When I asked to see the manager, to my dismay one of the people I approached was the manager. I told them I just wanted to BUY an apple tv they blew me off. I LOVE The Apple Store at Arrowhead! Excellent customer service from Nathan and his team! They went out of their way to "make our holiday"!

I walked into the Apple Store at the Arrowhead Mall in Glendale, AZ to buy an IPAD Mini 4. In the past, when you arrived at an Apple Store you were met at the entrance by a Rep who took down your information and put you in the Que. You knew where you were in the Que and eventually a sales rep would find you and sell you what you wanted. BUT this time I walk in and there is NO SALES REP at the entrance. I'm told to go find a table which has an item you want to buy on it and the Rep Assigned to that table will assist you. I'm standing at this table for well over ! HOUR and nobody is helping me until a Rep asks if she can help me. I say YES, I want to buy this IPAD Mini 4. She replies " Oh, then you must go to the table with the IPADs on them. I said pointing to the IPAD I was standing in front of "What is this?". She replies "Ah that's a Demo table; the IPAD Table ins over there" What a joke. What Apple Management PINHEAD decided to change the way they sell things at the store. Everyone around me was confused about the new system. I'll never set foot in an Apple Store again. I will buy their products on line. read more

Ordered battery for iPhone 6 February 7, 2018. Told it would be one month for battery to be available. True statement. Got email that battery was at Arrowhead Store in Glendale, AZ. Made appointment for 11 am. Upon entering the store it was total chaos. I did not see any signs to check in and all associates were busy with customers. I finally asked someone how to check in and he did it then and sent me to a table. I was told it was a 2 hour wait for my battery to be installed. I returned to the store at my assigned pickup time and was told my phone was done and to go stand against a wall in the back corner. He told me it would be another 25 minutes to pick it up. Why they had all these associates there and only one associate delivering completed phones is a bad business practice. The battery replaced was not even charged one bit. I am a 65 year old woman in good shape but leaning on a wall is very tiring. Why the store cannot have comfortable chairs instead of backless crates is beyond me. They need to put in an area so clueless people like me know where to go to get help. Perhaps a check in/information kiosk. The other people waiting like I was grumbled also about bad business practice. I have many Apple products but hope never to have to go to this store again. read more

Worst experience ever in customer experience! I simply wanted the battery tested in my iPhone 6 Plus and it took 5 hours. I didn't have an appointment but the person checking me in told me it'd be about an hour wait. One hour later they told me it'd be two to three hours longer. There were 18 employees on the floor of which 10 were helping customers and the others were talking to another employee. The said they'd text me when i was next and then again when it was my turn and I'd have 15 minutes to get there or text a response back asking for 30 extra minutes. I went home and a couple hours later they texted me. 5 minutes later they texted me saying it was my turn. I responded by asking for the 30 minute extension and went back to the store. On my way (seven minutes after their text saying it was my turn) I got a text saying sorry but I've missed my place in line and hope I come back another time. I still went to the store and they still told me I missed my turn even though I showed them my timely response. Then, while arguing with the rep, I got another text stating my response was received and they'd be waiting for me. I showed the rep this and he agreed to put me next in line. I finally got a 10 second test done to tell me what I already knew, my battery was dead and needed to be replaced. I agreed and they said it'd take 45-60 minutes to complete. I told them I'd wait and exactly where I'd be. 75 minutes later, I finally asked a rep if someone could find out where my phone was. He looked it up and said "It's ready". I asked him how long it has been ready and he went to the back to get it. When he returned, they said it was done within 10 minutes of it going back their because they had a problem and couldn't replace my battery. I asked why no one came out to let me know this and they responded "we texted you to let you know the phone was ready". Seriously? They had my phone!! The rep didn't apologize and said they'd replace my phone for the price of a battery change. I agreed and they started the conversion of data. By the time I got done paying for the new phone, I asked if all the data would be transferred. They said yes from the last time my phone was backed up. I told them to stop because my phone hadn't backed itself up in about a month. They said it was too late as they already wiped my old phone clean. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! read more

I'm not an Apple owner and never wanted to be but today's experience in the Arrowhead store solidified my choice to NEVER deal with Apple. It was awful and I thought I was in the twilight zone. Rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, Beats by Dre are now owned by Apple and I had to go into this awful store to get a replacement for my headphones. I walked in expecting to just get a replacement piece right away since it had only been 5 months since I purchased the $300 headphones.. but that wasn't the case. So the rep, Julian, informed me that I would need to either wait to be seen or make an appointment. While I was in the middle of asking him a question, he rudely started to speak to another person, while I was speaking.. I stopped and waited and then began to ask my question again and another rep walked directly between us instead of walking behind me.. a customer was sitting there witnessing this and was just shaking his head. So I began to ask a question again and Julian for the second time started to talk to another rep.. I asked myself if I was in the twilight zone.. what is going on? I decided I would make an appointment and asked Julian, if I make an appt will I be seen at the appointment time or will I still have to wait.. and I wasn't being funny or rude asking it, I asked because I've set appt times with places before and I get there and still have to wait around.. so I thought i'd ask .. his rude and unprofessional response was.. "I can't read the future".. I was in shock of this rude and unprofessional response. He then proceeded to explain that if they are fully staffed then I shouldn't have to wait but he couldn't be sure. That should have been his explanation in the first place. I had no desire to have to come back to this unprofessional store so I decided to just wait and get it over with. Once my piece comes in, I will NEVER return to this place. And corporate needs to make sure they are hiring people that can handle the heavy traffic that's in and out of the store without being rude and unprofessional. read more

The toughest thing about using this store is that whenever school is out is it jammed by kids just amusing themselves, so if you really need help on a school break, you will be tempted to pull your hair out. Truly, I don't think Apple is serious about helping people in the store. Try Best Buy, tho as of 2017 more techs understand PCs than Apple products. You might need to combine a membership at Best Buy (they are very good) with the use of a computer guy you hire privately -$70-90 per hour and some will come to you home. Yes, some of them are strange, some of them are too busy, but it's worth it to at least have one for backup to Best Buy. I believe the Apple store still has workshops, but they are 1 hour classes, not enough for me a transition from years w PCs. Maricopa Community Colleges have a one semester class in Mac operating systems that you can do online. A few classes in person. You can go at your own pace in some classes and last I checked, they are giving seniors a half price discount. To finish, here is my huge endorsements for Apple products. Apparently if you want to tweak things and ride the constant changes of goofy version changes and the constant threat of viruses, stay w PCs, but Apple now accommodates the best Microsoft programs. As a senior, I just couldn't take the PC nonsense anymore. The iPad is the best product I ever owned. Way, way the best product I ever owned!!!! I started to learn Apple techniques on an iPhone. So then I acquired a Macbook Pro and am now learning photos. Woo hoo! read more

My new iPhone 6s Plus has a cracked screen. I was able to make it to an Apple Store on my lunch break, however if you don't schedule your entire day arround a trip to this apple store, don't expect to be helped. I have had this phone for less than a month and its already broken. They were willing to work with me on the repair time and just sell me a new phone for the price of the screen. They STILL WANTED ME TO WAIT AN HOUR and after spending HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS 3 weeks ago on the phone they want MORE. Can't just have one of the 200 employees who seem to be standing around at the front of the store talking help me? Is apple going to take a huge financial hit if they replace my broken screen without me giving them another $150? If they were going to just swap my phone out why did I still have to wait an hour in the store? I have never been more disatisfied with Apple's "customer service" and I will NEVER return to this location. I want an Apple Watch and was going to get one while I was in the store today. But now I'm just so frusterated I don't even want to walk into another Apple Store. read more
