Wow, I read these reviews and it looks like folks are all over the map. I had an amazing experience. Here is the ole recap: I needed a car and it was a particularly busy day. I searched around and found what looked to be a great used car on the apple leasing web site. I called and spoke with Gary. Gary was great. I asked him if he felt comfortable (i.e. was the car good enough) to do the deal over the phone and drive it to my office. He said absolutely. We agreed on the price and they brought the car and the paperwork over. The car was in phenomenal condition (as promised) and we did the deal. It was the best car buying experience of my life. tl;dr: Make sure you compare any offer with Apple Leasing with leasing directly through the dealer!!!! I got in contact with Chris at Apple Leasing as my wife and I were in the market for a new car and had never had a leased vehicle before. We wanted to compare the difference between going through a third party (Apple Leasing) and going directly through the dealer. I explained that I was looking to get an Acadia because of the seating arrangement and storage space, and was promptly told that the Acadia has a low residual value and that I should look into a Toyota, Honda, or Nissan. I am always open to new ideas and since this was a first time lease for us, we decided to heed the advice and take a look at these vehicles. None of them matched our needs exactly, so we decided to stick with the Acadia. Our rep with Apple Leasing seemed very determined to change our minds and kept telling us that a Honda Pilot would be better for us. We located an Acadia that we liked and had the GM sales rep provide the Apple rep with the stock number. Apple leasing then contacted us to tell us that the lease payment was going to be over $700, and that the Acadia was on a "stop sale" and there was "no telling when the parts will be available to fix the recall". I was also told by Apple Leasing that GM will "artificially inflate residual values to lower lease payments". This is false because the dealer and Apple leasing both use the same bank (US Bank) for leasing. Frustrated, we decided to work directly through the dealer (Covert GMC) who was able to get us the same exact vehicle on the same lease terms for $500/month, and that even included a couple extra protection options (dings, interior protection, etc) as well as free maintenance for two years, etc.. I'm not sure what the deal here is but it seems that Apple Leasing must make a significant amount of money or some kind of kick back for leasing from particular dealers or manufacturers. If you do decide to work with these guys, make sure you compare whatever they offer you with going directly through the dealer. read more

Just leased my ninth or tenth car thru Apple leasing and realized it's time to tell everyone why. Keith Cansler's name has been in my phone forever. Keith is always friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Just recently, I decided to put him to the test. I found a car at a local dealership that had everything I wanted. I asked the dealership to quote me a lease price. I immediately called Keith to see if he could match it and he did even better. He beat the lease price on that very same vehicle - from the dealer!! That's not the end of the story though. Keith contacted me within a few hours of our verbal agreement to lease the car. He searched an found a vehicle, identical to the one I wanted, at another dealership and the lease amount would be over $100/mo less expensive for the same term - was I interested? I've been driving the car for 2 days and I love it. I don't even know how he saved me the extra money. I just know that I'll keep coming back to Keith at Apple Leasing. I can't even begin to describe how amazing my experience with this company was. I had been referred by a person I trust and was not let down in the slightest. I called on a Friday afternoon around 5pm in my current vehicle at the time. I spoke with Joe W. and told him exactly what I was looking for in about a 10 min conversation. He was out of town, but still took my call and said he would start looking for a vehicle for me first thing in the morning. I get a call from him at 10am the next morning saying he's found the vehicle. AMAZING! Then he takes my personal info to get the lease funded. Says he'll call back in an hour w/ an answer. 20 min later I get a call w/ an approval. I immediately drive down and sign the paperwork, which took no time. The longest thing was changing my insurance, which had nothing to do with Apple. Here's where real customer service and going above and beyond is shown. This was all happening over Memorial Day weekend. My car was actually coming out of a dealer in Dallas. Joe W. actually went up to Dallas on the Sunday before Memorial Day and brought it down on Monday. A holiday! Everybody else is off of work and hanging out at pools and barbecuing, and Joe is bringing me my vehicle. THAT is customer service! They have a customer for life with me now. Just bought a used car from them. Their website is great and their prices are below market. You can look up market price on an independent site like Edmunds.com. I was able to shop without going to the store. When I showed up the car I was interested in was waiting in front for me to test drive. As far as anyone complaining about discovering undisclosed issues with a used car after the sale, you should always get an independent inspection done on a used car before buying one. Check out AutoPI.com for this service. Apple leasing had no problem with me taking the car for several hours so I could get it inspected. A few maintenance items were found and I was able to negotiate a little off the price. Bottom line: the process was easy and their prices are fair. If you hate the idea of haggling and finding a good used car you can just find the car you want on their site, make sure the price compares well to market value at edmunds.com, get it inspected, and, if it passes, buy it as is for the listed price and feel confident you got a good car for a fair price. You can do the whole process in less than a day. I didn't look into financing with them because I've always gotten great rates and service from Austin Telco on my auto loans. read more

'They' say "you should never say never." However, I will most likely NEVER go to a dealership again. Apple Leasing, specifically Buddy Wall, was the BEST decision I've ever made in leasing a car. The process was unbelievably simple (or at least Buddy made it appear that way). My brother called Buddy to see what he could do to help me get out of a HUGE negative equity situation that began in 2012. Buddy, asked questions, asked about needs, payments, etc. There was NO pressure. He told us what Apple could offer and then encouraged us to look at other dealers. We did a LOT of research. I HAD to lease or I would never get out of the negative equity cycle I was in. No one could touch the deal Apple offered. So, we called Buddy and said it's a deal! The car would not be ready for a day, but we really wanted to meet him. Buddy had been so kind. We went to the office (no one really does that any more), and could not have been more impressed with the people there. The people at the front office were happy to see us, offered us water, and made sure we were comfortable. Then Buddy came out to meet us... WHAT A GREAT GUY! He took time to get to know us a little bit and to reassure us that I was making the right choice. He shared about Apple Leasing and the history they have of helping people, and the high rate of return customers they have! Buddy and his wife have been in the Austin area for a very long time and so we knew so many of the same people. It was like a little reunion. Leased our 3rd vehicle today via Apple Leasing. Joe Wilwerding has always been our contact person at Apple and he delivered excellent service, again. This is the most hassle free way to acquire a new car that I am aware of - told Joe what we were looking for and our budget, he suggested several options (some of which we hadn't considered), accompanied on test drive, handled all the paperwork and then delivered the vehicle to our house (same day!). All we had to do was sign. We never had to interact with the dealer. The only thing that stops this from being a 5 star review is that I believe you may be able to find a lower lease payment on same vehicle by going directly through the dealer. Amazing experience! We were faced with an unusual problem. After 14 years in London we were faced with moving our family to Austin. International moves are always tricky, but after being away from the States for so long, we ran into problems we didn't see coming. They are a rip-off company, that will tell the customer any lies to just get your business. They verbal agreement did not match the paperwork - small print. When I complained they tried to strong arm me, by having me talk to the manager along with the sales man. Guess what - the salesman agreed with the manager and told me I was wrong. They are much worse than new car dealership salesman. I finally got the manager to accept position, after showing him that the papers were different and they gave me some going away money. I wanted a somewhat hard-to-get new model (Camaro convertible) - I'd already found the one I wanted locally but the dealership wanted to do the "talk to the finance manager" routine to discuss pricing. A friend suggested Apple - I sent an email from their website, got an immediate response from Buddy, and had the easiest car acquisition ever - a couple of emails, a couple of calls (not more than 10 minutes of time total), and the same car I'd seen at the dealer was waiting for me at their office. This was my husband's and my first time leasing. We didn't want to deal with the hassle of going through a dealer. Plus I wasn't sure what I wanted. Julian helped us by taking us to their other location of pre owned vehicles and I got to test drive some options to consider if I wanted a small SUV or a car. He suggested test driving vehicles to get more of an idea of what I wanted. He was very informative as we had never leased a car. I needed a new car as my 1st car, that I bought used at Carmax 9 years ago, was on its last breaths! They ended up buying my car which I didn't even think was a possibility. This was definitely the opposite of a traumatic experience. Ridiculousy easy and convenient! This is my second experience with Apple Leasing and once again, flawless -- and then some. They truly go above and beyond to make this a simple process. I read the other reviews -- you don't have to 'know someone' there to have a good experience and I guarantee that if you have a concern or an issue arise, the owner Scott Crossett will eagerly make it right. He is not above working with clients directly. Scott is extremely fair and down to earth. Infact, he did more for me than expected. I honestly could not be happier with my experience -- and I am a self proclaimed high maintence type of girl. The entire thing was so easy the first time that I somewhat expected some sort of drama when I turned the car in and got the second car. But nope -- no drama at all.
