Tried this restaurant out for the first time yesterday..The prices for the quality of food was on point. It felt like elevated casual. The menu was not extensive but what they do seems to be all good. The vibe in the restaurant was very chill and the lighting and accents were all very clean and streamline. The view of the golf course at sunset was very pretty to look at as well (especially after the storm passed). The service was very attentive and everyone was very nice, even with being busy with a couple large parties that were there. We ordered the baked goat cheese and Marinara appetizer and it was so good. The crispy sourdough bread it came with was great. I had the chicken Tribella and the herb au jus was DELICIOUS! Also all the veggies were cooked perfectly. Only slightly disappointed in the polenta (seemed a bit too crunchy on the outer layer) but I added a little bit of the goat cheese to it and it added a great flavor and texture to it. My boyfriend ordered the Tap Burger and it was very good. The combo of Angus chuck and short rib in the patties was really tasty. We didn't try any of their specialty cocktails or drafts but the variety looked decent. Definitely would recommend and will be going back to try all different items!

LOVEEEE THIS PLACE. My fiancée and I had a horrible day today and decided to spontaneously come to this place. Claudia was the sweetest and was able to get us in even right before they closed. The place is beautiful, private, and perfect. The FOOD WAS AMAAAZING kisses to the chef! My fiancée LOVES it here + it was his birthday. We loved our first experience here and WILL come back to order the whole menu next time. THANK YOU TO THE WONDERFUL STAFF!

Had a wonderful Valentine's dinner with my husband! We sat at the bar and received exceptional service from Sal. This place never disappoints, and we always enjoy our time here. The staff is so friendly and truly enhances the overall experience.

Summary: Excellent food in a beautiful setting with great service. Greenway Tap is the new restaurant/ bar at The Preserve at Oak Meadows. Although The Preserve is dedicated to golf, they have created a beautiful restaurant and bar. The full menu is limited and served Wednesday through Sunday but there is something for everyone. I prefer restaurants that execute a handful of items very well as opposed to dozens of mediocre dishes. Greenway Tap gets high marks for execution. We sat on the beautiful patio that overlooks the expansive golf course. It's peaceful and far from loud traffic. We started with the Mezze Platter ($11) which is a great appetizer filled with olives, roasted peppers, artichokes, cucumbers and other vegetables, pita triangles, hummus and tzatziki sauce. You get a lot to nibble on. It's plenty for 2-3 people to snack on but almost too much if you are going to order entrees. Speaking of entrees, I ordered the grilled beef tenderloin. It comes with a spring green salad and the tenderloin is accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes, asparagus and green beans. It was cooked perfectly medium rare. ($26). I'm a fan of the tenderloin medallions trio at a famous restaurant that charges significantly more and your sides are ala carte. The beef tenderloin at Greenway is not only delicious and well prepared, it's probably the best value on the menu. My dining partner ordered the burrito bowl ($12) and added a portobello mushroom to the mix. You have the option of adding chicken or grilled salmon as well. I had a small bite of the portobello and it was very good. She loved her meal and felt it was a nice healthy alternative. Greenway Tap has an extensive beer and wine list, much more than you would expect at a typical golf course restaurant. Many of the beers listed are from local craft brewers. Beverage prices are average. Finally, our server Jamie was excellent. He was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Greenway Tap is a destination restaurant if you are looking for excellent food in a peaceful and beautiful setting, especially if you are into "al fresco" dining.

Finished with the chocolate mouse. It was devine. The farmers burger was very juicy and tasted so good. We're coming back.

First time here. The dining area is a modern decor with beautiful dark wood and soaring windows with a beautiful view of the golf course. The menu has something for everyone. We started off with cheese curds with a chipotle ranch dip. Very good. I had the special tonight which was a Macadamia nut crusted Florida Basa. Amazing. BF had a burger and potato salad and reported that it was delicious. Good wine list, bottles are reasonably priced and a good beer list too. For the quality of the food, it's also very reasonable. I'd highly recommend.

No complaints about parking or the walk. Boom, we were there. Now, where it gets interesting. You walk in the building's front door, and it opens up to a room where you can access several businesses. Josephine's is straight to the back. It's very dark, smelly, and loud. This totally reminded me of a dive bar on a college campus (maybe worse?). There's not much seating, especially when it gets crowded. The bar has limited seating, and the seating on the floor is even more limited. The chairs and couch are stained with who knows what. The song books for karaoke are sticky and nasty. From a great perspective, I was sitting in a chair and went to move and felt something poke me. It was a pair of random scissors! The drinks are 2/5 and prices are extremely expensive. I had a root beer float martini, and it was "meh". From a karaoke standpoint, it was decent. Lots of different people singing. Some good, some bad. It was entertaining, and some people were pretty brave, haha. Try this place if you dare. Get here early to get a seat. I don't think I'd come back. Once is enough.

I also liked the reviews by Chicago people who said it was as good as places in the city (yes I used to live in the city and miss it.) Greeted warmly by staff and got a seat in the bar area seating (as opposed to the main seating area which I'll try next time) but this was perfect as Bears and Packers Pt 1 was on tv which was fun to observe but too much was happening at our table for me to really focus on them. The server was smart, funny and super attentive without being overly so and when she didn't know what wine to recommend she sent over a sommelier who set us up with a nice Italian vintage. We started with the mussels. These were ok. Seemed slightly pre-made but this was the only small knock on our entire fantastic meal. Next course was the Pasta: we selected the Rolled Eggplant with ricotta and mozz on top. Got it with "easy cheese" and it was perfectly sumptious and had the exact easy cheese as requested. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and was so very tasty. On the main course, if you've never had Veal this is the place to try it. I love a good Veal Milanese or Parmesan and the Milanese was perfect! Breaded, lightly pan fried with Arugula, large shavings of Parmesan cheese and a properly cooked Polenta side. Delicious! The meal ended with a homemade fluffy, light, exquisite Tiramisu to send us both home very satisfied and happy. Thank you Positano family!
