We needed a whole new IT and phone setup in our office and they executed our needs in an efficient, effective, informative and very friendly manner. Michael got us a very fairly priced quote, then followed up as our Management made their decision among several choices. We chose DataFast as they are a local family owned business, and showed through the bidding process to be very responsive (important!) as well as helpful with assumptions and suggestions. Scott led the onsite install and even during busy work days for us was hardly noticeable by our staff as he completed the project. Almost like we'd been working with him for years. Going forward we are also going to continue to use DataFast for on call IT solutions, as their expertise has allowed us to do without an IT person onsite! Pretty easy 5 stars with value to boot!

This is not your normal review as I own a computer repair business myself. However, I have come…read moreacross two different computers that Sam built brought in by customers due to "end of life" and ready to be recycled. Seeing as I work on computers daily, I get a glimpse that most consumers do not see: inside the computer, which shows the care put into their build. The computers themselves were quite old, dating back probably at least 10 years judging by the components. However, the detail to how they were built was still evident. It was obvious that much thought and care had been put into the systems, from cable management to the proper screws being used to proper airflow. This may sound kind of funny, but after seeing so many "big name" companies (looking at you, HP) that look like they were thrown together as fast as they could, it was refreshing to see these two computers with attention to detail in a place the customer would never see. In fact, I didn't realize they were from the same builder until the similarities caused me to go back and compare. It was like a signature, in a place that may have never been noticed by his customer. I have never met Sam and have only come in contact with his work based on the labels on the cases. But, they say integrity is what you do when nobody is looking, or in this case when nobody will see it. It's building something right because it's right...not to show off. And because of this, I recommend Sam's work and would trust him with my own computer.

When I finally got a response, I was told there had been a death in the family. I genuinely sympathize, but the complete lack of proactive communication was unacceptable. A single message would have set expectations. After more than six weeks, I got my unit back unfixed. That's a lot of wasted time. If you can't take on a repair or provide timely updates, don't accept the job. I wouldn't trust this shop with complex or time sensitive work.

Thank goodness he did, because I then found "MacMasters" in Scottsdale and received excellent service from competent and *patient* technicians. The Mac Service Experts guy seems to have very thin skin, insecurity issues and/or a serious dose of narcissism (he literally claimed that "no one with 50 miles" could address the computer issue I had - WRONG!), and dealing with him was like dealing with one of those unloved get-off-my-lawn neighbors.
