The service fell well short of expectations. I booked an appointment to replace the back glass on my iPhone and received a confirmation message, but having an appointment seemingly meant nothing. When I arrived, the lobby was completely empty, yet the technician was unaware of their own inventory despite the website indicating the part was in stock. He took my phone to the back just to check for the piece, he then said they did. Even tho there was no one else there he said he couldn't help me today and that I would need to reschedule. While their pricing seems fair, the lack of inventory management and disregard for scheduled appointments made this a frustrating waste of time. read more

Would not recommend. May be closer to you than Apple Store, but beware they charge more than Apple for repairs. Not willing to match Apple costs, due to their 'labor fees'. This location is poorly put together with poor construction and dirty walls. I'd rather deal with Apple directly. read more

If you need help with an Apple product this is the perfect place to go. It is quiet, not crazy busy and Alex, who helped us was knowledgeable, so very helpful and patient. I have a new Mac and was having a hard time setting it up. Alex walked me through what I need to do. He also helped me select an external hard drive to purchase for backing up. Apple had me come to Mobile Kangaroo to see if they can get a malfunctioning iPad to accept the latest update. Alexander was great and informed me that someone else was just here before me with the same exact issue. Never heard of Apple ever having an issue with an update. Always a first at some point. The download seems to be taking so I am very thankful that Alexander and MobileKangaroo are the bomb! My iPad and me are back on the road and could not be happier! read more

2 idiots at the counter doing 1 job. Couldn't even acknowledge people that came to their appointment. "We will be right there with you guys" could have sufficed. Waited around for 20 minutes and then asked nicely if we should come back at a better time and the low level employee with an attitude scowled at us for asking. You will be charged a non refundable diagnostic fee, no matter the result. Took them a week to tell me they couldn't service my Apple TV. Went straight to apple after, and had it repaired. If your apple products are out of their warranty period, avoid this place, they cannot help you. They should not be considered a verified third party service. read more

Hi. I never write reviews. However, I felt a need to warn people about these crooks/scammers. My computer had shut down due to overheating so I needed to take it in. I had the same problem a couple of years ago, and at that time took it in to an Apple store and they diagnosed it and cleaned it throughly for free. I made the mistake of not taking it again to them. Mobile Kangaroo was fairly close to me, and out of convenience, I unfortunately took it to them this time. I walked in at 11am and told the guy there that my computer needed a diagnostic test and a simple cleaning. He told me that "store policy" stated that I need to pay a $35 plus tax ($3.01) "diagnostic fee" and that a cleaning would be $30 but if they find nothing wrong with it, and only needed a cleaning. I said Apple stores did this for free. He had no answer. I should have walked right out of there but I was in a hurry and decided to pay for a diagnostic test and cleaning at Mobile Kangaroo. The guy said it would take 3 hours to do and that he would call me then. I reluctantly paid the $38.01 and left. 4 1/2 hours later I called asking if I could pick it up. He said, " no, it will be tomorrow and that the diagnostic revealed that I needed a $100 "thermal repaste" since my computer was over 4 years old and that the cleaning would now cost $100 instead of the original $30 quoted. I smelled a scam, which it turned out to be. I told the guy, to not do anything to my computer and I picked it up immediately. The guy didn't even clean my screen with the "rubbing alcohol" that he recommended to clean it with. I asked for a diagnostic report. He gave me a blank sheet of paper on it with 4 short sentences on it: "Diag results: Internals of machines clogged with dust and debris. Fan is wobbling because of it. Vents are clogged as well. This is causing the machine to thermal throttle and shutdown." Basically, he just regurgitated what I initially told him what I thought was wrong with it. I asked him for the $200 estimate written out. He refused and said it verbally: $100 for the thermal repaste and $100 for the cleaning, so $200. I asked him for a receipt for the work he did. He refused. I walked out. UPDATE: I just walked out of my local Apple store, will I always take my computer in the future from now on. The Apple store representative said Mobile Kangaroo was lying to me when they said I needed a thermal repaste because nothing was wrong with it. Apple ran a full diagnostic test which passed it every category. They thoroughly cleaned my fan and vents and insides of computers.........and all of this was for FREE! So, that's it. I think this is my first review of anything I have ever done in my life. But, I felt a need to warn people about these scam artists. read more

Went in for a simple laptop battery replacement. They first forced me to get a diagnostics test done which they charged me for, even though I was there only to get the battery replaced. They didn't have the part needed, which somehow took 2 weeks to arrive. When I was finally able to bring the laptop back in to get the battery replaced, they kept making false promises on when it would be fixed. Ended up taking almost three days for them to replace the battery even after they claimed it would be done by the evening. The whole ordeal took almost three weeks to get this done. read more
