I chose to order over the phone, so I could ask questions. I primarily worked with Dominic (who was awesome!) during the ordering process. Not only were my questions answered, but Meta PCs was flexible on how I could pay for my beast of a machine. Unfortunately, the machine was shipped just in time to run into some dicey weather, so it arrived a wee bit frozen (I got the water-cooled option) and some minor leakage due to the machine being tilted a little bit too far. Alen took my call and was super supportive while we waited for the machine to thaw and dry out. I was also helped out by Will and Luis during my time of need! And I was a bit needy. Honestly, the whole team was super supportive. They communicated via chat, text, phone, and mail. Basically, matching whatever method I was using at that moment. I'm glad to report that it has defrosted and it is a thing of beauty. I couldn't be happier!

Last week I was…read morecursed with the so-called "blue screen of death" and had tried everything in my bag of tricks to get my computer back & running again. I have nearly 40 years of technical experience behind me and am competent enough to fix most computer glitches. However, this one was beyond even my expertise and abilities, because the file system was completely corrupted. How did this happen? There are lots of bugs in Windows 11, & when I did a system recovery, Windows corrupted the file system to the point of no return. I had most of my data backed up on a separate drive, but there was one file that was absolutely vital, because it contained information that was absolutely imperative to my business, as well as my personal affairs. I immediately got on the phone and called several computer repair services, but none of them suited my timely needs; i.e., I couldn't wait a week or longer. Then, I decided to try Yelp and received numerous replies, but only 1 really caught my eye; the one sent to me by Dominic Danko of GetItFixedAZ.com Dominic came to my house the very next day and was on time. Windows 11 was completely corrupted & needed to be replaced, but he was able to save that important file, which was a life-saver to me. After reinstalling Windows 11, he reconfigured my system & got me back on-line. Then, he helped me reinstall some old (but very important) programs that didn't function with Windows 11 & needed tweaking in order to make them work. Before he left, he also showed me how to access some hidden Windows programs with several tweaks that most people don't know about. I am thoroughly impressed by Dominic's knowledge & talents, his honesty & trustworthiness, & his geniality. His prices were extremely fair & reasonable, and he did everything he promised to do and more. He left me with his business card & personal phone number, which I shall guard with my life. If you are reading this review, Dominic, I wish to thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. I am truly blessed in finding you among the plethora of computer repair ads.

There's no greeting when you walk in and nobody asked me if they could point me in the right direction even as I was standing around with my own laptop like a deer in the headlights for a solid 3 minutes. I eventually found it myself when I walked to the laptop section in the back and this girl who looks about 22 (with straight, center part black hair. Wish I'd caught her name) looks at me and says, "you just trying to check out or something?" No smile. Nadda. I'm like, "uhh, no I just found this laptop charger and I'd like to plug it in to see if it works." This chick looks at me like I just asked her to lick the floor. She opens the package and tests a few of them, and is like "yea our chargers won't work for this." I have a pretty standard laptop. I was like "huh, that's weird..." No response. No "let's check over here and see if any other ones might be available." Nothing. Just this "sorry not sorry, leave me alone" attitude. I walked back over to the charger section and grab another one, opened it myself and found an adapter that works. I walk back over to the desk to check out and the same girl is working on some return or something and doesn't acknowledge me even if there was nobody else checking out. I say, "yea looks like you're returning something so I guess I'll go to the front." Again, no acknowledgment. Just gives me this glare like I was able to inconvenience her again. I remember Best Buy when I was growing up and people who worked there were typically very professional and friendly. I'm giving this a three star because the women at checkout were nice and I was able to get what I needed. Then again they were a little older. Yet another example of why Gen Z being terrible at customer service and acting like they'd basically be anywhere else. Had I known I'd have to deal with her I would have just started opening packages by myself to not "inconvenience" her for having to do her job.

    I ordered about $2K worth of Sonos gear online for in store pickup. They only had one cashier…read moreworking with 3 employees visiting at the front of the store. [See photo]. It took me 15 minutes to pick up my order as the people in front of me had 3 complex transactions in a row and had tons of questions that stalled the cashier. When another employee wandered to the front of the store from the cell phone area I asked if he could grab my online order. He was able to get my order and then walked away without offering to help me carry the large boxes to my car. This is the reason that Amazon is smoking large box retailers with employees that don't care about customers. I won't be shopping this Best Buy on Thunderbird anymore.
