About 3 months ago the HDMI port on my laptop went kaput. Two other places I checked with said to replace the whole motherboard with an estimated cost of around $200. Thankfully I also called Vista based on my previous great experience with a cell phone repair there. After opening the laptop up and finidng my HDMI port was bad Stephan got a replacement port and installed it. I mean, why replace the whole board when only the port is bad, right?! He also pointed out how bad the factory heat shielding was and for a very small fee replaced it with much better material. Even with the new heat shielding the total price was over 75% less than the other places. Once again, great service done quickly and a very reasonable price. Long story short, I brought an xbox in that I figured was doomed after doing a little online research (evidently my google-fu is slipping) and frankly didn't have the time to try to repair myself. Brought it in, turned out to be a bad hard drive. The crazy part is they had it repaired later the same day much to my shock. Was completely above board in terms of pricing, fixed fee (completely reasonable) plus the hardware (he provided a receipt). Great to know there's an honest expert in town. Will definitely be back. My girlfriend needed screen replacement for her iphone. Suncellular and ubreak gave me $90 estemates and asked me to wait for 2 hours. Stephan fixed it in 15 minutes for $50. Besides a brand new screen, he also cleaned up charging port and with money I saved I bought a usb cable that cut my charge time in half. It was a pleasant experience, I learned a lot. Came in to replace my iPhone 4S battery and screen. Walk in and within 10 minutes my battery was replaced, and it took only 30 minutes to replace the screen. While I was there, they had cool back plates you can replace your generic back cover with, so I bought one because it was only $10!! Friendly service, quality products & great prices. My Galaxy s3 had a bad power button. I took it here and the owner replaced the button in a matter of minutes for dirt cheap, half the cost for other quotes I received. I came in yesterday to have my Xbox 360 looked at as I thought it was making a whining noise louder than it should. The shop took the time to hook my Xbox up and test it. They said it was the hard drive spinning and not the fan as I thought, and they noise seemed reasonable. Just after the 1 year warranty was up, my son's Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet image started breaking up with vertical lines through the image which severely compromised image quality and rendered text illegible. I thought I was still protected by the credit card I purchased it with which doubles the manufacturer's warranty. However, the company that administers the extended warranty requires a pile of documentation in addition to a diagnosis of the issue from either the manufacturer or a well-known tech retailer. I first tried dealing with Samsung product support. After describing the issue, someone overseas suggested doing a master reset which did not resolve the issue at all. They then offered to have me send the device to them for a diagnosis for a mere $270 fee, nearly the original cost of the item. Local big box tech stores will not service tablets not purchased from them. To make a long story short, after finding them on Yelp, I brought the tablet in to Vista Tronics. The gentleman took one look at it, said it was probably a disconnected cable and took it back while I waited. Ten minutes later he came out with a good as new tablet. The 20 bucks he asked for the repair was well worth not having to jump through all the extended warranty hoops, not to mention dealing with Samsung's abysmal customer service and extortionist "diagnostic fee". DON'T go anywhere else! I specifically joined yelp to give a review for this company. You will receive professional, knowledgeable, courteous service at an unusually reasonable price. This is my second Internet review because I am so pleased with the service I have received from Stephan at Vista Tronics that I had to write again. I first came to him after my LG G2 screen had broken for the 3rd time, and a friend who had done some work for him had suggested I go see if Vista Tronics could give me a better deal. I had paid nearly twice what he charged me at other places and was given minimal service. He gave me a reasonable price, and he gave me a loaner while we waited for my part to come in. When it did, Stephan fixed my phone quickly, and gave me some recommendations for a different used phone for a good price (he understood how frustrated I was with mine). When I cracked it again I went to him. He told me as long as I could still use the phone that I should wait to fix it, instead of trying to sell me yet another LCD and screen I didn't really need. Then he fixed my daughter's phone for next to nothing. Later, when my crappy G2 got stolen, I had to use my daughter's old, sad iPhone 4. I brought that to him after I had dropped it so much the whole back was ruined and internal parts were exposed. He fixed it in about 10 minutes, again charged me $10, and then helped me look for better phones on The Internet. I ended up going back with an iPhone 4s I had previously owned, but that my daughter had dropped in the Log Ride at Castles and Coasters. It spent the night there in the water, under the flumes, and then sat in a drawer for 9 months or so, but I thought, "what the heck"? Not only was he able to fix it (EVERYONE TOLD ME THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE) but it works better now than when I used to use it before I gave it to my daughter to use (I'm using it to write this), and he charged me next to nothing to fix it. He also brilliantly applied new screen protectors I bought on both the old phone and new. We again talked about other phones and he helped me do some research on used phones, AGAIN, while I was there. I always feel like I'm the only customer ever when I'm there. I am coming back to have him fix my husband's iPad 2 screen. $85 for a new LCD/screen (Apple parts, not 3rd party). This is how everyone should run a business! This place is GREAT! I was told by the guy at AT&T that my Galaxy 5 was totalled after I dropped it and damaged the LCD screen. There were no real cracks and I could still see it was on and was receiving messages., though it was 99%blacked out. My daughters iphone 5 had the same problem. I checked out YELP for recommendations on a repair place, and luckily I found a review that stated this same problem. He fixed them both fast (30 min) and for a totally resonable price! Had a shattered Galaxy S4 screen, this place had the cheapest rates in the valley for a better quality product (gorilla glass vs. Regular glass). Good store hours so I didn't have to take off work and able to fix it within an hour. Also didn't try to overcharge by unessecarily replacing the LCD which was fine. read more

Vista Tronics is terrific. I cracked the screen on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and every place I called wanted at least $200 to replace the screen. When I called Vista Tronics, I mistakenly said that I had a Galaxy S5 and they said it would be $75 to replace the screen. When I got there, they reminded me that I have a Galaxy S4 and said that it would only be $60 to replace the screen -- such honesty and customer service is rare. And, they completed the screen replacement while I waited -- not even 30 minutes! I won't ever go anywhere else for cellphone repairs!! read more
