Tasty 1/4" crust, balanced sauce, quality cheese, and a meaty sausage with just enough fennel, all perfectly coooked. And, wonder of wonders, all this was on a 10" small size and nicely priced pizza! Tried Mangia Napoli's rigatoni pistachio pesto pasta at Little Italy Fest and it was really good! The pistachio pesto was creamy and flavorful with a unique twist on traditional pesto. I wish they had a downtown Chicago location so I could grab this more often. read more

This restaurant is exceptional. They take pride in the entrées they serve. The staff is very focused and hard-working. It's a family run business. And they have perfected many signature items. What a find close to O'hare airport. This is a great little family run Italian gem. Outstanding service at the bar and all scratch made classic Italian food made for a wonderful meal. Had the Veal Vesuvius and it was delicious. The sauce had a great flavor highlighted by the fresh rosemary and buttery flavor. The Veal was cooked perfectly with a very light breading. Nice and thin great Chicago tavern style staple. The chopped salad is so delicious. I love that everything is customizable when you order on their website. I'm picky. Haha. I've passed this place numerous times without knowing it existed. I found it one day when we were looking for pasta places. I am rounding up with just under a 4 star. I would give this place another go when we're feeling like Italian again. It was a Monday so I went with their special on thin crust pizza with sausage and giardiniera. I got a medium and I was able to eat half of it in the first sitting. Overall tasty. They cut into squares by default. I had issues with the cheese and toppings separating off the crust every time I went for a slice. My gf tried the lasagna. I think I chose bolognese for her. She enjoyed it. I just had a bite and it was a pretty sweet sauce. Prices were very reasonable. Order was pretty much ready on time. The biggest dilemma I had with this place was their menu/website and ordering. Their website didn't allow for online ordering and said to call. I called and it would ring and then go silent. I guess they were really busy because they would put you on hold without saying anything. I didn't know I was on hold until I hung up and dialed again and they said something the second time. Then when I went to pick up, I could see this practice by employees answering the phone. I understand that things can get busy, but at least greet a caller first or fix your online ordering. I had delivery as I am currently not very mobile after hip replacement surgery. Their delivery driver was excellent followed specific directions perfectly. The food was outstanding had a stuffed artichoke, which was arguably one of the best I've ever had. I also had a dozen baked clams. They were outstanding. Cheeseburger pizza cooked perfectly. A last minute lunch decision turned into my favorite dining experience so far this year! A customers recommendation brought us to this quaint, cozy little Italian restaurant near their office. Turned out to be near perfection (my opinion, of course)! Starting with the tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked Calamari and best I've ever had Bruschetta, things only got BETTER! By suggestion of my client, a regular, I ordered the 12" Chicken, Bacon, BBQ pizza which was their second smallest size. A perfect blend of all elements and one of the best pies I've ever eaten. I could only manage eating less than half and I was full! My two compadres both ordered the Rigatoni a la Vodka and of course offered some to me. Holy S !! magic on a plate for sure...Truly Inspirational. I'm getting emotional now so I'll wrap this up. If you are in the area, go there! If you live somewhere else, still go there!
