The golf course is beautiful. The whole resort itself is very inviting. Down stairs has restaurant along with an exquisite patio. They have a live band on Saturday nights and weather permitting the band plays outside on the patio. Dancing and drinking and lots of great food. Inside includes many dining tables and a few booths. Full bar seating and wonderful dining menu. The beer specials tonight are $5 for Sam Adams Summer Ale and Rebel IPA!!! I will be back!! The Sam Adams Girls are here tonight giving away free samples of Summer Ale and Rebel IPA!!! Lots of fun give-always also!!

It will do after a long drive from Kansas City, and my Mytouch phone hacked the hotel's internet. I don't know. They have kick ass pizza, but no refrigerator or microwave to store the left overs int he rooms. The pizza crust is thin, and I've had both the pepperoni, and the Canadian bacon. Both were good, but why? I had to leave the damn left overs in the restaurant. The Taco pizza was horrid. It was unflavored and needed salt or something. I don't add extra salt to my food, but this meh. The beer was cold. The service was great. They do offer a kid's menu, but they don't tell you that. That way there's no left overs. I'd get in my car and drive it to Tree Guys and not go to Prairie River, which I intend to do this weekend. Prairie Rivers prices are reasonable. Much reasonable than the $28.00 buffet up stairs, which I've had and it was awful. Good for a hotel restaurant, but pick somewhere else if possible.

Everything has to come together...nice round of golf...welcoming people...can't be better sunset evening...made on spot tacos and 312 beer...we love it.

Bar in the middle. Front more sports bar & back is more restaurant. Nice outside but didn't have fire pit on but do tonight for the prom.

Ribeye was extremely forgetful. Zero flavor. Carrots and asparagus dull too. Not worth 36 bucks.

I was treating my parents for my dad's birthday month (My daughter has a lot of activities, lol) and the menu appeared to have something for everyone. The 22 minute drive to Itasca was so worth it! The restaurant, which is open to the public, is on the same property as the Itasca Country Club, which is not open to the public. You go down the stairs, through the developing pizza bar, and to the restaurant. The restaurant space itself is cozy, with beautiful, natural lighting, and lots of seating options. We were asked booth or table and seated right by the picture window with beautiful views of their ice rinks and golf course. The food was above and beyond my expectations! Between the 5 people at the table, I sampled the French Onion soup, Sweet & Spicy Brussels, Bacon Smash Burger, Pot Roast Grilled Cheese, Sweet Tees (Donut Holes), Peanut Butter Smore-o, and Verde Dulce. The soup was not salty as I find some iterations, the brussels had complex flavors with hot honey, bacon, candied pistachios, and crumbled feta. The pot roast grilled cheese was very flavorful, but my boyfriend did state he wished the sandwich had more meat in it. The Sweet Tees donut holes were cooked to perfection without being oily and the jam accompaniment was a perfect texture and level of sweet. The Peanut Butter Smore-o was creamy and decadent with its perfectly ratioed layers of ganache, peanut butter mousse, Oreos, and whipped cream. The Verde Dulce, though, was the delicious classic olive oil cake with pistachio gelato & that throwback of candied pistachios from my appetizer. Even better than the food, our server, Kara, was one of the sweetest, most attentive human beings! She answered all of our questions, refilled our fountain drink and iced tea glasses when they were at 75% without prompting, made sure my dad felt celebrated with a candle, etc. Her teammate who was in charge of clearing our table was also prompt and I appreciate her asking what plates she could take. Overall, it was a beautiful late morning/early afternoon with delicious food and impeccable service. 10/10 recommend!!!

I say kids but they were sweet young men. They give you instructions and off you go. Those stones are heavier than I thought they would be. It took a lot and I have the upper body strength of a kitten so... I was struggling. Eventually I got the hang of it. OR maybe the ice got slicker and my stone went further. I think that's actually what happened. Lol! They do allow you to take drinks and appetizers out to the ice. There are warming posts and they were used. Cuz I was cold. Dinner was fabulous. Service was good and just yeah. A great time was had. I ordered the Thai Chili Salmon. So delicious. My husband ordered the Blackened Cajun Chicken Pasta. It was so cheesy but he really liked it. Our friends ordered the Jambalaya and Grilled Salmon. They also ordered dessert to go. A great time was had. Totally worth the drive. I cannot wait to go back. There is a lot for parking.

I ordered the Iron Man omelette from the "Lighter Side" section, which sounds modest but clearly has superhero-level powers. Moments later, a glorious cloud of fluffy egg whites loaded with veggies landed in front of me like a gift from heaven. Now let's talk about the true headliner: the half avocado atop the omelette. Not the sad, rock-hard "maybe it'll ripen by Thursday" kind. This was an award-winning avocado performance. Perfectly ripe, green, and flavorful. The most perfect piece of produce ever produced. And then...strawberries, watermelon, and other tasty fresh fruit on the side. In February. In the Midwest. I don't know what kind of agricultural wizardry is happening back there in the kitchen, but I support it. As if that weren't enough, the waitress noticed my deep emotional commitment to hot sauce and brought me not one but TWO Cholula flavors. That's not just service. That's the kind of service that brings a tear to my eye. I was too overwhelmed with happiness to take photos, but let me just say it was an amazing lunch. Honestly, I may order this exact meal for my next ten visits because why mess with perfection? Outside of my ideal meal documented here, the breakfast+lunch menu is extensive, the daily soup rotation is strong, and everything about this place screams "small town gem." Came for lunch. Left emotionally attached to an avocado. 10/10.
