    Tuscan potato soup
    Lisa M.

My mom and I stopped by and decided to give Granny's a try. It was a cute restaurant for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries. It also came with a soup and I went with the Tuscan potato soup. The soup was quite tasty and flavorful. It was definitely homemade. I would get it again. The sandwich was pretty good and fries were crinkle cut. Overall, I was satisfied with my lunch. My mom ordered breakfast and went with the pancakes, bacon, eggs and sausage. The portion size was good and the food satisfied my mom's taste buds. Overall, this is a nice breakfast, brunch or lunch spot. Check it out!

What a great way to start my Chicago trip trying a local staple! This place was so homey and had great local diner vibes! The staff were friendly and the food and service was excellent! It's located in strip center plaza so there's plenty of parking! We ordered the spicy flamingo, the country biscuit, and Harriet's Garden! Everything was fantastic! Flavorful and presentation was on point! The cheese was melty and gooey and there were fresh avocados and crispy potatoes! If you're in the area, definitely a must try! Family owned and operated and loved the experience !

was surprised that something was open on new year's day so decided to grab some brunch. got seated right away and helped probably 5 minutes after. got water and sprite for drinks. the sprite tasted like your good sprite. for food we got the french toast combo, pancakes, bacon and extra crispy hasbrown. the combo 6/20, the french toast was okay nothing crazy, needed the syrup. the bacon i was not a fan of. the sausages were super good and the eggs were bland and not it. pancakes 7/10 typical pancakes nothing crazy but not the best hasbrown 8/10 could of used more browning on the bottom but overall really good with a hint of salt bacon 6/10 i was not a fan but my partner enjoyed the bacon so to each their own. you pay at the end up front and the pricing is good for the quality of food.

Granny's is home away from home! Excellent service and attention to details. Very friendly staff. Every time I come I feel welcomed. The food is delicious. My favorite is the spicy flamingo. The coffee is always on point and I never have to ask for refills- they keep it coming. The ambience is chill. My favorite place!

The first thing you'll notice is how brightly lit and lightly colored the booths are, a huge contrast to the other diners. We were seated right away and had our drink order taken within 3 minutes, it was great service. I ordered the Rueben Sandwich, which came with their homemade sauce, it was a fantastic because it had a coleslaw feel to it. I would go back there in a heartbeat and give their breakfast a try.

Great peppery biscuits and gravy, homemade food. Typical breakfast/lunch pricing. One of the better breakfast places in the area.

Two crispy beef patties, cheese, onion, pickles, Fyve sauce and just a few jalapenos all wrapped in a potato bun hug. Perfectly balanced flavors! And I am not a fry gal, but i got the combo that came with crinkle cut fries. They were actually very crispy and seasoned so I added cheese sauce on the side. Heaven. I requested no cheese on the OKC, but they put cheese on it anyway. I'm surprised how many burger places use American "cheese" (that is, processed cheese product) instead of offering natural cheese like cheddar. Also, it was so greasy that it made the bottom of the bag soggy. That said, the burger was pretty good overall. The beef patties were thin but smashed nicely. The jalapeno peppers added a nice kick. The onions could have been more caramelized. The bun, as implied earlier, was soggy from all the grease. The interior was nothing special, but nothing objectionable. It's fine for young males, the target audience. Service was fine and pricing was fair.

The host was very accommodating and made sure we were seated where we wanted. I ordered the Pitmaster with truffle fries, and both were easily a 10/10. The mac and cheese was a great side, and the fried pickles were the perfect addition to the meal. As someone who gets full pretty quickly, I ended up sharing my burger and fries, and there was still plenty to enjoy. It wasn't very busy when we first arrived, but the restaurant gradually filled up and became quite packed as the evening went on. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and a lively atmosphere!

We tried their award-winning chili, cauliflower tots, two cheeseburger kids' meals, a Wagyu burger (sub jalapeño bacon) with onion rings, and a butternut squash salad w/ steak. The server was very helpful and offered wonderful recommendations, including the jalapeño bacon on the burger. He made sure our drinks were always filled and gave us updates on when we could expect our apps and entrees. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.
