Elio's logo doesn't do justice to what's inside. This place is spacious and serves a good amount more than pizza! Antipasti, bruschetta, salad, paninis, Italian beefs, and desserts! Of course you'll want to come here for the fresh Neapolitan pizza, and there's a wide variety to choose from. Margherita, pesto, funghi, and bufalina are some of the standouts. The wood-fired ovens deliver a good crisp to the edges of the pizza while maintaining a good base. Toppings are aplenty on all the pies. One difference in taste was the pizza dough which didn't have the saltiness that other Neapolitan places have. This stood out to me, but it's purely a taste preference. Service was attentive, and the interior updated and inviting. Very spacious place to host a large group or just get together with a friend or two. If anything, Elio should really update his logo to be more elegant and upscale based on what he's serving up here.

There's a certain vibe for Elio, it's warm, relaxed, and welcoming! Elio is a nice family business with large selection of pizzas for red/white/green sauce. We selected one of each and tried out the pizzas as well as some apps, salads and dessert. Food was alright, but the crust is different to most places, it thin, but it sorta melts as you eat it, missing the chewiness you find in most crust. Take it as a preference, I prefer having more chew. Service was excellent, great family owned business, great menu, awesome for large groups - so added more stars for the other stuff.

Every time I visit, it's such a fantastic experience. Seriously, your wood fired pizzas are absolutely out of this world truly the best I've tasted. It's not just the pizza, though, all your food is consistently delicious, and I always feel like I'm getting incredible value for the quality. Your team deserves a huge shout out too. The service is always top notch, making everyone feel so welcome. It's no surprise that the restaurant is always buzzing with happy customers it's a testament to how great you are. On top of that, the whole place is always sparkling clean, which really adds to the comfortable and inviting atmosphere and let's talk about those pizzas. The BBQ Chicken pizza is an absolute winner, that smoky flavor is just divine. The Ricca pizza, Pure amazingness, so rich and perfectly crafted. And for anyone looking for a symphony of tastes, the Sfiziosa is a must try it's packed with such wonderful and unique flavors.

This is the place that I used to go often when it first opened in the old location. They are known for their individual brick oven pizza. This newer location has more parking along the strip mall as well as spacious seating inside and out. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The food that I often order is their brick oven individual pizza. The difference of other types of pizza made is The brick oven's high, even heat contributes to a crispy exterior while maintaining a chewy interior. I usually order the pizza that has mushrooms and sausage, pepperoni, and also prosciutto with fresh arugula. All the flavors were tasty. Of this new location, I've been here twice before late last year and this past weekend and I felt like their dough recipe might have changed. Because it didn't really have a chewy interior texture like all other brick oven, pizzas that I have tried in the area and from their old location. The texture is like a regular pizza dough or pizza that is gluten-free like it fell apart in my mouth not the chewy texture you would get from an oven brick pizza. The topping of flavors are good selections. The mozzarella cheese is good but the dough I was not happy with. Especially the price that you pay for this type of pizza. I have ordered their salads, which are really good great for sharing since it's like a family style size portion. Even if you want grilled chicken, it comes out fresh and hot on top of the salad. You can order alcohol drinks, here like wine and beer. They have two separate rooms. One of them could be for a private party since they have a dividing door. The outdoor dining is located in front of the restaurant, with chairs and table umbrellas, and the view is the parking lot but it's nice. They try to put some fresh flowers around the border of the dining area. I have ordered their muffaletta sandwich twice. I've had better. The Olive salad spread topping was not as much as I hoped for I was expecting like a layer across a sandwich. It was more of a sprinkle. the slices of the deli meat where paper thin the bread itself was dense and thick. If that's the type of sandwich you'd like it's a pretty big sandwich. I've had better flavored sandwiches at other Italian restaurants before. Overall, it's a nice experience to try out but I feel like they changed their dough recipe. Hope they will change it back for more to a chewy texture of the brick oven pizza.

I hidden jewel in Addison Illinois best Pizza ever authentic and well executed. the sandwich and the salad are out of this world. the service very accommodating and friendly staff. Bring your family here is family orientated love the fact that you get so much food for your money. In fact the prices are unbelievable you get to take food home you get so much food you will not finish it. the ambiance very Italian authentic modern music you would believe you are in Italy before you actually live America. Very friendly staff the Owner is very polite and the cook is from Napoli Ciao

Good, good pizza! Have been wanting to try this place for a while. The restaurant feels authentic and has a large dining area. Nina was our server who was kind and attentive. We started off with the bruschetta mix which wasn't my favorite, but still good. We tried the Tonno (tuna), pesto, and pear and Gorgonzola. Time for the pizza! They have such a LARGE selection of pizzas! And all super affordable! My husband ordered the Rustica which was around $13 and I ordered their well known capricciosa, also just $13!! The dough was light and crunchy, but not very doughy. Remember, this isn't true Neapolitan, rather a Sicilian style pizza. Exquisite! Definitely on my wood oven pizza rotation of pizzas in the west suburbs. Glad we came! We'll be back for sure and would be interested in trying another appetizer.

I met my 3 buddies today for lunch. 3 of us are retired & 1 is still holding on? We met @ Elio Pizza on Fire on Addison IL. I've been wanting to come here forever. Elio's brother use to have an Elio's Pizza restaurant on Lincoln that I ate at w/my wife & sister. Their food was outstanding so needless to say we were very disappointed to learn that they had closed the restaurant on Lincoln. Da 4 of us guyz still get together from time to time for lunch & drinks to catch up up on life. We ordered 4 items and decided to share family style to be able to try more items. We got 2 salads & 2 pizzas * Pecan Salad - Mixed greens, bacon, red cabbage, cherry tomato, shredded cheese, and Dijon vinaigrette. Excellent combination. * Elio Super Salad - Grilled chicken breast, fresh mixed greens, tomato, and special house dressing. * Sausage Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, sausage & mozzarella cheese * Bacon Pizza - San Marzano pizza sauce, crispy bacon & mozzarella cheese All their food is cooked fresh & delicious. Very nice restaurant in a tiny strip mall out dere in da suburbs. It's quite a way (20 miles from where I live in da city) but we had da time. Excellent food great service & good times. Good to see da guys again (until next time)

I'm not saying that when you visit Chicago you should drive 45 minutes to Elio's, but you could The muffuletta is on point (says a guy who loves to visit New Orleans) but the chicken ceasar is the best ever. I know, it's a chicken ceasar -- but the size and how they make the chicken was out of this world good and the service was superb. Don't let the strip location scare you off, just get there.

Something has changed with their dough. For some reason it's very doughy and not as crispy as it once was.

    One size pizza?

    Yes, one size only.

I was recommended is it worth the trip from Evanston? don't mess with me I'm Italian.

Lol..Thanks Ron! Maria, as Ron mentioned I am Italian and live pizza period. All kinds, but Napolitano / wood fired is my fave. I would drive for pizza, but that's me. Elio (owner) and his wife are usually there and they make you feel like family. I… Read more

We enjoy quiet and cozy, this place is packed probably beyond Fire Department Code when there is ANY sports on TV, pretty much any language or anywhere in the world. Service is 5-star, beyond question. Food is edible for carryout especially since this place is 10 minutes from our home. I am a Hindu vegan since birth and they make a mean custom salad for me, with zero dressing so that I may add my own (lol try asking Olive Garden for a salad with no dressing, no croutons... guaranteed fail). My husband says the sausage and mushroom on an extra thin crust is a lot better than a frozen. A big compliment from him, he hates Lou Malnati's. I have NEVER been able to get an answer as to whether their French bread is vegan. Nor are they able to show me the packaging to read the ingredients. This is frustrating and I am perplexed. For us, unsuitable as dine-in. In the top 33% as destination carryout. Bottom line, almost 5 stars, but they have potential.

I was a BIG FAN of this place, and I'm sure this post doesn't apply to most- unless you're a…read moreparent. Their pizza is great. Management is simply heartless, and unwilling to compromise, or even follow THEIR OWN rules stated.. My BIGGEST issue in life is being unkind and being hypocritical. This place has done BOTH. If you're 21- GREAT PIZZA, AND GREAT POOL!! If you're a PARENT of a 20 y.o. that is in APA, FORGET IT!!! THEY WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME EAT in the area(where there were AT LEAST 5 TODDLERS from different families) to WATCH OUR TEAM PLAY!!. My son ate pizza there WITH HIS FAMILY when he was UNDER 10!! NOW that he's 20, we can't even do the same as OTHER FAMILIES THAT WERE THERE just to cheer our team on!!! TOTAL and UTTER HYPOCRISY. NO MATTER HOW GOOD the atmosphere and pizza is, the management is UTTER TRASH expecting my son to WAIT IN THE CAR for 3.5 HOURS while our team plays. BTW, this is the ONLY PLACE in DuPage APA that DOESN'T ALLOW the 18+ that EVERY OTHER PLACE DOES. My son wasn't(understandably) willing to wait for me to teach the "co-captain" how to score. Instead he took a 2.5 hour BUS RIDE BACK HOME upset. They LITERALLY said "The LAW has nothing to do with it- it's about our 'house rules' ", in which there were at least 5 kids under 10 y.o. eating with THEIR parents, just as WE ASKED to do. Rules are one thing- hypocrisy and judgement are another when it's right in front of your face. This place switched owners in 2000. If you're on the "good side" of the owner- YOU'RE GREAT!! If not, hopefully you catch them on a good day if you're 21 or over. Even if you ARE 21+, you could easily get booted without ANY explanation WHATSOEVER. All I can say is, my son is my LIFE, and to have him going to get pizza on Monday's WAS a fond memory. It literally HURT walking out of there when we weren't allowed to eat and watch our team play from the SAME PLACE we sat that was "fine" and treated KINDLY as a KID, but now due to "house rules"(not the law), we couldn't even do THAT anymore. This experience pretty much completely negated our very good times and experience there just because a few people had to be a hard a$$, and show us "who's in charge". It's CRYSTAL CLEAR that many years ago being approached by staff, smiling, asking about our pizza- and then THIS. What an UNFORTUNATE way to ruin memories. I will not deny, if you never had this issue, it's at least 4 stars. Watching my 20 y.o. son walking to catch the Metra after we fought traffic for an hour to get there hurt. I used to love that place, but they were WAY more intent on being "tough guys" than even TRYING to accommodate the situation.
