Tasty 1/4" crust, balanced sauce, quality cheese, and a meaty sausage with just enough fennel, all perfectly coooked. And, wonder of wonders, all this was on a 10" small size and nicely priced pizza! Ordered once and loved the chopped salad. Should've left a good review then even though everything else was eh. Wanted the salad again tonight a half hour before close. Sure. Just turn your ordering off. My waffle fries were burnt so bad there wasn't even potato in them but cold somehow, the chopped salad was 90% lettuce, and the soup was barely room temperature. Just don't take orders. We spent over $50 on garbage we literally threw out. I worked at a pizza place for 5 years open to close short staffed everything. I get it but that makes this more annoying. The pizza was so good! The sauce is some of the best pizza sauce I've ever had. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the online ordering system. When you add notes to your order, such as requesting a crispy pizza, those notes apparently don't make it to the kitchen and are only seen by the front-end staff. (Just an FYI) As a result, my pizza wasn't prepared exactly as requested. However, the restaurant's customer service was outstanding. They were very understanding and assured us they would take care of us next time. Great food and great customer service--I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! read more

They threw out perfectly good leftovers & coffee that was my own coffee mug! I'm extremely disappointed with how our table was handled. I briefly stepped away to give my loved one a hug, and when I came back, staff had cleared things away even though we were not finished. My $7 coffee was thrown out, along with a bag of takeout food that I had clearly set aside to bring home. It was already packaged to go, so there should have been no confusion that I wanted to keep it. Clearing a table before guests are finished is frustrating enough, but throwing away both my drink and my packaged leftovers made the experience especially upsetting. Staff should always ask before disposing of a guest's food or belongings. read more

This place has great ambience. They have a great Italian vibe and the food is delicious and abundant. Drinks are reasonable and they do have specials. My husband and I shared the Napoli special which had thinly sliced chicken with mushrooms and a delicious sauce. Yes they do allow sharing for no extra charge! Soup or salad is included. Bread is always served warm with olive oil and cheese. We always seem to have the same server which is fine because he's always been very good. There is a very nice looking bar when you enter the restaurant with tables for dinner. They serve lunch from 11-2 and then close to get ready for dinner at 4 pm. Try it, you'll like it! read more

They run promotional pricing for carry out every day of the week. I love the lasagna on Thursday. The owner personally makes an Oreo cheesecake that is outstanding for dessert items and the pizza is good. What a find close to O'hare airport. This is a great little family run Italian gem. Outstanding service at the bar and all scratch made classic Italian food made for a wonderful meal. Had the Veal Vesuvius and it was delicious. The sauce had a great flavor highlighted by the fresh rosemary and buttery flavor. The Veal was cooked perfectly with a very light breading. Nice and thin great Chicago tavern style staple. The chopped salad is so delicious. I love that everything is customizable when you order on their website. I'm picky. Haha. The salad dressings are also really good. I'm a ranch girl and I approve. The cheddar cubes. Don't sleep on them. The wings are also a sleeper hot. I've passed this place numerous times without knowing it existed. I found it one day when we were looking for pasta places. I am rounding up with just under a 4 star. I would give this place another go when we're feeling like Italian again. It was a Monday so I went with their special on thin crust pizza with sausage and giardiniera. I got a medium and I was able to eat half of it in the first sitting. Overall tasty. They cut into squares by default. I had issues with the cheese and toppings separating off the crust every time I went for a slice. My gf tried the lasagna. I think I chose bolognese for her. She enjoyed it. I just had a bite and it was a pretty sweet sauce. Prices were very reasonable. Order was pretty much ready on time. The biggest dilemma I had with this place was their menu/website and ordering. Their website didn't allow for online ordering and said to call. I called and it would ring and then go silent. I guess they were really busy because they would put you on hold without saying anything. I didn't know I was on hold until I hung up and dialed again and they said something the second time. Then when I went to pick up, I could see this practice by employees answering the phone. I understand that things can get busy, but at least greet a caller first or fix your online ordering.
