Venuti's delivered an absolutely wonderful dining experience for my wife and me and our four friends. My wife and I both ordered the sausage and peppers, which came in a rich, flavorful juice that was so good we didn't want to leave a drop behind, but we took a lot home it was so filling. The focaccia bread was truly to die for -- soft, warm, and perfect for soaking up every bit of that amazing sauce. Our waitress, Aphrodite, took the whole evening to another level. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. A fantastic meal from start to finish. We heartily recommend Venuti's for great Italian cuisine. read more

Horrible. Lunch buffet $23.95. Nothing, and I mean nothing was good. "Beef" meatball was dry. Rigatoni with sugo were cold; mushy. Chicken "Vesuvio" was a dry, stringy breast patty with a terrible sauce. The chicken had no life left in it, as if it was freeze dried. Italian beef - that's right - dry. Eggplant parmigiana, tasted commercial. Nothing tasted fresh-made. Cafeteria food. Dark Salad Bar- NO LIGHTING! Passed on it. Did try a little lettuce. It was crisp (there - I found something positive). Wednesday at noon. Huge place, nice atmosphere. Empty. Three tables of people. I am horribly disappointed. We have probably had dinner at Venuti's 100 times and have NEVER had a bad meal. Everything we've ordered is always delicious and served piping hot. The service is swift and friendly and always accommodating. Some of our favorites are chicken parmigiana, chicken francese and the filet. Their minestrone soup is the benchmark against which all others are measured. While we were disappointed when they discontinued the profiteroles for dessert, other desserts are delicious too. And their proprietary blend of coffee is delicious! Any bad reviews are not to be believed. Dine here! You won't regret it. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the way we were treated here. The customer service from the hostess, manager, and bartenders was shockingly rude. What stood out most was how differently we were treated compared to other guests. It seemed like the staff were much more welcoming and accommodating to people who appeared to know the owner or were part of the regular Italian crowd, while others were treated dismissively. The experience felt very exclusionary and uncomfortable. We were also told there was a minimum spend requirement, but it appeared to be enforced selectively. Watching how other tables were handled made it feel like the rule was only applied when the staff didn't particularly care for the customer. Overall, the service has clearly gone downhill. Between the rude attitude and the inconsistent enforcement of rules, it left a really bad impression and made the entire experience disappointing. Won't come back here again nor will I be recommending this place to anyone. read more

don't come here! I'm updating my review because I was honestly shocked by the manager's response. In my original review, I mentioned that we typically spend over $30 per person to give context about the type of dining experience we expect when visiting. My concern was never simply about the policy itself, but about how the situation was handled and how confrontational the interaction with the manager became. What was most disappointing was that instead of acknowledging that concern or addressing the way the interaction was handled, the response I received simply repeated the policy. Completely missing the point. Policies are one thing, but how management speaks to customers says a lot about a business. If this is the way customer feedback is handled and how management chooses to communicate with paying guests, it definitely makes me question whether I would return. read more

We went to Venutis Lounge on Saturday February 28th for Ladies Night and enjoyed every moment! Our waitress name was Brianna, very kind and thoughtful, patient with us. The food was delicious I had the orecchiette vegetarian pasta and lentil soup to start, so good, afterwards was dancing to amazing music DJ Hans created an awesome vib. From the moment we stepped inside and saw the breathtaking staircase and ornately decorated halls, we knew our day was going to be special. The outstanding service we received--from Ciara, our main contact, to the waitstaff and bar staff on the day of--only confirmed it. Ciara was exceptional at communication, promptly answering every question and addressing every detail with care. She helped ease our stress through any scheduling or decor challenges that came up, making the entire process feel smooth and manageable. The food was unparalleled--our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. The vodka sauce and martini bar were definite highlights and must-haves for anyone hosting their reception there. We truly couldn't have imagined a better experience and are incredibly grateful to Ciara and the entire Venuti's team. To start the building is beautiful. Stone & Marble everywhere! We where sat promptly and the server was wonderful! I forgot her name but she was great! We ordered the baked clams for an appetizer and let me tell you they where the best I've had in a long time! Ordered a second half dozen just because they where so good. We ordered the 18oz Bone in Veal Chop Parmesan and it was impressive! They butterflied the chop but left the bone in for presentation I'm guessing. It was cooked perfectly and there was more than enough food for the two of us we took some home. Had to try the homemade tiramisu and it was delicious! It was a Saturday night and there was a DJ in the lounge and it looked packed. We will have to come back to check that out also. read more

It breaks my heart to write this bad reviw, I just hope it helps them get better, I have been going to Venuti's since it used to be Villa Venuti on Golf Road, used to go there regularly, always great food. Went there last night to celebrate my ssiter's Birthday last night, the place was mostly empty, it was snowing pretty hard, OK ordered Calamari, Mussels shrimp Cocktails and a Grigliata for appetizers two each, Calamari were OK, The mussels were very tiny, very few and mostly empty! for $19.00 not a good thing! the shrimp cocktail were nice and big, but they were overcooked and hard as a rock to chew!. The octopus on the grigliata was so overcooked that it tasted awful. Main entry, ordered the Zuppa di mare, the menu doesn't say it but is comes on a big bowl of spaghetti, the sea food consisted of two shrimps and mostly calamari, the biggest issue was that the spaghetti was so overcooked that you could use it for glue! I mean you could not possibly overcook it any more, ate the little seafood and left the spaghetti. Very dissapointing, out of all the dishes we ordered, the only good one was the rack of lamb my sister ordered, Veal Parmigiana, same issu, way overcooked pasta, etc.. Fantastic food! Loved the chicken parm and house salad was solid. Disappointed the outdoor space wasn't open/they close the whole restaurant at 8pm on Sundays. Did get quick, attentive service from the bartender, albeit in the empty bar space. The vibe and decor are both good, and they have a stage in the bar area for live music it appears. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu (and hopefully sit outside on such a nice night)! read more

We recently held our wedding at Venuti's Banquets and it was absolutely amazing. Ciara was an absolute pleasure to work with and she helped us even through every minor detail which allowed our vision to come to life as we hosted our family/friends. This is beautiful venue and their banquet packages offer so much more than any other banquet we had found. I fell in love from the very first visit. The food was absolutely amazing as well. We have no complaints on anything and their staff truly made the day go as smooth as possible. I would wholeheartedly recommend Venuti's for any occasion. My niece's wedding and reception was recently held at this beautiful establishment and the servers were great. From one coming back to my mom (the grandmother of the bride) to personally ask her if she wanted more coffee to another one asking my daughter with food sensitivities if she'd like to have olive oil on her specially made salad, the service was top notch. I got to celebrate my birthday with dinner here and then kept the night going in the lounge, which was a blast! You always have great live bands and DJs, and the bartenders? They make some of the best cocktails around. You really are everything in one -- restaurant, lounge, and event space. First the good- the calamari and stuffed zucchini flowers were delish. The place is beautiful. Now the rest- The bruschetta, ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo were all SO salty. The cheese in the ravioli wasn't creamy at all- more like a solid piece of semi-soft cheese. Mom said her lasagna was "as good as Maggiano's" so take that for what its worth. Had Sunday brunch at Venuti's restaurant. I loved the elegant and upscale ambiance of the space. The restaurant was not busy, due to it being Superbowl Sunday. This worked fine for me :) The food options were fantastic! They had the following stations: Salads (love the crab salad!) Hot entrees (lots of classic Italian options) Omelet Waffles Carving (PRIME RIB!!) Service was friendly, efficient, and on point. Used plates were removed quickly, drinks were replenished without having to ask. I was very pleasantly surprised with the variety of vegetarian friendly dishes. Don't get me wrong, they definitely had plenty of protein entrees to choose from (fish, chicken, beef, sausage). The only critique I have is that the prime rib was cold. That was the first thing I got for my meal, and I tucked in right away, so it wasn't sitting in my plate for any length of time. From their soups, salad, & Arancini, to their Chicken Marsala or Chicken Vesuvio it's all really good. A close friend had a wedding here, it all went really well. We were here from out of town with our family for a funeral. We had a very large group and the entire staff from the owner to the wait staff was so kind and attentive. The food was so good I failed to take any photos before eating it all!!! The meal was timed perfectly allowing us to talk and share memories. From the delicate olive oil to the filet, the cook and flavor was on point. Although there is plenty of seating, it felt intimate with gorgeous decor. No glass went empty, no plate lingered past it's welcome and no one left without a little extra for the next day. If you are visiting from out to state - yes it should be your dinner spot. LOVED this place! I'm partial to Italian and this place seemed authentic to me and delicious. Service was phenomenal. The resturaunt is beautiful, kind of upscale, with nice atmosphere. We unknowingly came in an hour before close (we came at 7 on a Sunday) but staff was still very gracious. Food was so good. I got the salmon with 2 sides which was so good, flavorful and well cooked. Everyone was happy with their dishes. We also got the tiramisu which was amazing! Would highly recommend! Only thing is, it's in the suburbs, and we left after 8 pm on a Sunday. Getting an Uber was difficult but we eventually managed. Just something to keep in mind and in no way the restaurant's fault. read more

My daughter's wedding was held at Venuti's on April 6th, 2024. The staff at Venuti's were wonderful to work with. Our expectations were surpassed. The food was amazing and the service for all guests was incredible. They had one server per 2 tables, guests didn't have to wait for other tables to be served and the food came out hot. They asked the guests how they would like steaks cooked, that is not something that other "upscale" venues do when serving a large group of people. Anyone looking for a venue for the weddings should consider this business. Top notch and you know you are getting your money's worth in every aspect. read more
