The only reason I am giving Apple Leasing a full 5 stars is because I cannot give it 10. Back in December, 2014 I went into Apple and spoke with Joe W. about a possible trade in of my car for a lease. There was nothing wrong with my car, however with 125,000 miles on it, I had a feeling it was only a matter of time before something went wrong with it. I just wanted out of my car. I was sick of it. I still owed 3K and did not have a clean title because of an accident from 2012. Because of that, Joe could only give me the 3K to pay off my note, with $0 left over for a down payment on a lease. After speaking with Joe several times about options, and after much deliberation, I was almost considering Leasing a car that was more than what I had set as my limit. Instead of trying to nudge me to do the sale, Joe countered and said "Look, I don't want you to do something that is going to put you in a bad position. I know you want out of this car, but your best bet is to hold off for now. Drive your car as long as you can, keep making your payments, and see how it goes. Check back with me if you need anything." I thought it was strange for a car salesman to not go for the sale..."He's telling me to wait?!?" He was very genuine and I appreciated his up front, no BS approach so I agreed. 8 months later, the inevitable happened and my check engine light came on. Upon inspection, my mechanic said I was very low on oil due to several small leaks that would cost quite a bit in parts and labor to fix. In addition, I needed $600 of alignment work (result of the aforementioned accident) and 2 new back tires @ $250. I added oil and 2 tires for safety, and told my mechanic to hold on the rest for now. Then I went back to Joe. Being 8 months later, and about 10,000 miles more on my car, I was not expecting anything great. I now only owed $1700 but I would be surprised if I could get $2000. But I wasn't about to drop over $1000 on my car either. I was a little more flexible with Joe on my car selection this time around and he went to work. Not only did Joe spend a total of 6 hours with me, driving me to a couple of dealerships and accompanying me for test drives, paperwork, etc. but he STILL gave me the original $3000 for my trade he had quoted me way back in December! I was able to pay off the note and had enough left over that I was able to drive off that day in a brand new car that I LOVE, with no down payment and no payments for 2 months! He also threw in free window tinting as an added bonus. Who DOES THAT?? I could go on and on, but I'll end with this: Joe W at Apple Leasing is a CLASS ACT. In spending the day with him, we actually got to talking about many topics, not just cars. He is a genuinely great guy who cares about his customers and people as a whole. He is passionate and knowledgeable about his work which he has done for 35+ years and it shows. Every car salesman should learn a thing or 2 from him. You need to call Justin from Apple Leasing. I searched all over Texas for a certain Jeep in a certain color and certain options. I was very particular about what I wanted and so I was spending a lot of time looking. When I would call and ask about values for leasing, every dealer was giving me a different number, even though they all claim to use Chrysler Capital. Some blow up the rates for a profit and some say rates so low only to make false hopes. I knew what the values were and only asked to test if they would lie. Well, one dealer said the number I was looking for but then said the Jeep I saw wasn't in stock. So I was stuck THEN I FOUND JUSTIN! Wow. I did't know what to expect when I called. He has the patience of a saint because I was asking about so many details. Money factors, residual values, gross cap cost, acquisition fees etc... I did my homework. Dealers didn't like me. With Justin, I told him the options I want, he found it, they haggled for me, then the best part, THE RATES WERE BETTER THAN CHRYSLER CAPITAL'S (What you use if you lease through a dealership). No pressure, STRAIGHT FORWARD ANSWERS. You have a question, he will answer, guide you if you want guidance and help with new ideas. Tell you the good and bad and let you decide. Process: They find what you want (from anywhere at least in Texas), haggle for you, Justin will call you with the numbers; if you agree, go to Apple Lease, say hi to the friendly and helpful staff, sign, and go! (I had Justin email me the contract I will be looking at so I know what to expect when I get there). If you don't agree with the numbers then work with Justin to try something else. Again, no pressure, no haggling. Any questions I have in the future or if I want to switch leases, I just call him up and he's there. This review is long but there is so much to say about this seamless process because it's a new experience for me. I suggest you just call Justin from Apple Leasing and just ask what they have to offer and the process. Can't hurt to just ask! You're welcome. We are now onto our third lease vehicle with Apple Leasing. So here's the skinny; You only pay for the portion of the vehicle you lease, which is the "new part". What's even better, is that my wife and I picked vehicles with higher resale value, which in turn computes into a lower monthly lease. How can that be you ask, with such intrigue? We only pay for the part we lease, remember? I am currently leasing a truck, and my wife is in a new SUV, with all the bell and whistles. We are both in 4 year leases with the great help of Joe Wilwerding, from Apple Leasing. With a simple phone call to Joe, I explained what I was looking for, he called me back with leasing numbers later that day. From there, we test drove two vehicles Joe had them brought to the office, and we made our selection. All of this without having to drive all over town, chasing away sales persons in poor quality suit jackets.... I was a little suspicious when we got into the first lease, simply because it was unknown territory for us. Once we realized it wasn't a scam with big $$ payouts at the end, I was sold, or leased as it were.... Not sure we will ever go back to buying, but if we want, we always have the option to buy the vehicle we are in at the end of the lease, or simply turn it in, and get something shiny and new again. Now for the tough question; why would I not lease? Only if I were driving a lot of miles per year, because again, you pay for the portion you use. More miles means a bigger lease payment. We average 12,000 a year, so it makes good sense for us. If it does for you too. Give them a call. In fact, Joe has so many contacts in the car business, we ended up leasing our SUV from a dealership in San Antonio, because they were willing to work within our budget! The Austin dealership wasn't hungry enough... They drove the car up from S.A. for us to test drive here! Where else can you get that kind of service! I hope you found this review helpful. Our experience with Apple Leasing was exceptionally good. From my initial phone call, with Buddy Wall, to the delivery of our vehicle I could not find one complaint. My wife and I were in the market to upgrade her existing SUV to one with a 3rd row and more features. We knew we wanted the 2014 Ford Explorer and quickly worked with Buddy to arrange a test drive. Since we worked at two separate offices Buddy quickly offered to meet us at our house in the early evening so we can both test drive the car and meet together. This was the first point where I knew Apple, and Buddy, would go above and beyond. Fast-forward a few days and we finally settled upon the terms of the lease. Unfortunately the dealership that was holding our "perfect car" sold it before Apple could take delivery. Buddy immediately found a comparable one (different color interior, but auto lift-gate to make up for it) and rushed to pick it up. Again, Buddy offered to meet us at our house that evening to take delivery of the new vehicle and pick up our trade. Unfortunately our son fell ill and was at the doctor's office much later into the evening than we anticipated. While I offered to meet with Buddy the following day he politely declined and said that he had no qualms waiting for my wife and son to get home even re-arranging his own personal plans. I have never had a dealership work that closely with us and make the test drive, negotiations, and delivery of a vehicle as painless as Buddy did. I thank him, and the staff at Apple Leasing, for helping us get into a great car for great terms. I look forward to working with him in the future when it is time for me to upgrade my car. read more

My experience with Apple Leasing has been wonderful! I had a new ride within a day and no hours wasted sitting at the dealership! It was time for me to get something new because my 13 year old truck to be repaired which was something I was choosing not to fix. I was done taking my auto to the shop! I had a colleague suggest Apple Leasing because she's had nothing but good things to say about them. I went online and checked out the used fleet and submitted online a form to see and test drive one of the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe's they had in their inventory. Within minutes, Justin from Apple Leasing called to discuss my situation. At first I was not sure about leasing. My intention was to buy a used auto. Justin educated me on why leasing is a better option. He spoke on points that made sense for my situation. I asked many questions, sometimes the same questions again but a different way but he answered all of them until I understood. Justin really listened to my needs and wants. The process was really effortless compared to the process of going to the dealership to buy a car. He was able to get financing for me. By the end of the day, I was in a brand new 2020 Toyota 4Runner that I truly love. He went through hoops to make sure that I was happy. Had the most awesome experience with Apple Leasing. I was in a bad lease from a Ford dealer which I was going to be over on miles and would have to pay a substantial fee. I chatted with a representative online on a Sunday and she took my info and gave it to Buddy. Buddy was super awesome. He made it so easy. We communicated via email most of the time. He called me only two or three times to clear up some things. Buddy was so patient. We changed our minds on color two or three times. Buddy in the end got us the truck we wanted. But the greatest part was he brought the new truck and paperwork to our home and we spent about 5 minutes on paperwork and that was it. This was the greatest car experience I ever had. We bought a vehicle from Apple Leasing about a year ago. About a month after buying the vehicle we discovered the front passenger floor-board was wet (under the mat). Not just kinda wet...soaked. I'm no mechanic, but I didn't figure it to be a big deal; probably a clogged condensation line. Six trips (totaling about 6 weeks total shop-time) to the MANUFACTURER DEALERSHIP, and they couldn't fix it. I got back in contact with Chris Andre - who was so helpful in originally purchasing the vehicle. Exasperated at this point, I simply explained the situation, and left it with the open-ended question, "What can you guys do?" Chris responded to my email within minutes. About 2 days later we dropped off the problem-vehicle and drove off in another...very happy with the deal. I don't think Apple Leasing knew anything about the problem. How many people feel under the passenger-side floor mat when inspecting a vehicle? I never have. That said, you truly know the essence of a company when an issue arises, and what they do to resolve that issue. Apple Leasing stepped up and helped us take care of an issue that was not of their own creation, nor within their knowledge. That says a lot about this company and the employees that make it up. Scott/Apple was recommended to me by a longtime friend (who always drives a sharp ride), saying that Apple is hands-down, the go-to for leasing a vehicle in Austin. Since leasing was new to me, I wanted to learn more. When we arrived at their office, I spoke with Scott, and then began investigating leasing with Joe Wilwerding. He couldn't have been nicer or more professional. A car business veteran with an impressive career in the Austin market, he knows his stuff. He described the essential benefits and comparisons between leasing (a new vehicle) and buying (a used)--as those were the options I was considering when I arrived. It soon became a clear and easy decision to lease with Apple. Not having to worry about the out-of-pocket maintenance that an older vehicle (with 30k miles) would likely rack-up in the next few years was my pivot point. I'm a stickler for professional, courteous, respectful service. And Apple delivered that with every interaction we had from the initial phone call, to the test drive, to the paperwork. Buyers beware. First a little back story. Yrs ago I bought a lemon from Apple Leasing. Took me months of issues then dealing with the owner Scott to get it figured out. He promised if I ever gave them another chance in the future to buy with them, to let the sales team know he would give a free warranty. LIES. Fast forward....found a nice Armada I loved here and couldn't not try to make it work. Told them what Scott said about the warranty. They could careless. I know, I should have walked away. Then I asked if it had floor mats...of course the sales men says. They rushed the paperwork and came to meet me even to finish out the deal for end of yr. They promised at time of sale to fix a wheel well cover and get me a new key. They kept this car an extra day to "clean" it. Pick up...I already signed. No freakin car mats. Like none. I had to pay for the warranty. BS! I've owned this car almost THREE months and cannot get them to get me a loaner car so they can fix the wheel well and key. Do not buy from them...ever. Lesson learned. I'm sure I will never get said promised items. Total let down. Also it was filthy when I picked it up and the gas tank was on E. I'm super let down by them and I'll keep sharing my experience!!! read more

I usually despise the car buying experience. I have always felt like buying a car was a confrontational experience and usually drove off a car lot feeling like I probably got screwed. I don't have to worry about that anymore. I have now bought two vehicles from Justin Gleichowski at Apple Leasing, and he has made buying a car simple. This week, I emailed him on Monday around noon asking for a very specific car. He found the car I wanted, in the color I wanted, and in the package I wanted. He went above and beyond to make the process painless. The vehicle was ready for delivery in 48 hours. When the vehicle was delivered, and I went to pick it up, I walked into the office at 9:11 in the morning and drove out of the parking lot 26 minutes later in my new car. The paperwork took a fraction of the time it would have at a regular dealership. Everything was prepared beforehand and only required my signatures. The vehicle waiting for me was detailed and the gas tank was full. I am impressed with the customer service and commitment to give the customer exactly what he wants. After researching leasing and specifically Apple Leasing my husband and I decided to take one step closer and make the phone call to Apple Leasing to go over our options. Justin answered our numerous questions regarding their leasing process. He was very attentive and efficient in finding me the exact Toyota Highlander that I wanted. He and the owner Scott met us on a Saturday to test drive the car and again to help us understand the leasing process. We decided that we would give Apple Leasing a try since I typically get a new car every three years. Justin's customer service was and has been top notch! He followed up with us to make sure that the car was to our liking and to remind us of the half price car washes and oil changes. Everyone that we encountered at Apple Leasing was very professional and polite when answering all our questions. The process truly was as simple as it could be and definitely better than the customary haggling and back and forth dance at the dealership. This is our 3rd car experience with Apple Leasing and like others have said before, they make it so easy that I'll never go through a regular dealership again. McCaleb, Gary and Sherry in the back office have all been a pleasure to work with. They are straight forward on pricing and working the best deal for your specific circumstances. We've bought 2 used cars for our kids and I just leased a car through my company. I had been chatting with McCaleb about getting something cool for my 50th so when I saw something that caught my eye and texted him about it, he had pics and specs emailed to me from a dealership in Dallas that was exactly what I was looking for. I had previously asked him about a couple of other expensive vehicles that didn't work out well for a lease as they didn't hold a good residual value and he steered me away from them. This one worked well and we spent a few minutes going over the details and he had his guys picking it up the next morning on a trailer. I had been contemplating upgrading my vehicle situation for over a year. I kept hearing Apple Leasing commercials during my morning drive into work and decided to investigate their website. I finally decided to apply for financing and received a call from Justin the next day. I told him I couldn't really talk easily at work so we began texting. Justin asked what I wanted, asked what I was in currently and after a few suggestions of other vehicles, we decided to keep me in the same vehicle -just on a MAJORLY upgraded scale. As a kid my dad was a car salesman in Houston. I have been around dealerships my entire life. I have family that owns several dealerships in the New England. I used to work at Covert Ford. Wow what a great buying experience!! I had been searching for a used car for some time and first went to a few luxury dealerships in the area that just had a sterile feeling, they didn't trust me and insisted on sitting in the back seat during test drives, or they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. What a difference when I came to Apple Leasing, Joe W. was great!!!! He handed me the keys to the car and said go drive it, I'll be here when you're back, I trust ya. Joe helped me get a great deal on tinting it afterwards and made sure I had alternative transportation while the tint was being performed, and came to my house to complete everything so I didn't have to fight rush hour traffic. He regularly followed up with me to make sure I was happy with the car and enjoying it. There was never any pressure to buy which I really enjoyed. I have officially become an Apple Leasing commercial. My 19 year old Saturn had been on its last legs for several months. At 8:00am today, it would not start. Called Triple A, estimated arrival time, 9:21am. So, I went back inside, got online and started looking at the Apple Leasing website. Found a car I was going to inquire about anyway, filled out the pre-approval paperwork, got annoyed with the bot in chat (seriously, don't use it talk to a person,) and called when they opened at 9:00am. I spoke to Makalib, who was AWESOME! He expedited my loan paperwork and had nearly everything ready to go by the time the guy came to jump my battery. He (Makalib) was not at the location where the car was, so he handed the trad-in and final paperwork to Eric at the Ranch Road location, which is literally on my way to work. I drove to the location, signed all the papers, and was able to get to work in a new (to me) car--ALL IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS! read more

We have never leased from Apple until just recently and are very pleased with the experience. Justin Gleichowski was our leasing consultant and was awesome! My husband had started a new job and had to attend training so he was not as accessible as he normally would have been. Justin was very patient with us and knowing that we needed this truck for work, he worked very diligently until he found exactly what we wanted. We had originally wanted a silver truck and decided in mid-stream that we had rather have a black one. Justin found the truck within a few hours after we changed the color. The truck was perfect! I work in the customer service field and have won many service awards and I can honestly say that Justin went above and beyond!
