Friendly on the phone? Hell yes. Prompt in returning phone calls? You're damn right! Fair and honest? 100% on both accounts. Not only do they care but if they are fully booked they'll actually give references for another company or two that might be able to help. They care. 9/12 at 9:15 pm we had a major microburst ripped our A/C unit off its mount and landed somewhere else on our roof. I left a message with Antrim message service that night. Early the next morning (6am) Anthony called me and was out to my house at 7am. Through this whole situation Anthony and his wife have put us first. To the point that they did a rush on our unit and special metal mount so we could get it done by that Monday. Keep in mind we are talking a 1 day notice. Since the city of Mesa was asphalting our cul-de-sac on 9/18 if we didn't get the crane and unit up before 11am that day we would have had to wait until 10/12. No heavy equipment allowed for 3 weeks - that included a crane. If we damage the asphalt the City was going to make us pay for it to get fix. Antrim was the ONLY company that rushed and changed their schedule to get that unit on by 8:30 am on Monday. I can't give enough stars for this company! There is no way any other company would have done all that they did for us. Very few companies out there that care truly about their customers instead of their pocket book. read more

Antrim took all of the trouble out of getting a new A/C. I used Antrim to service my old unit. Over the years, they always recommended reasonable repairs and maintenance. When Antrim recommended a new unit, I could trust their opinion. I was provided a list of options for equipment and financing. I liked that it was 5-6 options. So a good selection, but not overwhelming. I had questions about both. Talitha helped me understand sizes, likely return on investment, efficiency, and speed. The installation was quick. Anthony and his team were on time and communicated well. Wow! Everything is pristine. Fast forward two months. I love the unit. It's like a slight breeze. Happy with the variable speed. You can really feel the difference. The technology is wonderful!! Once we got the settings right, we have not had to touch it. Looking forward to lower AC bills! Our service technician was Zach. He was efficient and thorough. He answered all my questions and never came across as uninformed or inexperienced. After his evaluation of our system; we needed to replace a condenser motor. I felt the price was fair and Zach provided wonderful service. Prior to selecting Antrim Air, LLC. We called five or six other locations Monday to get an idea on a standard service call for two units. We also checked yelp reviews for the locations we called. All locations we called, including Antrim Air, LLC., told us the service fee would be waived if any repairs were required. However, they did not waive the whole service fee as informed Monday. After complaining and Zach calling in, they discounted the service fee. We feel mislead by their office staff and are uncertain if we would recommend or use them in the future. read more

Our AC stopped working on a Friday afternoon mid August 100+ temp!!!! I called one famous business to come and see what's wrong. They came on Sunday charged me for $420 capacitor and left!! It didn't fix the AC, so I called them back now they wanted $916 for a fan !!! I was very upset and was talking with a friend when she told me she knows these great people who owns the business !! She referred me to Antrim Air business, Anthony came and changed the fan for $350 !! And told us we don't need a new unit !! He saved us a lot of money and was super nice and professional. My A/C unit began acting up in July of last year. Tech came out several times trying to salvage my older unit on consecutive days. I had my AC go out over the weekend and called around and had another company come out. The company said I had so many issues to list they wouldn't recommend fixing the blower motor(which was fine) and condenser fan and to just replace the whole unit. That company quoted me insane prices to get it up and running but was able to happily schedule me a new replacement and after a few google searches I declined. Luckily I have parents near by that I could stay at their house. I had a few other company's say they were fully booked or weren't willing to climb the ladder on my condo to get to the top. I was referred to Antrim by a family member and called first thing on Monday at 8AM. By 9AM Sergio was at my place and climbing on top of my condo. For some weird chance, the condenser fan started working again and Sergio was very upfront and said he wouldn't recommend replacing unless I wanted to. I decided to replace just in case the fan stopped working again. Sergio got to work immediately without hesitation, carrying tools and everything up to the roof got to work. In less than an hour he was done and my ac blowing cold again. Where 6 or 7 other companies failed, Antrim and Sergio excelled. I can firmly say I will trust Antrim first for any needs I'll have for ac service/repair/replacement. If you need professional and honest ac service, call Antrim Air. I purchased 2 Rheem ac units 7 years ago from a different ac company. The units are manufacturer warranted for 3 more years and the thought of replacing them after 7 years at the price point I spent was unthinkable. Both have been giving me issues this year. After speaking with at minimum ten different companies and because it was both units, I did some research and found that there was a class action lawsuit against Rheem for the coils in my unit, due to faulty material. During this experience, I learned that there are many dishonest ac service companies. From the ten+ companies I spoke with, I had a company blatantly lie that my units were never registered and thus not under manufacturer warranty, one company said they simply had no idea what was wrong, one company wanted to fill with refrigerant even though they repaired nothing so it would just leak into the environment again (also refrigerant is not inexpensive), one company gave a quote about 30% higher then Antrim and called me the day before install, after knowing I had no ac for a week, to inform me the repair rate had gone up 2x. After all this I was spent and literally wanted to give up when Talitha returned my call. I knew almost immediately this company was different. They are very responsive and caring. They go above and beyond to ensure you are prioritized (i.e. Requesting expedited part shipping as an example). They work to identify the root cause of the problem, fix it, and at a fair rate. No surprise costs. I highly recommend Antrim. Call them if your ac is on the brink. Call them if you need a new unit. You will not regret it. read more

Antrim Air is a company that understands that service businesses thrive or flounder based upon their reputation. These guys approach their business with a service first mantra in a field of business that is often abused by profiteering predators. We have all seen the 60 minutes exposes of unscrupulous or untrained technicians recommending unnecessary expensive repairs and replacement units. My story is a familiar one. On one of the hottest days of the year so far my A/C unit quit working. Over 10 months ago my unit had problems and I called another quite large locally owned service company. The tech that came was great and had my unit operational in a jiffy. He sold me on a monthly maintenance program which qualified me for an instant discount off the service call, so the service agreement would pay for itself. So it was a no brainer but 9 months later and $13 dollar a month contract fee and I never received a courtesy call or saw a tech for the included bi annual maintenance tune up. So naturally when my unit stopped working last week that was who I called, after all I do have a maintenance agreement with them. They got a tech there the next day who stated that my fan motor was bad, but worse, my compressor not working. Repairs would run in the region of $3K so he recommended that I consider getting a new unit. I'm thinking how am I going to come up with the cash for this. There goes this years vacation plans and maybe have to live on Ramen for the rest of the year. Over the past year I have become acquainted with Anthony and Talitha who own Antrim Air through their sponsorship of this years Phoenix St Patricks Day Parade. I called Talitha to ask her recommendation - Repair or replace the unit? She recommended getting a second opinion for a large expenditure like this and arranged for a tech to come within hours. I did need a new fan motor but that was it. He had it fixed in no time and the cost to me was less than the tax on the price that other company had quoted me. So the moral of the story is Antrim Air is a company that you can trust. They make their profit from repeat business. That is stimulated by referrals and happy customers like me. Lets face it, living in Phoenix we are all going to need A/C work at some point. Don't get ripped off, I know who I am calling next time.
