I'll admit, I was a little hesitant to suggest Tasty Biscuit to my friends after reading some mixed reviews -- but I'm so glad we gave it a shot because our experience was fantastic! We loved everything we ordered: the corned beef hash was flavorful and perfectly crisped, the Española omelette was delicious and well-balanced, and the French toast combo hit all the sweet-and-savory notes we were hoping for. Portions were generous without being over the top. Service was excellent -- Lauren took great care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. The space itself is clean, bright, and modern with a warm, welcoming vibe. We'll definitely be back. Tasty Biscuit really delivered!

My experience was good but not great. My brunch companions ordered skillets that looked fantastic, but my eggs Benedict were only so-so. Parts of the egg whites were runny and the eggs were already cooling off when I got the dish. At the end, our server brought the check but didn't tell us to pay up front, so we were waiting for a while for him to come back. That said, the decor was nice, the staff was friendly, and out of there people, I was the only one with a mediocre meal.

I come here often to get breakfast. They never disappoint. The service is always great, the servers and hosts are always so nice! The restaurant itself is super cute and always clean! The food is also always good. I recommend their cinnamon roll french toast as well as their española skillet. Lunch is also pretty good

So I wasn't sure what to expect with all the mixed reviews on this place but it wasn't bad. It wasn't THE BEST but not the worst by any means. It's a brunch place that serves decent food. I LOVED the creamy chicken and rice soup - very thick and great flavor. The Philly steak sandwich was slightly meh cause it was definitely not any better than the beef you can get at Subway or make at home from frozen - so I'll definitely try something else to judge them more on next time. My BF ordered the LOADED sandwich which was huge! Triple decker with a great flavor in the vanilla cream soaked Greek bread. The eggs were cooked perfectly and just the right amount of cheesiness and seasoning. The fries were my favorite part aside from the soup... Which leaves a little to be desired unfortunately. Overall not bad, like I said, just not "OMG YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE"... Just yet anyways. I'll try again and see how it goes because the menu has a lot of options for breakfast and lunch both savory and sweet. The decor was cute and just what you expect from a Greek brunch spot like this. The server was very attentive and service was quick. I will also say I love their ranch dressing, very dilly - just how I like it! Not disappointed but not wowed either. And the price point was typical for the portion sizes and quality imo.

Went to Tasty Biscuit for a late breakfast early lunch on Friday February 9th. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and quickly sat down in a booth. Our server Kayla came over and introduced herself and asked for our drink order. We both had coffee, but after Kayla recommended Turkish coffee I had to go with her recommendation. The Turkish coffee was "OUTSTANDING." We have not had coffee this good since we were in Dubai. Kayla, followed up her recommendation with a breakfast panini & avocado toast with poached eggs. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back to Tasty biscuit.

Great food and great Service !! Great Greek avocado toast . Just wish they weren't cleaning the floor with we were eating , all I could smell was Fabulous . P.s your septic system / city tank is leaking on the side of your building . It reeks when you walk into the parking lot .

Came for breakfast with family. We were able to get seating right away since there's ample seating. Decor is nice, fresh and clean. Lots of plants. Our waitress was really good and attentive. The portion sizes are pretty big. I was the only one who got a lunch dish while everyone else got breakfast dishes. I liked my chicken Ceasar pita. Prices were good. Nice place for breakfast

My husband brought my mom and I here for Mothers Day; he's been to the location in Lisle for lunch and said it was good. While I might try them again on a not so busy day, I really wasn't a fan of the Tasty Biscuit. The vibe is great, our waiter seemed new but was nice. The food was just very mediocre, there was absolutely nothing special about it. I didn't appreciate that you can't pick any upgrade you like - if I'm willing to pay $2-3 more for an upgrade side, let me choose my own. But on that note, the signature cinnamon apple pancakes were terrible (I didn't even want to eat the leftovers we took home). The apples were from a can, the pecans weren't toasted or had anything done to them, and the pancakes were covered in a thick cinnamon roll glaze that just overpowered the whole thing. There are many breakfast places around and I think I'd rather go elsewhere.

The ambiance of Tasty Biscuit is very homey. It was fairly busy, but for a table of 2, we were seated pretty quickly. It's bustling but it was a great Sunday brunch to go to. The service is pretty good! Food came quickly, server checked on us here and there, and answered our questions. The bussers also cleaned off tables and our plates out of the way quickly so that was cool too, they're very attentive. The food was pretty good as well! I had the Lumberman Breakfast and I loved it. Eggs were cooked to preference, the yoke was still runny, the sausages were juicy, bacon was good, ham was surprisingly great because I'm not a fan of ham but this one was tasty, and hash browns were great! I took half of the food home and ate it for dinner and it was still good reheated! My only feedback is the latte and the French Toast Tower. Which, maybe it's by preference as well, but my partner ordered the cookie butter latte iced and maybe it tastes better warm but the cookie butter was too thick and didn't mix well with the almond milk. Also, the amount of cream cheese on the French Toast Tower was a lot. So, maybe if you have a huge sweet tooth it could be your thing, but not ours. Anyway, with a lot of positives from our visit, a few foods shouldn't take you away from visiting! We would be happy to come back and try new dishes too!

It seemed like there were not enough servers, and staff kept saying they were too busy to take orders because they had too many tables. We waited a very long time just for someone to take our order, and overall the service felt slow, unorganized, and frustrating. On top of that, the food quality has dropped significantly compared to previous visits. We ordered the Holy Molly, and it came with literally three small pieces of meat, which was very disappointing for the price. As a customer, it feels like the restaurant may be trying to reduce costs, and unfortunately that appears to be impacting both service and food quality. I understand restaurants get busy, but in this case the experience was far below expectations. Between the long wait times, lack of attention, and noticeable decline in food quality, this visit was very disappointing. I would appreciate a response regarding how these issues will be addressed moving forward.

This place is incredible... the food is to die for. It's the first place I've been to and did not feel like bloated or so full to where I was sick because the portions were perfect. Nothing here fell short, in fact it's the first place in the burbs where the food wasn't overly salted or fried in some type of oil. Everything tasted fresh. The flavors were busting up in my mouth every bite I took, even down to snowball fight drink we had. I highly, highly recommend the bread cheese appetizer- this was something super unique to me as I've only had grilled up cheese one other time in Brazil, Queijo Coalho.... There was a beautiful twist on this cheese- crunchy, creamy, sweet, savory and the honey and tabbouleh were such a great finish to this dish. Pair this with the fresh bread and it was chefs kiss! We had the beer braised short rib and seabass- two completely different flavored entres that we absolutely perfect. The short rib you literally can't go wrong with- melted in my mouth with every bite - and hats off the the chef who cooked the onions so perfect to actually be able to taste them instead of just carmelizing or salting them! I would call this your typical Midwest comfort dish. The seabass was much different the salad was tangy with the lentils being rich- add a nice cooked crispy top seabass and you got yourself a unique dish of flavors that will have you thinking what's in it after hours! But the star of the show was dessert of course - OMFG - s'mores ice cream sunday ....... I died and went to heaven literally. I have never tasted ice cream that mimicked everything I've ever wanted my ice cream to taste like. It was the perfect temperature (trust me a lot of restaurants it's either rock hard or melted) this was epic. Creamy, almost pudding like and being able to taste every note was wild to me. The graham cracker - yes the freaking graham cracker was the best one I've ever tasted in my life. Clearly I've never had a graham cracker without preservatives before. The chocolate syrup .... Jeeze let me tell if I could swim in it I would.... The service was friendly, prompt and right on time. The server knew all the cues and timing of all the food to come out. She checked in everytime we got something to make sure everything was just right... you can tell she takes her job seriously but also knows how to interact with people - something a lot of servers lack these days so we really appreciated the service. As for the atmosphere- this place blows a lot of the chi city restaurants out of the water. The organic feel but fancy!
