It was bland. The potatoes had a nice crispy and it was fluffy on the inside. There were barely any sausages. I wanna say they used one sausage and cut it in small pieces. My husband got the chicken Caesar wrap. This also barely had any chicken, mostly just lettuce. First few bites were good, but then it felt oily snd heavy after awhile. We are in town for a family wedding, staying at a hotel down the road. We tried Manny's because they were close by, and were absolutely blown away! Each of us ordered something different, and we all loved our dishes. It's a cozy place, so there was a bit of wait time. Totally worth it. Aside from the food though, the sweet waitress was just lovely. She made suggestions such as the house made jam and salsas that took everything over the top, and made us feel completely at home. I went here about 10:15 for a late breakfast. Due to the middling time there was no one else in the cafe. I came out here to have a Mexican style breakfast, most likely the chilaquiles, but when I saw the description for the chori-papas skillet, I went with that. Unfortunately, when my breakfast was served, I was confused by the eggs on top. I had ordered over medium, and what I got was a thin layer of scrambled eggs, which looked more like a frittata. My server apologized and was getting ready to whisk it away, but I told her not to bother, scrambled eggs would be good enough. As it turned out though, these were not my idea of scrambled eggs. I prefer them nice and fluffy, and they make them more like a frittata, or omelette half. Okay, so enough about that snafu. She had kindly and quickly offered to fix it, but I declined. That's on me. The potatoes, peppers, tomatoes and chorizo were strikingly fresh, vibrant looking colors and cooked to perfection! The pancakes were not only attractive, they were very tasty. This cafe is not near my home, so who knows when I'll be there again. But if I did live nearby, I'd make this a regular stop. There is a nice variety of food offerings on their menu to try out. Awesome and very comfortable environment. It's a pretty small restaurant but that didn't take away from the good experience. My boyfriend and I were just driving around the area looking for cafes. Went on Yelp and found this restaurant so we went and gave it a try. The server was very nice and welcoming. I got the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon, and my bf got the meat lovers skillet with a side of fruits. Pretty good food, can't say its the best.. but really good and satisfying for a small restaurant. The fruits that were served were not your typical watermelons, cantaloupes etc. they gave us blue berries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. Food came quick as well! read more

This is a hidden gem. It is tiny. 7 tables or so. But in our experience, you can likely get one of those tables and have some really great food at good prices. I am not often a fan of chilaquiles. It seems like the tortilla too often ends up wet and soggy. But today I tries the chilaquiles rojas. Flavorful, crunchy, a little spicy. Good eggs with sour cream and cheese. Ooh and a bit of pickled red onion. A great breakfast that made my 11 year old daughter ask if we could come back tomorrow, LOL. We also ordered an egg white fritata with tomato, spinach, mushroom, goat cheese and it was great. Waffle and pancakes were also good. And they have some of the better coffee around. The hubs and I found this place via Yelp reviews, and it did not let us down. The staff was very welcoming and took their time explaining their recommendations. We decided to order coffee, and the Chilaquiles with a medium done steak, and the brioche French toast. First off, the coffee was some of the best we've ever had. Not bitter at all and so incredibly smooth. We mentioned it to our server and he stated that it's a special blend and they knew the grower and where the coffee comes from. The food came out quickly, and everything was cooked perfectly. The flavor of the chilaquiles was insanely delicious and the steak was cooked to our liking and had a lot of flavor as well! The French toast was great afterwards as a sweet treat with the syrup. The price for everything was great too. For 2 coffees, and 2 main dishes with the added steak, the total was just shy of $40, not bad. Overall, it was a great experience and we'll be coming back often. read more
