Been going here for many years and it's consistently a good spot. The portions are absolutely massive and it's almost unbelievable the prices for the amount of food you get. It's very homey and the service always feels like family. One of my favorite breakfast places in Carol Stream.

This place is always busy. I would come here often and I have no idea how I haven't done a review. The service is always quick and the waitress was attentive. I ordered the gyro and two eggs. I think they used to have a gyro omelet, but I didn't see that on the menu. I just love this local spot and frequent it often. If you're nearby, you definitely have to stop by for a bite! I always forget, but there are seasonal specials on the board when you walk in. Check those options out too!

My absolute favorite breakfast place!! They have the best omelettes and their baked apple pancake is out of this world. Gus and Jenny are so friendly that it gives the atmosphere of a big family. Their servings are generous and their prices can't be beat.! The service is fantastic and all the weight staff is so friendly and helpful. When they are extremely busy, which is not unusual, their entire staff pitches in to serve coffee so there's no weight.

I had such a wonderful breakfast here. Not only the food but the customer service was over the top and so friendly. I saw the strawberry/cream stuffed french toast when reviewing it and was sold on making that a breakfast stop right away. When I got there I was immediately seated and brought water. My server, which I knew her name when I was there but am drawing a blank now came right over to see what I'd like to drink and asked if I knew what I'd likenor needed more time. I said I came for the french toast but that the menu had sooooo many other things that really sounded good. She asked if I wanted anything else but I asked how many slices the toast was. She explained that its 3 stuffed pieces cut in half which means really that 6 pieces of bread. I laughed and said there was no way I'd even come close to finishing it so couldn't order anything more. She just giggled at me. When my food came it looked so yummy and it tasted great. I was checked on just enough to make sure I was good and when I said I needed a to-go box. The server made small chit-chat with me so knew I was staying in a hotel so asked if I had a fridge in my room and mentioned that the made sure to put in some to-go syrups and butter along with silverware. That was nice as often you do not get to-go silverware. When I was paying my bill I mentioned how great she was and left her a pretty nice tip to show my appreciation. Totally worth it.

I absolutely love this place. Great food variety, awesome tasting food, great coffee, great service, hardworking staff in a casual setting and very busy establishment. I recommend coming in to enjoy great food and coffee. They have plenty of parking but they do close early.

It's such a nice family that owns this place. Service is always great. Every time we come for breakfast, we try to have something different and always leave satisfied.

I used to live down the street from here and now I'm like 20 mins away, but still worth the drive. My usual is the country chicken steak. It comes with hash/fruits , toasts/English muffin, and choice of eggs. The portions are always huge. Their menu is extensive and most of the stuff on their are pretty good. I've had their Philly cheesesteaks, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and other lunch items and they're all pretty good. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, even when they're super busy. We love coming here!

We had a very nice breakfast here on a Tuesday morning. It was nice because it was not crowded. We enjoyed our eggs, well done bacon and fried potatoes. Service was fast and friendly.

Their omelettes are seasoned to perfection and stuffed with quality ingredients. Their grits are perfectly seasoned, creamy and easy on the palette with a hint of cheese in it. The pancakes are perfectly buttery, fluffy, golden brown and complete with their syrup. Even their fries are seasoned and cooked to perfection. All in all, they serve food that is delicious, hearty and will keep you going throughout the rest of the day. We ordered the chicken tenders and fries, the French toast combo, and the sausage and cheese omelette. We ate well and had food left over to bring home. The service was exceptional as well and you are treated well and made feel welcome. I recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a diner to have breakfast or lunch. We have it the highest marks; earning a 5 out of 5 star rating. Go Granny!

The parking lot and the restaurant on a weekday morning is plentiful. Service could be improved. Is it Maria? The young and cute one that provided an awesome service. The older, mean looking one was not very friendly. She gave us mediocre service. Prices are slightly expensive, especially for a large orange juice. We ordered half biscuits and gravy, stuffed French toast, and sweet hot fried chicken and waffles. I'm not quite sure why my half order of biscuits and gravy took about 22 mins to make. It was faster at other places. They were good, not amazing. We received the main entrees a few minutes later. They were huge portions. I got my fried chicken on the mild side because I didn't know how spicy they make it. The mild version was still good. They were easy to cut and tangy. The waffles were firm but soft. The stuffed French toast was loaded with cream cheese inside and I like the generous amount of fresh fruit. Overall, the experience is like a solid 4.

My husband is a human garbage disposal (rude, but true). He is happy to eat here. I really hate this place. They are overpriced, very overcrowded (on any day of the week, however do not even attempt to get a table on the weekend). If you decide to come anyway, know that they provide no seating for waiting customers. This dump is standing room only. They have (kind of, to be generous) a couple of options for vegans. Their hashbrowns are made with canola oil, and by default only, they are vegan. They serve a very bad fruit cup at a very high price. If you bring your own vegan butter, their toast and English muffin are options as well. Vegetarians do well at any breakfast diner. There are no Celiac/gluten-free options that are marked, however to my limited knowledge eggs and hashbrowns are safe (minus toast) I really try to do my best and include everyone of every dietary choice/need in my reviews.

I had the pick two, which was a half a sandwich (grilled cheese) with a half salad (kale Caesar). The salad was so good! Fresh, crisp and lightly dressed. However, the grilled cheese was pretty sad. I opened it up and there was hardly any cheese. It was just like eating two pieces of grilled bread. They need to improve on that for sure. I also had their 12oz wildflower latte which was very tasty, but served lukewarm and not hot. If the milk is not steamed, it will bring down the temperature of the coffee. I like my specialty coffees served hot. I do have to say every staff member we came in contact with was friendly. They seemed happy and were there to help and answer questions. You place your order at the counter, and you receive a number which you display at your table. There are two dining areas with tables and a few booths to dine at next to where you place your order. Members of the staff bring your order to the table. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Even with the sad grilled cheese sandwich which was disappointing and the lukewarm latte, I would definitely go back to Blackberry Market again to try other items on their menu. I'll pass on the grilled cheese, though.
