Elio's logo doesn't do justice to what's inside. This place is spacious and serves a good amount more than pizza! Antipasti, bruschetta, salad, paninis, Italian beefs, and desserts! Of course you'll want to come here for the fresh Neapolitan pizza, and there's a wide variety to choose from. Margherita, pesto, funghi, and bufalina are some of the standouts. The wood-fired ovens deliver a good crisp to the edges of the pizza while maintaining a good base. Toppings are aplenty on all the pies. One difference in taste was the pizza dough which didn't have the saltiness that other Neapolitan places have. This stood out to me, but it's purely a taste preference. Service was attentive, and the interior updated and inviting. Very spacious place to host a large group or just get together with a friend or two. If anything, Elio should really update his logo to be more elegant and upscale based on what he's serving up here.

There's a certain vibe for Elio, it's warm, relaxed, and welcoming! Elio is a nice family business with large selection of pizzas for red/white/green sauce. We selected one of each and tried out the pizzas as well as some apps, salads and dessert. Food was alright, but the crust is different to most places, it thin, but it sorta melts as you eat it, missing the chewiness you find in most crust. Take it as a preference, I prefer having more chew. Service was excellent, great family owned business, great menu, awesome for large groups - so added more stars for the other stuff.

This is the place that I used to go often when it first opened in the old location. They are known for their individual brick oven pizza. This newer location has more parking along the strip mall as well as spacious seating inside and out. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The food that I often order is their brick oven individual pizza. The difference of other types of pizza made is The brick oven's high, even heat contributes to a crispy exterior while maintaining a chewy interior. I usually order the pizza that has mushrooms and sausage, pepperoni, and also prosciutto with fresh arugula. All the flavors were tasty. Of this new location, I've been here twice before late last year and this past weekend and I felt like their dough recipe might have changed. Because it didn't really have a chewy interior texture like all other brick oven, pizzas that I have tried in the area and from their old location. The texture is like a regular pizza dough or pizza that is gluten-free like it fell apart in my mouth not the chewy texture you would get from an oven brick pizza. The topping of flavors are good selections. The mozzarella cheese is good but the dough I was not happy with. Especially the price that you pay for this type of pizza. I have ordered their salads, which are really good great for sharing since it's like a family style size portion. Even if you want grilled chicken, it comes out fresh and hot on top of the salad. You can order alcohol drinks, here like wine and beer. They have two separate rooms. One of them could be for a private party since they have a dividing door. The outdoor dining is located in front of the restaurant, with chairs and table umbrellas, and the view is the parking lot but it's nice. They try to put some fresh flowers around the border of the dining area. I have ordered their muffaletta sandwich twice. I've had better. The Olive salad spread topping was not as much as I hoped for I was expecting like a layer across a sandwich. It was more of a sprinkle. the slices of the deli meat where paper thin the bread itself was dense and thick. If that's the type of sandwich you'd like it's a pretty big sandwich. I've had better flavored sandwiches at other Italian restaurants before. Overall, it's a nice experience to try out but I feel like they changed their dough recipe. Hope they will change it back for more to a chewy texture of the brick oven pizza.

Every time I visit, it's such a fantastic experience. Seriously, your wood fired pizzas are absolutely out of this world truly the best I've tasted. It's not just the pizza, though, all your food is consistently delicious, and I always feel like I'm getting incredible value for the quality. Your team deserves a huge shout out too. The service is always top notch, making everyone feel so welcome. It's no surprise that the restaurant is always buzzing with happy customers it's a testament to how great you are. On top of that, the whole place is always sparkling clean, which really adds to the comfortable and inviting atmosphere and let's talk about those pizzas. The BBQ Chicken pizza is an absolute winner, that smoky flavor is just divine. The Ricca pizza, Pure amazingness, so rich and perfectly crafted. And for anyone looking for a symphony of tastes, the Sfiziosa is a must try it's packed with such wonderful and unique flavors.

Good, good pizza! Have been wanting to try this place for a while. The restaurant feels authentic and has a large dining area. Nina was our server who was kind and attentive. We started off with the bruschetta mix which wasn't my favorite, but still good. We tried the Tonno (tuna), pesto, and pear and Gorgonzola. Time for the pizza! They have such a LARGE selection of pizzas! And all super affordable! My husband ordered the Rustica which was around $13 and I ordered their well known capricciosa, also just $13!! The dough was light and crunchy, but not very doughy. Remember, this isn't true Neapolitan, rather a Sicilian style pizza. Exquisite! Definitely on my wood oven pizza rotation of pizzas in the west suburbs. Glad we came! We'll be back for sure and would be interested in trying another appetizer.

I met my 3 buddies today for lunch. 3 of us are retired & 1 is still holding on? We met @ Elio Pizza on Fire on Addison IL. I've been wanting to come here forever. Elio's brother use to have an Elio's Pizza restaurant on Lincoln that I ate at w/my wife & sister. Their food was outstanding so needless to say we were very disappointed to learn that they had closed the restaurant on Lincoln. Da 4 of us guyz still get together from time to time for lunch & drinks to catch up up on life. We ordered 4 items and decided to share family style to be able to try more items. We got 2 salads & 2 pizzas * Pecan Salad - Mixed greens, bacon, red cabbage, cherry tomato, shredded cheese, and Dijon vinaigrette. Excellent combination. * Elio Super Salad - Grilled chicken breast, fresh mixed greens, tomato, and special house dressing. * Sausage Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, sausage & mozzarella cheese * Bacon Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, crispy bacon & mozzarella cheese All their food is cooked fresh & delicious. Very nice restaurant in a tiny strip mall out dere in da suburbs. It's quite a way (20 miles from where I live in da city) but we had da time. Excellent food great service & good times. Good to see da guys again (until next time)

Something has changed with their dough. For some reason it's very doughy and not as crispy as it once was.

One size pizza?

Yes, one size only.

I was recommended is it worth the trip from Evanston? don't mess with me I'm Italian.

Lol..Thanks Ron! Maria, as Ron mentioned I am Italian and live pizza period. All kinds, but Napolitano / wood fired is my fave. I would drive for pizza, but that's me. Elio (owner) and his wife are usually there and they make you feel like family. I… Read more

My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with Angel hair pasta and he wanted vodka sauce on everything. When he got his order, it came with vodka sauce only on the pasta and the chicken was in a separate container with a tomato sauce. He was able to try both sauces so that was good but he really wanted just the vodka sauce. It came with a piece of bread, which was really great too. I ordered the Sunday stuffed shells with cheese if you're craving cheese, this is what you want to order. Mine also came with bread. I don't eat tomato sauce so they substituted Alfredo sauce and it was delicious. The dining room was very small. They only fit maybe 3 to 4 tables in there. Unfortunately they have a table with empty pizza boxes and other supplies that really should be put somewhere else. I would not recommend dining in. The food was served in takeout containers. Everybody was nice there so it's definitely a place will come back next time. We're gonna try the pizza. She says the wings are also great and highly recommended..

We started with the bruschetta, which was fresh, flavorful, and served promptly. For our main course, we ordered a stuffed cheese pizza, and it did not disappoint. It was incredibly cheesy, with a delicious sweet garlic tomato sauce that complemented the pizza perfectly. The crust was cooked to perfection, and the balance of sauce, cheese, and dough was spot on. Although the restaurant does not offer traditional table service, the staff went out of their way to check on us several times throughout our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our experience. Everyone we interacted with was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.

You now order and pay at counter and it's delivered to your table. I ordered Lasagna, even asked the guy at the counter if it was beef or sausage. He said it was Beef- it wasn't beef it was SausageI ordered two-one was to go while I was there to eat mine in the restaurant. My friend ordered a pizza. I received my salad which was fine. I then received my Lasagna and waited for her to be served. Well the guy dropped her pizza in the kitchen so he offered her a dessert which he never ever came back to our table-to get her order for that. She waited for another pizza to be cooked. My Lasagna was the worst I've ever orderedTasted like stewed tomatoes I told the server and he took it away. Asked if I wanted something else I said sure Chicken Limone. My friend got her pizza. The Chicken was served to me-and the server told me this was the third time I've done this and the last time. I'm confused what is he talking about? He accused me of doing this 3 times before. He said I looked just like somebody else that was there before. Obviously he was really really mistaken. I told him I hadn't been there for 12 years and he was mixing me up for someone else. He was a jerk!! I asked him for silverware because I didn't have any. He never Ever came back to our table. My food then got cold‼No utensils to eat my food with. I walk with a cane and it's a pain in the ass to get up so I waited. He never came over to us again. No one to ask for help in the dining room either. He disappeared‼ I then waved down a girl working there. I had her wrap my chicken because I couldn't eat it because that jerk didn't bring me silverware‼ She brought my to go order of the lasagna I bought for my husband. My friend had her pizza wrapped. We walked out and she never received her dessert-(for the inconvenience of the waiter dropping her pizza and having to wait for another.) It was a complete disaster and his accusations ruined our meal and her birthday. I'll never go back again. This was my favorite Pizza place since the 1970's. I paid $45 and left that jerk a $9.00 dollar tip that I wish I could take back
