Regular #2 on rosemary parm ($8): provolone, ham, cappaculo. Ask for it done "Mike's Way" with pepper relish!

A WELL-OILED & VINEGAR'D MACHINE Teamwork makes the dream work at this Jersey Mike's Subs. I've been a fan of this sandwich chain for some time now, having frequented the locations in Franklin Park (on Mannheim Rd) and Bolingbrook (on Weber Rd). This one is in Addison on Lake St, just east of I-355. A regular sub is $8. They offer a 'mini' for lighter appetites at $6 but it's honestly not a great value.  If you're starving and/or sharing with a friend, consider ordering a 'giant' for $14. You can make it a meal combo with chips + drink for $3.79. I've grown to love their #2 (Jersey Shore favorite--provolone, ham, and cappacuolo) on rosemary parmesan bread. There's the usual assortment of condiments to pick from, though I always ask for it prepared "Mike's Way"--with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar & olive oil, dry seasonings.  I also request extra mayo and a big smear of red pepper relish!  That stuff is DYNAMITE on a cold sub, though it can amplify just about anything you put it on. As I was topping off my drink and leaving, I overheard a manager commending his staff on getting through a successful lunch rush.  He said it with such conviction, I could tell that he loved his job and appreciated his employees. He even took the time to mention specific team members by name, which was heartwarming to see. I couldn't disagree more with the other reviewer, 'Mikey M'. What kind of angry shithead literally says "(this) is a great place" and has the balls to give a 1* review? For him, perhaps "Mike's Way" is complaining and being a douche, but who knows what goes through the mind of an internet troll? * TL;DR * Finding a decent sub sandwich isn't hard; pick up a rock and throw it in any direction and you're bound to hit a Subway or Jimmy John's. Finding a sub prepared by a team -- emphasis on TEAM -- of diverse staff in a cheerful work environment is far less common. The overflowing positivity in this place almost brought me to tears. Generally speaking, Jersey Mike's is very good. This one is excellent. I'd be delighted to give them patronage in the future.

The sandwiches from the case are especially amazing, and change every day so you always get to try something new. Their soups are excellent, their pizza is pretty good. i've been coming here for 25 years, never had a problem. i'd like to address some of the one star reviews I saw below don't listen to them, every now and then you get crazy people that leave crazy reviews, this is a five star sandwich shop trust me One of the reviews, the girl ordered only a salad and complained about the price not understanding that this is a family owned place so everything's gonna be a little bit more expensive than McDonald's or whatever you're used to, because it's good quality food. A couple of the reviews, they talked about bad customer service for being put on hold. For those of us who have worked in a restaurant, you know sometimes it gets busy, let me tell you these guys get SLAMMED around lunchtime as they're literally the best place to eat in town for miles. And so around noon, expect to wait a long time, because they're really really really really busy. in fact, whenever I eat here, I try to make it by 11, and if I can't make it by then, I wait until 1pm cause it just gets soooo busy. if you're an impatient person, that just wants to be angry at everybody and lacks empathy than go eat somewhere else; you won't fit in with the chill family vibe here if you love, family values, supporting good people, excellent food, and a nice place to sit down and have a bowl of soup and a sandwich in peace. You'll love this place, you'll be a repeat customer like me. thanks for reading, God bless Pat

You get 7 shrimp, homemade skinny fries, which I love, and some slaw, which I wound up throwing away, because it tasted exactly like Jewels, which I dislike! The bread was nice and soft on the sandwich, meatballs were small and too much garlic! Definately not as good as my Sunday balls!

The place itself is incredibly inviting, all warm wood, cozy corners, very Bavarian lodge meets Polish soul. It was busy and buzzing, and Polish was the main language at nearly every table... except ours, which was happily bilingual in Spanish. It felt authentic, lively, and full of life. The service was friendly, fun, and patient, guiding us through the menu with enthusiasm. We shared a feast: pelmeni, Highlander-style pork shank, kiszka, Real Man's Meatballs (Męskie Klopsiki), and other delicious goodness that made the table groan (in the best way). Every dish was hearty, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. It was also my birthday, and just when I thought the night couldn't get better, the staff surprised me with dessert and sang Happy Birthday in Polish. I loved it. Big smiles, full heart. The food was so good that I stayed behind afterward to order takeout for my husband, stuffed cabbage (gołąbki) and pierogi, because sharing joy is important... and leftovers are sacred. U Gazdy isn't just a meal, it's an experience. One that fills your belly, warms your spirit, and makes you want to come back hungry.

I was disappointed that you cannot get blintzes or pierogis during the week, but what we did try was very good: Cabbage rolls (be sure to ask for sauce) - Pretty flavorful, although if I'm being honest I think the cabbage rolls at the Polish Delicatessen in Glendale Heights are better. Vegetable soup - Soooo good and affordable too. Much better than anything you can get at the store, even in their deli departments. Potato pancakes - The single best potato pancakes we've ever had. So much flavor! I want more just thinking about them. I'm looking forward to coming back on the weekend so we can try the blintzes and pierogi. Visit date: 10/24

Everyone there was super super helpful and my biggest complaint is how far it is from home (this is the closest one and is a 45 minute drive on a good day). The deli has a fantastic array of meats and cheeses, all we had were so fresh. Love the true Italian assortment. Even chunks of prosciutto (maybe left over from slicing) that we took to cube in dishes. Real Romano Parmigiano from the wheel and so much more. I love their antipasto or olive bar. Very fresh and great selection. If you're looking to try different olive oils, they had an interesting selection. I'm very particular and tried two bottles. One was a grand slam, and one tasted off. Their selection of pastas is very good and their canned tomatoes looks great. I wish they had more 14oz cans especially of the San Marzano types. Their fish selection is NOT huge, but what they had seemed fresh. Just not a lot put out. It could be this is to keep it fresh and it was in back. Their meat selection is good but again, I am not sure they had all the high end (prime) type cuts. We didn't ask as we don't eat a lot of meat. Their fruit and vegetables looked so fresh and everything was competively priced. We loved the selection and quality. We will be back- but due to the distance, can't make it our weekly run.
