Regular #2 on rosemary parm ($8): provolone, ham, cappaculo. Ask for it done "Mike's Way" with pepper relish!

A WELL-OILED & VINEGAR'D MACHINE Teamwork makes the dream work at this Jersey Mike's Subs. I've been a fan of this sandwich chain for some time now, having frequented the locations in Franklin Park (on Mannheim Rd) and Bolingbrook (on Weber Rd). This one is in Addison on Lake St, just east of I-355. A regular sub is $8. They offer a 'mini' for lighter appetites at $6 but it's honestly not a great value.  If you're starving and/or sharing with a friend, consider ordering a 'giant' for $14. You can make it a meal combo with chips + drink for $3.79. I've grown to love their #2 (Jersey Shore favorite--provolone, ham, and cappacuolo) on rosemary parmesan bread. There's the usual assortment of condiments to pick from, though I always ask for it prepared "Mike's Way"--with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar & olive oil, dry seasonings.  I also request extra mayo and a big smear of red pepper relish!  That stuff is DYNAMITE on a cold sub, though it can amplify just about anything you put it on. As I was topping off my drink and leaving, I overheard a manager commending his staff on getting through a successful lunch rush.  He said it with such conviction, I could tell that he loved his job and appreciated his employees. He even took the time to mention specific team members by name, which was heartwarming to see. I couldn't disagree more with the other reviewer, 'Mikey M'. What kind of angry shithead literally says "(this) is a great place" and has the balls to give a 1* review? For him, perhaps "Mike's Way" is complaining and being a douche, but who knows what goes through the mind of an internet troll? * TL;DR * Finding a decent sub sandwich isn't hard; pick up a rock and throw it in any direction and you're bound to hit a Subway or Jimmy John's. Finding a sub prepared by a team -- emphasis on TEAM -- of diverse staff in a cheerful work environment is far less common. The overflowing positivity in this place almost brought me to tears. Generally speaking, Jersey Mike's is very good. This one is excellent. I'd be delighted to give them patronage in the future.

The restaurant bar is in the bottom floor of the center and has a walk out basement feel to it. The dining room is large and open, line with TVs playing various sport programs. Outside is a beautiful patio with large fire pit that they light at night. The menu is limited with only 4 sandwiches and a couple entries plus apps. I ordered carry-out dinner of the Turkey Club Sandwich, which comes with a side (I chose Caesar salad) and I also got the Truffle Fries, which are to die for. The Turkey Club was large in delicious chewy Italian toast with a tomato aioli sauce. The sandwich had plenty of turkey, crispy bacon, perfectly ripe avocado and lettuce and tomato. It was delicious. The generous portion of Caesar salad was very good as well. The Truffle fries are delicious. They are covered with garlic and parmesan and severed with an aioli dipping sauce. The portion is large and easily shared among several people. The service is fairly fast. About 10 minutes. There is plenty of free parking and the complex is quiet and remote. I'll definitely return.

On top of the incredible food, the owner was so kind and welcoming -- attentive the entire time and even brought us a little treat to try since it was our first visit. You can truly feel the passion and love behind this place. Roselle needed a spot like this! It feels like a hidden gem with a little cult following already, and now I completely understand why. As a…read morerefresher, we have a ton of world cuisines written on slips of past in a jar (and some regional) and once a week we pick one, and check it out. In an unsuspecting strip mall that backs up to the Metra rail tracks, you'll find the Roselle location of Cubano Bros. A very simple layout, order at the counter - wait for your food. or eat in the adjacent dining area. Decor was fantastic, especially in this gross dreary not-winter-but-not-spring weather today, with a bright blue wall and beautiful photo/wallpaper and a cherry red car grill. Started with the Kola and the café con leché while we waited for our food. When the beef pastry was ready, it was brought out immediately. I was expecting something kind of like a Jamaican beef patty, but this was more like a delicate croissant like pastry with some very delicious beef inside. It was so good. Then our meals arrived. We had the Cubano, of course which was on point. Bread was amazing. And i had the ropa véjo bowl - which frankly i could eat every day of my life and never tire of it. We also had a side order of tostones. They were good, probably would get another beef pastry instead next time. This is one of those places that also makes me wish sometimes, only sometimes, that I did go into the office instead of work from home because I would stop here on a regular basis for the coffee and their breakfast options. The service was super friendly and not over bearing whatsoever. So to end this like I end these on my Instagram, based on the food alone, will I add Cuba to bucket list of places I'd like to visit (if we are able to visit there again)? Yes!

I walked in and they had a decent amount of space to dine in. It felt like your mom and pop shop which I liked. The cashier who I felt was the owner was so nice to me even tho I was not dressed to impress. I just felt the genuine kindness from his heart. I ordered my bf the Gyro and my thick lovely self had a bacon cheeseburger and we split the fries. Im so happy to report that the burger was delicious and had everything on it, grilled onions, tomato, bacon, mustard etc. The gyro I honestly didn't care for but my bf smashed it! He ate the whole thing! Damn near ate the wrapper! lmbo I am not kidding. So based of his review Im going to say it was good and the fries were shoestring and fried a little soft to my liking but they were still good since I ate all of mine. I sadly didn't take any pics since my order was to go but Honestly I think it's worth the try and I would be back to try something different.

I was treating my parents for my dad's birthday month (My daughter has a lot of activities, lol) and the menu appeared to have something for everyone. The 22 minute drive to Itasca was so worth it! The restaurant, which is open to the public, is on the same property as the Itasca Country Club, which is not open to the public. You go down the stairs, through the developing pizza bar, and to the restaurant. The restaurant space itself is cozy, with beautiful, natural lighting, and lots of seating options. We were asked booth or table and seated right by the picture window with beautiful views of their ice rinks and golf course. The food was above and beyond my expectations! Between the 5 people at the table, I sampled the French Onion soup, Sweet & Spicy Brussels, Bacon Smash Burger, Pot Roast Grilled Cheese, Sweet Tees (Donut Holes), Peanut Butter Smore-o, and Verde Dulce. The soup was not salty as I find some iterations, the brussels had complex flavors with hot honey, bacon, candied pistachios, and crumbled feta. The pot roast grilled cheese was very flavorful, but my boyfriend did state he wished the sandwich had more meat in it. The Sweet Tees donut holes were cooked to perfection without being oily and the jam accompaniment was a perfect texture and level of sweet. The Peanut Butter Smore-o was creamy and decadent with its perfectly ratioed layers of ganache, peanut butter mousse, Oreos, and whipped cream. The Verde Dulce, though, was the delicious classic olive oil cake with pistachio gelato & that throwback of candied pistachios from my appetizer. Even better than the food, our server, Kara, was one of the sweetest, most attentive human beings! She answered all of our questions, refilled our fountain drink and iced tea glasses when they were at 75% without prompting, made sure my dad felt celebrated with a candle, etc. Her teammate who was in charge of clearing our table was also prompt and I appreciate her asking what plates she could take. Overall, it was a beautiful late morning/early afternoon with delicious food and impeccable service. 10/10 recommend!!!

The outdoor patio overlooking the golf course is absolutely beautiful--relaxing, scenic, and the kind of place that makes you feel like you're on vacation. Even on a busy Thursday evening, the atmosphere was lively without ever feeling hectic. Our server, Jordyn, was outstanding. She looked young, but don't let that fool you--she was completely on top of everything. We were a party of six that couldn't decide what we wanted, laughed way too loudly, and probably tested her patience more than once. She handled us with grace, humor, and a smile the entire time. Somewhere along the way we started calling her "Wednesday" from The Addams Family, and she rolled with it perfectly. Great sense of humor and fantastic service. The food was excellent. The Crispy Eggplant Salad was absolutely phenomenal--fresh, flavorful, and easily large enough to share between two people. The burger was cooked perfectly, the cocktails were outstanding, and everything arrived promptly. The bar staff also deserve a shout-out. They were welcoming from the moment we arrived, made great eye contact, acknowledged everyone immediately, and had drinks in our hands in no time. That's the kind of hospitality that makes people want to come back. Fox & Turtle has the rare combination of great food, attentive service, excellent drinks, and a beautiful setting. It's the kind of place you expect to find inside an exclusive club, yet thankfully it's open for everyone to enjoy. We'll definitely be back.
