Very accommodating for a large group (I believe there were about 15 of us-but we DID have reservations). Pizza was a good size and had nice flavor combinations; we each got our own pie and some apps to split, if you're very hungry you could probably finish the whole pie, but I had leftovers.

Elio's logo doesn't do justice to what's inside. This place is spacious and serves a good amount more than pizza! Antipasti, bruschetta, salad, paninis, Italian beefs, and desserts! Of course you'll want to come here for the fresh Neapolitan pizza, and there's a wide variety to choose from. Margherita, pesto, funghi, and bufalina are some of the standouts. The wood-fired ovens deliver a good crisp to the edges of the pizza while maintaining a good base. Toppings are aplenty on all the pies. One difference in taste was the pizza dough which didn't have the saltiness that other Neapolitan places have. This stood out to me, but it's purely a taste preference. Service was attentive, and the interior updated and inviting. Very spacious place to host a large group or just get together with a friend or two. If anything, Elio should really update his logo to be more elegant and upscale based on what he's serving up here.

There's a certain vibe for Elio, it's warm, relaxed, and welcoming! Elio is a nice family business with large selection of pizzas for red/white/green sauce. We selected one of each and tried out the pizzas as well as some apps, salads and dessert. Food was alright, but the crust is different to most places, it thin, but it sorta melts as you eat it, missing the chewiness you find in most crust. Take it as a preference, I prefer having more chew. Service was excellent, great family owned business, great menu, awesome for large groups - so added more stars for the other stuff.

This is the place that I used to go often when it first opened in the old location. They are known for their individual brick oven pizza. This newer location has more parking along the strip mall as well as spacious seating inside and out. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The food that I often order is their brick oven individual pizza. The difference of other types of pizza made is The brick oven's high, even heat contributes to a crispy exterior while maintaining a chewy interior. I usually order the pizza that has mushrooms and sausage, pepperoni, and also prosciutto with fresh arugula. All the flavors were tasty. Of this new location, I've been here twice before late last year and this past weekend and I felt like their dough recipe might have changed. Because it didn't really have a chewy interior texture like all other brick oven, pizzas that I have tried in the area and from their old location. The texture is like a regular pizza dough or pizza that is gluten-free like it fell apart in my mouth not the chewy texture you would get from an oven brick pizza. The topping of flavors are good selections. The mozzarella cheese is good but the dough I was not happy with. Especially the price that you pay for this type of pizza. I have ordered their salads, which are really good great for sharing since it's like a family style size portion. Even if you want grilled chicken, it comes out fresh and hot on top of the salad. You can order alcohol drinks, here like wine and beer. They have two separate rooms. One of them could be for a private party since they have a dividing door. The outdoor dining is located in front of the restaurant, with chairs and table umbrellas, and the view is the parking lot but it's nice. They try to put some fresh flowers around the border of the dining area. I have ordered their muffaletta sandwich twice. I've had better. The Olive salad spread topping was not as much as I hoped for I was expecting like a layer across a sandwich. It was more of a sprinkle. the slices of the deli meat where paper thin the bread itself was dense and thick. If that's the type of sandwich you'd like it's a pretty big sandwich. I've had better flavored sandwiches at other Italian restaurants before. Overall, it's a nice experience to try out but I feel like they changed their dough recipe. Hope they will change it back for more to a chewy texture of the brick oven pizza.

Every time I visit, it's such a fantastic experience. Seriously, your wood fired pizzas are absolutely out of this world truly the best I've tasted. It's not just the pizza, though, all your food is consistently delicious, and I always feel like I'm getting incredible value for the quality. Your team deserves a huge shout out too. The service is always top notch, making everyone feel so welcome. It's no surprise that the restaurant is always buzzing with happy customers it's a testament to how great you are. On top of that, the whole place is always sparkling clean, which really adds to the comfortable and inviting atmosphere and let's talk about those pizzas. The BBQ Chicken pizza is an absolute winner, that smoky flavor is just divine. The Ricca pizza, Pure amazingness, so rich and perfectly crafted. And for anyone looking for a symphony of tastes, the Sfiziosa is a must try it's packed with such wonderful and unique flavors.

Good, good pizza! Have been wanting to try this place for a while. The restaurant feels authentic and has a large dining area. Nina was our server who was kind and attentive. We started off with the bruschetta mix which wasn't my favorite, but still good. We tried the Tonno (tuna), pesto, and pear and Gorgonzola. Time for the pizza! They have such a LARGE selection of pizzas! And all super affordable! My husband ordered the Rustica which was around $13 and I ordered their well known capricciosa, also just $13!! The dough was light and crunchy, but not very doughy. Remember, this isn't true Neapolitan, rather a Sicilian style pizza. Exquisite! Definitely on my wood oven pizza rotation of pizzas in the west suburbs. Glad we came! We'll be back for sure and would be interested in trying another appetizer.

I met my 3 buddies today for lunch. 3 of us are retired & 1 is still holding on? We met @ Elio Pizza on Fire on Addison IL. I've been wanting to come here forever. Elio's brother use to have an Elio's Pizza restaurant on Lincoln that I ate at w/my wife & sister. Their food was outstanding so needless to say we were very disappointed to learn that they had closed the restaurant on Lincoln. Da 4 of us guyz still get together from time to time for lunch & drinks to catch up up on life. We ordered 4 items and decided to share family style to be able to try more items. We got 2 salads & 2 pizzas * Pecan Salad - Mixed greens, bacon, red cabbage, cherry tomato, shredded cheese, and Dijon vinaigrette. Excellent combination. * Elio Super Salad - Grilled chicken breast, fresh mixed greens, tomato, and special house dressing. * Sausage Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, sausage & mozzarella cheese * Bacon Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, crispy bacon & mozzarella cheese All their food is cooked fresh & delicious. Very nice restaurant in a tiny strip mall out dere in da suburbs. It's quite a way (20 miles from where I live in da city) but we had da time. Excellent food great service & good times. Good to see da guys again (until next time)

My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with Angel hair pasta and he wanted vodka sauce on everything. When he got his order, it came with vodka sauce only on the pasta and the chicken was in a separate container with a tomato sauce. He was able to try both sauces so that was good but he really wanted just the vodka sauce. It came with a piece of bread, which was really great too. I ordered the Sunday stuffed shells with cheese if you're craving cheese, this is what you want to order. Mine also came with bread. I don't eat tomato sauce so they substituted Alfredo sauce and it was delicious. The dining room was very small. They only fit maybe 3 to 4 tables in there. Unfortunately they have a table with empty pizza boxes and other supplies that really should be put somewhere else. I would not recommend dining in. The food was served in takeout containers. Everybody was nice there so it's definitely a place will come back next time. We're gonna try the pizza. She says the wings are also great and highly recommended..

There was a certain irony in the manager's delivery of this judgment while his own nipples were protruding, obscene, through his too-thin pink shirt. At about 270lbs (and not carrying it well), his shirt was the only thin thing about him. Hopefully when Pyramids reforms their dress code, they'll start by making him wear a bra. Longtime Customer -- Disrespectful and Unacceptable Experience…read more I have been a loyal customer of Aurelio's for well over 10 years, and I have always enjoyed their pizza. I now live approximately 45-55 minutes away, but I continue to make the drive because I have been a longtime customer and genuinely enjoy their food. A couple of weeks ago, I placed my usual pizza order over the phone. Because I was driving such a long distance, I specifically explained that I wanted my pizza well done, but not burnt. This is something I have communicated to them before, and they know how I normally order my pizza. When I arrived after work and opened the box, the pizza was clearly overcooked and burnt to the point that I could not eat it. I calmly explained this and asked how long it would take to make another pizza. The employee who initially assisted me closed the box, pushed it to the side, and told me he did not know how long it would take. I then asked to speak with a manager. Another employee came over and claimed that he was the manager. I knew this was not the case because I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 10 years and am familiar with the management. I asked to speak with a higher manager. Before the actual manager came over, this employee also told me that I was not getting another pizza and made comments indicating that it was my problem. I found his behavior extremely disrespectful. Eventually, an actual manager came over. I explained what happened, and after another 15-20 minutes, my replacement pizza was prepared correctly. I also reported to the manager what the employee had said and that he had represented himself as a manager when he was not. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I later called back and asked to speak with Vito, the OWNER and MANAGER and or his wife who I have known from my many years of patronizing the restaurant. I was told he would be back Monday. When I called again, I received conflicting information about when he would be available. During one call, I was placed on hold and could hear employees laughing and talking in the background. Another employee eventually came on the phone, was extremely rude, raised his voice at me, and told me I was not going to speak with anyone other than him. At that point, I ended the call. I then located the company's corporate contact information and spoke with a representative. I was apologized to and specifically told that Vito would receive my message and contact me regarding the situation. No one ever contacted me. It has now been several weeks, and I am still waiting for the promised call. After more than a decade of being a loyal customer, I found this entire experience to be disrespectful and unacceptable. I drove nearly an hour to pick up an order I had specifically planned and requested, only to receive a pizza I could not eat, spend additional time waiting for a replacement, and then spend days trying to get someone in management to properly address how I was treated. To make matters worse, after I went out of my way to locate corporate contact information and was specifically promised that Vito would contact me, I never received that call. Mistakes with food orders can happen. That is not what bothers me most. What bothers me is the way I was treated afterward--the employee falsely representing himself as a manager, the disrespectful comments, the difficulty getting someone in management to address my concern, and the complete lack of follow-through. After more than 10 years of supporting this business, I expected to be treated with basic respect and accountability. Instead, my time, loyalty, and concern were treated as though they did not matter. The pizza was eventually corrected, but the way I was treated and the failure to follow up are what ultimately caused me to lose trust in a business I had supported for more than a decade. After more than 10 years of being a loyal customer, I will no longer be supporting this business. This experience has caused them to lose a longtime customer.
