Ordered a thin crust with pepperoni, onion, green pepper, and extra sauce. Really solid pizza. Next time I'm going to do well done and it will be perfect perfection.

Tried Mangia Napoli's rigatoni pistachio pesto pasta at Little Italy Fest and it was really good! The pistachio pesto was creamy and flavorful with a unique twist on traditional pesto. I wish they had a downtown Chicago location so I could grab this more often.

Lasagna with meat and cheese is a Thursday special.

This restaurant is exceptional. They take pride in the entrées they serve. The staff is very focused and hard-working. It's a family run business. And they have perfected many signature items. They run promotional pricing for carry out every day of the week. I love the lasagna on Thursday. The owner personally makes an Oreo cheesecake that is outstanding for dessert items and the pizza is good. The appetizers are good soup salad and a great place to go have a super meal and reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place. It's casual dinning and I love the food.

Veal Vesuvius

What a find close to O'hare airport. This is a great little family run Italian gem. Outstanding service at the bar and all scratch made classic Italian food made for a wonderful meal. Had the Veal Vesuvius and it was delicious. The sauce had a great flavor highlighted by the fresh rosemary and buttery flavor. The Veal was cooked perfectly with a very light breading. If you are near Ohare this beat airport food 100 times over!!!

Mangia Napoli is our go-to pizza spot for half price pizza Monday. The price is right, and the pizza is fantastic.

Well, this is an update to the review I made 4 years ago. Today was a better experience all around…read more We arrived around 2pm and it was not crowded at all. They added an enclosed outdoor seating area, Thats lets you enjoy the breeze or sun, but protects you from the rain. It used to be a tent, so this is definitely nicer. My wife and I were seated immediately. The server quickly brought us water and garlic bread. I really like that they give you 5 fairly big pieces of garlic bread for only two people. Nice touch. We were not in a hurry and couldn't decide what we wanted so we started with the calamari salad. $29, but it's huge and chock full of those calamari guys. Lettuce is always crisp and has everything I like in it (olives, eggs, carrots, artichoke, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and romaine lettuce). We were almost full just from the salad alone. I ordered a grouper sandwich (not fried), and my lovely wife ordered the Scottish salmon plate, which comes with potatoes and grilled vegetables. My sandwich came with coleslaw and fresh cut fries. They switched to fresh cut since my last visit, and this was an upgrade. My sandwich was great, and huge too. Could not finish it. Wife's meal was a humongous slab of salmon. The veggies now come on a smaller plate, but that's okay, given the size of the fish. Service was a tad slow, but like I said, we weren't in any hurry. Total tab was $100, with tax and that pesky 3% service fee. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It's not a place I can go every week, but when I can splurge, and have a taste for fresh seafood, this is the best around.

Good prices with many selections even if you aren't into seafood including pasta and tacos. The only thing is the seafood needs to be cooked with a lil crab boil or seasoning for additional flavor on the actual crab, etc ... I had 2 bags.... 1-jumbo crab clusters (they actual look like regular snow crab) , 1lb. shrimp, 1/2 lb green mussels (beautiful size and plump), 2 regular crab clusters, and 1/2 lb crawfish. Most importantly you get corn and potatoes in your bag. A perfect amount of food even if you are not a huge eater. Great drink options also.

I enjoyed the pickles, good size, fresh each, breaded perfectly. Our entree consisted of garlic noodles, shrimp, snow crab, corn on the cob, and potatoes. We tried the crab da jour seasoning hott! I thought everything was delicious, plenty of shrimp, there was enough to take home, fresh, tasty food . Melrose park has a gem. Service was very good, attentive. Some customers will have an issue with the service fee included on their bills but I thought it was worth it. Definitely worth the trip

The prices are pretty reasonable and the minimum order for delivery is manageable. I was quite impressed with the young lady who answered my call when I inquired about setting up a wholesale account with them. She sent the price list, customer forms and promptly forwarded our information to a salesperson. Been a customer for a few months and gone to Fortune Fish' Seafood Show at Navy Pier. The Show was impressive and showed the range of products available. I was very excited about the possibility of including a lot of products on our next menu. Turns out this was the high point of our experience with Fortune Fish. It's been downhill ever since. It started off well ... We needed to get some product in about a week for an event, no time to lose. So instead of Fortune's salesperson coming over to drop off some samples, they sent the local representative from the product manufacturer instead. She called ahead asking us what we'd like to sample, came over and cooked it all off in our kitchen. The product was well received so we placed an order. A couple of weeks later, the salesperson from Fortune finally gets to our kitchen to give us an overview of the product line and to bring us samples of fresh and frozen fish. The super fresh salmon filet he brought was an especially welcome staff lunch that day. The rest of the products were good too so we made plans to use them in a new menu. Over the course of the next few weeks, we placed several orders and the deliveries have been generally hit or miss. Lately, it's been more misses than hits. Especially frustrating are the mispicks -- we order something and they send us the wrong stuff. Then when it's returned it takes FOREVER to get a credit. When we have a busy operation to run, we expect our vendors to be on the ball and to not create more work for us. A simple apology and follow up goes a long way and so far we haven't gotten either from Fortune.

Also had the El Elote and these were not exactly my favorite version. There was a mix of several flavors. My main lunch was the Pescado Frito which I decided could actually be the best fish tacos I've ever had. Would definitely return for this dish. Needed a dessert so tried the Date Pudding. Expecting something resembling a pudding, was a little surprised that the dish was really a cake. Very tasty and definitely needed the ice cream on the side. Overall, was pleased with the offerings. The restaurant is medium sized, clean, and spacious, with a wide variety of menu options. They offer brunch, lunch, dinner, desserts, and happy hour which is a nice bonus. I do wish the happy hour details were listed on a menu or somewhere visible. Our server, who was new, let us know that margaritas were half of and only select tacos were $2 for taco Tuesday. We each ordered a margarita, which was deliciously only $6 each. For starters, we shared the "Los Tres Diaz" platter, which includes guacamole, elote and fish ceviche served with chips. Everything was fresh and flavorful and great way for two people to sample a bit of everything. As for the tacos, the happy hours election wasn't as appealing so I opted for the shrimp tacos. Instead, the order came with three good size tacos and although the rice and beans are available as an add-on they don't come with a meal. The highlight was definitely the mango pineapple, pico de gallo, and added so much flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I'd definitely come back.

We started with a mango margarita -- I tried it on the rocks and blended -- and both were refreshing without being too sweet & had the right amount of liquor. My boyfriend ordered a michelada and enjoyed it a lot. We had plenty of shots throughout the night as we watched the game and chatted. For appetizers, I got the cold shrimp and octopus cocktail along with half a dozen oysters. The oysters were so fresh that we ended up ordering another half dozen. For our entrée, we shared the Chapuzón, which came with cooked shrimp, octopus, and oysters in a flavorful house sauce that paired really well with everything. The sauce is so addicting, we ordered some rice to enjoy it some more. We finished with a flan that wasn't the typical style you see everywhere, but it tasted really good and was a nice way to end the meal.
