Individual lunch box lunch. Love it. I ordered egg salad and a side of Quinoa salad. The box it came in was cardboard ensuring lunch was not squished. I so appreciate that. My egg salad was tasty and not overly "mayonnaised". Nice thick hearty bread with some lettuce and avocado. The sandwich was a hefty portion, I could only eat 1/2. The pickle, nice and crunchy was in a separate baggie to not leak on the other products. Nice touch! The quinoa salad, my side choice but there are others, had a light vinaigrette with onions, peppers and other veggies. Enjoyable. A soft chocolate chip cookie in plastic was perfect ending to the delicious lunch. They even put in a mustard and mayonnaise packet if you need along with plastic utensils and napkins. (10/5/2021) had Apple Spice Junction box lunches delivered at work. Quality was standard corporate catering, middle of the road. Sandwich seemed like it had absorbed a whole lot of chemical ambience from its plastic wrap, smelled strongly of vinyl chloride. Chicken Salad was a like "tangy" and not from pickles. Probably not made day of. Mushroom Bisque was very thick and when cool, kind of putty-like, over salted. Ordering was easy, plenty of options if you have a large and varied group. read more

I absolutely love this place...the staff is amazing and so accommodating. We use them quite often and they are so accommodating. At 10 am and one of my VPs forgot he needed lunch for 18 people at noon, and they told me they will make it happen, and this is with delivery. I know it's because I use them a lot but this is why we use them. The sandwiches and salads are always fresh and delicious, and they have a great variety of food to choose from. The staff is always friendly and willing to provide new ideas, However I love the broccoli and cheddar soup along with the roast beef sandwich. I can't say that anything I've ever eat there is badd I just absolutely can't brag about how awesome of the broccoli cheddar soup is. Great little American style deli, a couple miles outside of downtown Orlando. Tucked away in a little plaza, this is a nice little gem. I decided on a healthier eating this day. Very clean inside, cozy, friendly wait staff. The menu consists of healthy sandwiches on either sourdough or 13 grain breads. A nice selection of deli style sandwiches, soups, and salads. I decided on the roast beef, which came with Swiss and cheddar cheese, leafy greens, finished off with mayo and spicy brown mustard on sourdough. Very good, the roast beef was juicy and tender. A small side of tart potato salad and a chocolate chip cookie. I would definitely recommend this place for a lighter and healthier eating alternative. read more

This place is great when you want some yummy, fresh, deli cuisine. Their homemade soups are really good, but what really keeps me coming back for more is their freshly-baked bread! They have a nice assortment of sandwiches and salads as well, so finding at least one thing you like on the menu shouldn't be a problem. My two favorite soups are the broccoli & cheddar and chicken tortilla. I usually will get them in a bread bowl, since you already know how much I like their bread! And when I'm in a salad mood, I like ordering the sliced chicken. What's great about the salads is that they still give you some of their fresh-baked bread on the side. YUM! I will say this though: there were a few times where I've had issues with my salads being too soggy or wilted, but honestly, counting the number of times I've eaten here, the good always outweighs the bad. What's nice is that you can do delivery, take-out or simply eat-in. And if you're looking for someone to cater your events, they do that too! My company likes to order from them a lot and we rarely have complaints when we do. So try it out, if you're looking for some "good food when you need it." read more

Would give them 5 stars for the quality of their food, but there phone service really deserves 1 star. The boxed lunches are a great value for what you get and they are packaged very nicely. They have a nice variety of items on the menu for boxed lunches to meet all of my office's need. It's such a shame that their phone service is sooo poor!!!! If it was better, my office would probably order from them 1-2 times a week every week, but we hate dealing with their phone staff and the online ordering doesn't give us the option to customize the boxes the way we need. read more

If I can give it more stars, I would. This is our 3rd time using Apple Spice for our meetings at our company. They have catered to our Board members and executive team and it's been nothing but amazing (these are picky people too). I've placed and paid for the order by phone, they confirm with you a day later and have everything ready for you. Arthur, the gentleman that delivers the food is great. He sets up everything and I mean EVERYTHING (plates, utensils, napkins, butter etc) for you. Once everyone is done, all you have to do is call and he comes to get everything. The pricing is very reasonable for catering averaging $10-$13 per person. Their customer service is outstanding. Will continue using them! read more

I have used Apple Spice Junction several times to cater work-related lunches, and have always been pleased. It is a nice change of pace from your typical Panera lunch, and pricing is competitive. This location is hidden inside a small office park, so it's a little tricky to find. But once you find your way there, it's worth it. The dining room is extremely clean and spacious, probably due to the fact that the majority of their business is catering rather than walk-ins. The service was very quick and friendly, and the food was good. They have a wide array of sandwiches, so you're sure to find something tasty. My only complaint is that the bread slices, while soft and flavorful, are extremely thick (think Texas Toast size). So it can make the sandwich seem a little dry. But if you are a fan of the bread, they sell full loves for just $1...not a bad deal at all! Apple Spice Junction is a nice change of pace for lunch if you're in the area, or if you need an event catered. read more

Our office ordered in for lunch today and all I can say is meh. The chef salad that I ordered consists of lettuce, spinach, egg, and turkey/ham. Where is the tomatoes and cucumbers? Is this place a food truck? What reputable restaurant serves a chef salad without cucumbers and tomatoes? The ranch is green and I'm not sure why since I ordered a signature ranch, I guess the signature is green? I'd like to know what causes it to be green, because it doesn't have a hint of cucumber or avocado. Other than it being green, The ranch is obviously homemade because it's too salty and tastes like mayo. Since it's free I will be eating the salad. The smell in here is great and the food unique. It's in an unexpecting part of central florida with not much around but is definitely a gem. The ambience is great and the people friendly. Definitely recommend it! The soups are to die for .. like they were made from scratch. And secretly - It's Tasty Too - that makes wedding/events wedding cakes and cupcakes works out of there, too witht he most amazing designs and cakes... have to try it! My husband and I were looking for a caterer for our wedding last year and came across Apple Spice as one of the preferred vendors that Orlando Science Center likes to use. I'd never heard of if and while it is in a hard-to-find spot, it is totally worth it! John Boone, the owner, met with us for a consultation. He took us on a tour of the kitchen to show us how everything is made fresh (huge points for this!) and he even gave us samples of the amazing fresh bread. Long story short, John did an outstanding job, and their food is phenomenal! I've since taken coworkers back there for lunch and John's continued to show amazing service and friendliness. Well how can I say this? I went to the Junction and ordered a BLT. The bacon was crisp, lettuce crisp, tomato sweet and bread might tasty. I added my condiments to my BLT. IT was nice and crispy, juicy and very tasty. I had cut my sandwich and ate half. I started on my second half, took a big bite and a chewing I go with a smile on my face. I ordered lunch for a work meeting from Apple Spice and was super excited to see free delivery on their menu, but when I looked at the receipt I noticed I was charged $5.82 for delivery!!! I ordered for the first time today for lunch and got the herbed chicken sandwic. it was the WORST sandwich I have ever had. It was cold and literally a piece of swiss cheese, lettuce, and chicken. The pesto mayo was placed on the side. The chicken tasted like an entire bottle of oregano was dropped on it. The bread was thick and so cold. I have had southwest and chicken curry salads, both excellent. I've had this place cater to my office a couple of times too, and it has always been tasty and popular. I have ordered their chili and did not think much of it; it was a bit sweet and not near spicy enough for my tastes. The physical location is a little tricky to find, and doesn't look like a place you would find a restaurant, but it's worth hunting down. There's a few tables inside, and it would get a bit cozy if more than a few people showed up, but it seems to do more to-go and catering business than dine in business. read more

They took 2 hours from when I ordered to deliver even though they said 45 minutes. The food is mediocre. They dropped off sample lunches to my office and everyone was raving about them. I am into a keto lifestyle and they actually offer options that keep me on track with my macros. They even offer a low carb bread. It's hard to steer clear from their dessert options because they always look and smell delicious. They also deliver if your feeling too lazy too drive. Great honey wheat flavor and you could smell how fresh the bread was just taking the sandwich out of the box. I only give it 4 stars because of the brownie I ordered extra. The variety of sandwiches, the salads and the drinks were great. The pink lemonade was just wonderful. Where did they get flavorful tomatoes this time of year? Fruit salad - tasty chunks of pineapple with the normal mix that was fresh, fresh, fresh. The desserts were great too. The lemon bar was so good! If you are looking for a caterer for lunch, then look no further. My family is planning to go to Winter Garden to try their deli. The food is delicious, real, homemade and often organic, MUCH, especially the homemade breads, is DAIRY-FREE!!! How hard is it to find good dairy-free food for lunch!!!! If you like Panera you will LOVE this place! Much better IMO. Lots of interesting selections, and a complete meal (a meal you can be proud and excited to eat) for $8. Just the sandwich for $5 and change (compare to Burger King's $5 Whopper (yuck, but money-wise, lol) They have a club card as well, which makes it an even sweeter deal- and when I bought two meals at one time, I got two punches, not just one for the trip.
