Eh. Was alright. Restaurant it's self had cute decor and very new. Mini Donuts were yum yum. Strawberry banana +peanut butter Smoothie was very bland. It tasted like slightly flavored milk. Breakfast Quesadilla was the 2nd best thing we had (mini Donuts were #1). Kids Oreo Pancakes were your typical oreo Pancakes, good. Breakfast burrito was eh. After dropping off my daughter to her grandparents, I was looking for a very late breakfast. Luckily, this location was nearby and they closed a little later than other local locations I showed up and was welcomed right away. The menu had a great variety of selections so finding something you enjoy shouldn't be an issue Our server was nice and friendly. We were one of two groups inside but they were closing in 2 hours I ordered Chilaquiles for my breakfast. Price for the amount was good was reasonable but on the cheaper side. Oh man. I hate to do this. I've been here before and food and service was good. But, I ordered here for my family on Mother's Day through DoorDash and I waited for 45 minutes happily. Buuuuuuut it's Mother's Day and I have an angry mom in the car (it is her day) So we finally said something, ticket was lost, DoorDash won't refund. We just asked the food get made now. They were hesitant but did it. Not that we expect it, but there should've been a refund or something to make up for this. I'm as patient as they come but man this was a pretty harsh experience especially since 2 orders of pancakes, two sides of bacon, and crepes took over an hour. Not leaving this review to totally trash this place, but I would love to see what a bit more staffing and better organization would do. read more

We were apprehensive trying a restaurant in a strip mall. We thought it would be dark and not inviting. We we wrong. This place is bright and airy with a great menu. The variety of delicious sounding items made it hard to decide what to order. I'd recommend their mimosa flight. We ordered the County Scrambler. It was excellent! The bacon and sausage they use are delicious. The hashed browns were perfect. We also ordered the biscuits and gravy. Although everything else was awesome, the gravy was only ok. It was good on the scrambler but alone on a biscuit, it was lacking flavor and too watery of a consistency. I make sausage gravy from scratch and they could use a revamp on the gravy recipe. However, that wouldn't deter us from going there because everything else was fantastic tasting. Great friendly service, cute and clean restaurant. We will definitely be back! read more

Very small breakfast spot, Booths are small, tables are close. Crammed feeling. Had some issues with the food. Ordered California crepes which are savory with egg whites, spinach, avocado, tomato, I added bacon, topped with hollandaise sauce. The crepe batter they use for this savory crepe is likely the same they use for their sweet crepes, it had cinnamon in it which was an odd combo. Not a fan. The big kid meal is generous with two eggs, two slices of bacon, a nice side of hash browns and two pancakes. The problem, pancakes are pre made then warmed up in microwave Id guess cause they come out piping hot, and not off the griddle hot. Like reheated too hot. They also charge $2.99 for one slide of toast on the side. There are much better breakfast places in the area for ambiance and food. read more

I don't even know where to start first of all we ordered a two egg breakfast and the soup salad combo. The salad came loaded with onions, which of course wasn't on the menu which cannot be eaten so they remade that but it took about 20 extra minutes the ranch tastes, like kraft brand ranch dressing, the scrambled eggs came completely burnt like completely unable to be eaten.... when I asked to have them remade (so they were nice and fluffy like scrambled eggs are supposed to be) the cook brought them out and gave me a nasty look like you would not believe 30 minutes later too I asked for the hashbrowns well done they were pretty much raw. I got the chicken and rice soup as well, which I had one bite of, and couldn't eat the rest of because it really had no flavor, we didn't order drinks (which is good for us because we never would've gotten refills, which is why I tend to stick with water which we ran out of that) the table filled with dishes were never cleaned, but the best part is when I went to the washroom, and there was nothing to clean myself with. Luckily, I noticed that before I used the facilities and then went into the other genders facilities with the same Situation, went to the host stand, and I said you have no cleaning supplies in either gender bathroom, and he said I don't understand what you mean. I'm like you don't have any toilet paper in any bathroom on the site 45 minutes later a car rolls up with two toilet paper rolls that someone brought. Mind you this was on a Sunday morning with plenty of staff. There must've been at least 13 people working not counting the people in the back , I don't even know how you run a restaurant without toilet paper in your bathroom. All I have to say is this breakfast took about 2 1/2 hours the service was slow as all get out I found the staff to be extremely unwelcoming and rude You can barely get checked on and they're walking past you nonstop, but man oh man, don't leave a tip and watch how that goes the prices are on the higher side I mean really for two eggs and hashbrowns and an English muffin $13 When Jewel has eggs for $.98 right now And they had the nerve to ask me if I would leave them a good Google review. Luckily, I don't know how to do that but I do know how to leave a review on here and it isn't favorable. I just wanted to get out of there as quick as humanly possible , I can tell you right now I will never go here again. I will make my own eggs and hashbrowns at home. read more

We went to Eggceptional for the first time today and everything was eggcellent!!!! The food was served fresh and hot delicious coffee hot syrup and fresh to order bacon and sausage. I have not been to a breakfast place that has been this delicious and enjoyable in a very long time!!! It will certainly be our new breakfast spot. Also are server was very courteous and attentive. Honestly I was super hungry I was excited to try this place and it was just terrible. Everything was super bland like no taste at all . I got a smoothie too and strawberry banana one and it was just bland it tasted like straight yogurt. I got the protein skillet and it was just bland the meat had no flavor and the potato's just had paprika sprinkled on top honestly really unsatisfied and still left hungry.Also waitress didn't really know what was on the menu either and was kinda rude when I asked for more strawberries since I wanted to put more on top of my crapes. Dirty table, unacknowledged staff, no pride in service, lack of training and product knowledge. No one over 21 to serve mimosas. Food was HORRIBLE. Nothing was fresh; potatoes precut frozen from a bag and thrown in a deep frier, fake hollandaise, and canned veggies. What a shame that they expanded if this is the garbage they serve. Truly shocked they have 3 locations. We even overheard a table demand manager presence and they never showed face. We were not the only unhappy customers on this rainy Saturday. Will never return. Ordered breakfast sandwiches on their website which stated "comes with 3 scrambled eggs" and when we received the order there were no eggs in either sandwich. Called the restaurant and the lady told me she can't do anything about it because we didn't choose which way we wanted our eggs even though their website NEVER gave us the option to choose anything related to eggs. It only stated it already "comes with 3 scrambled eggs." I asked for a refund in which she first said she can't do and after showing my frustration... she told me she'll be calling me back after she reaches out to a manager. Went on a Weds morning at about 10:15. There were only three other tables taken, so were offered choice of table or booth. Chose a booth. They are really tight. I'm slender and it was uncomfortable for me so I can't imagine how anyone bigger than a 5 ft 4 inch slim woman would be comfortable. We moved to a table. Server Aala was the best part of our meal - genuinely kind and attentive. There was a goodness about her. Unfortunately it took a really long time for our food to come out. Not her fault at all as she was consistently checking on tables and was in and out of the kitchen. There was another server and at this point only three occupied tables. So clearly this was a kitchen issue. Our order: B & G with hard poached eggs, bacon & hash browns; Ham & cheese omelette w/cubed potatoes & toast. The only item that was hot was the omelette. Everything else was barely warm and even the toast was cold. Hard poached eggs were completely runny and cubed potatoes were completely over cooked - dark brown. Told husband to send the food back but he said we'd have to wait another 20 minutes which he was right. Another couple came in and literally had to squeeze into their booth. Again, Aala was the best part of our visit. She was such a pleasant person. Normally I'd give a place a second chance, but not for this place. While the restaurant was immaculately clean and had nice decor, the booths were ridiculously tight. And although they had a sign that they're expanding, the fact that all the food was cold except for the omelette tells me they don't know how to time things out. I went here this morning with my 6 year old and barely 3 year old. I ordered an adult meal for my 6 year old since he didn't like the kids menu options, in addition to my own adult plate. I didn't order for my 3 year old because she is picky and doesn't eat. I shared some food from my sons adult plate with my barely 3 year old and was shockingly charged a split plate fee because I didn't order a full meal for a small toddler of barely 3 years. I kindly asked the server to remove the charge but she refused and said "that is our policy". I asked for a manager but she said there was none and no number to provide to call one. so I paid the fee and was about to walk out the door when the owner walked in. I explained to the owner the situation. she did remove the fee but confirmed it was policy and tried to justify the charge- I will not be going back. there are too many other breakfast places with better service and policies than this one to deal with this. read more
