My husband ordered 1/2 Soup Chicken Enchilada Chili and picked the Chicken Pesto for his full Sandwich. The bread is amazing. I commented on the gambling machines that were inside the restaurant and he made a snarky comment about where was I from that this is unusual. I let him know I was from out of state. I then asked for recommendations. He said the breaded steak sandwich is popular. I was feeling more like Italian beef, which is what I ordered. Even though I ordered the sandwich, wet, the beef came out dry, and had three pieces of green pepper on it. I don't know if I have ever had just green pepper on an Italian beef sandwich before. There was nothing extraordinary about the sandwich. Shaved beef on a bun. That's it. As basic as it gets. It was lacking any type of flavor, so I tried to dress it up with salt and pepper, which only helped marginally. I sat down at a table, not more than 15 feet away from where the owner was leaning against the counter. Not once did he check in with me to see if I enjoyed the food. I was still the only customer. I think, even if I really enjoyed the food, which I did not, I would not return to this restaurant based on the attitude of the owner alone. He does not know how to run a business, much less make Italian food.

I wasn't expecting much when I walked in, but that changed as soon as I got to the counter. The young man working there was incredibly enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about what he does. He spoke very highly of his father and grandfather, which was really nice to hear and showed how much pride they take in the business. I ordered the Rigatoni alla Vodka, and it was excellent--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The salad that came with the dinner was fresh and crisp, not wilted at all. We also tried the cracker-thin crust pizza, and it was fantastic. The sauce had a subtle sweetness that I'm not normally used to, but it paired perfectly with the salty cheese and created a great balance of flavors. Overall, this was a great experience with delicious food and friendly, passionate service. I'll definitely be back. read more

Let me tell you, this pizza is the stuff dreams are made of! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked dough and melted cheese had me floating on air. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, yet delightfully chewy on the inside. The sauce? Oh, it was a symphony of tangy and sweet, with just the right amount of seasoning. And the toppings? Fresh, generous, and oh-so-delicious. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more. If you haven't tried this pizza yet, what are you even doing with your life? Five stars, no question! read more
