Yesterday evening around 7:00pm while it was still triple digit weather outside. My ACs fan motor goes out. I start calling around finally ended up calling True Home Maintenance in Mesa, Az. Their ad said 24hr service and they were actually 3 miles away from my house. I spoke with the owners wife over the phone and she told me the tech that would be showing up is her husband Chris, who also is the owner of the company. Chris, who is a hilarious guy by the way, shows up at my house whith in the hour!! I explain to Chris the problem, he wastes no time at all getting to work. By the grace of the AC gods, Chris had 1 fan motor left on his truck that I needed for my AC unit. Chris was done in less than 30 minutes, cleaned up everything and was soooooooo funny along the way. I hope no one has to sit in their house with no AC for any period of time but if you ever find your self in that situation call Chris and his team at True Home Maintenance air conditioning and heating because THEY ARE LEGIT!! Scott was friendly and responsive and fixed the problem with our AC in short order! He was very understanding of my dogs barking. The dispatchers were extremely friendly and helpful! It was a home warranty and there was some difficulty with the paperwork on the home warranty company end but they were willing to hold a spot on the schedule despite having to wait on the work order. It was 97 degrees in the house so we were in distress!!! I had quite a different experience with the last company. It makes a huge difference who you call!!! read more

I called my warranty company Fidelity National Home Warranty and they sent out True Home Maintenance Air Conditioning & Heating LLC Ryan, the technician, arrived 7/19 around 4pm he connected into a pipe that was intentionally disconnected without checking the integrity of the pipe. Around 1am that night water was leaking through my son's bedroom. I called the warranty company again and they sent the same guy out. The damage was done to the ceiling in my son's bedroom. The technician stated that he did not check the integrity of the pipe before forcing water through it and connecting into the pipe. According to Ryan, he said the pipe broke from the work that he did causing the leak. On his second visit 7/20 Ryan stated he would talk to his company to see what they can do about damages but that it is up to his company to decide if they would fix the damage. He said in order to fix the initial issue I had to pay an additional $180. He also stated that he would provide pictures and notes of what he did. As of 8/19, I still have yet to receive any pictures or notes detailing the work Ryan completed. I spoke to the owner Chris and he's not taking any responsibility for it. Chris also stated that he would not send me notes or pictures because those belong to the warranty company. The initial problem remained. Water continued to leak towards the front door. On the 3rd visit 7/21 two different men were sent out to complete the initial job that Ryan was supposed to do. I had 2 other air conditioning companies come out before them and they said they couldn't help me with my air conditioner and they didn't seem to want to deal with my home warranty (Fidelity) even though Fidelity was the ones that sent them out! Then True Home Maintenance was the 3rd company to come out to my home & they went above and beyond to get me a new AC replacement since my unit was over 35 years old and was not repairable. The final package will have all the agreements on consumer protection . There will never be any questions on responsibility. If it was possible to give zero stars, this would be my score. This is the worst combination for a service company coming to your home - incompetent, unprofessional, and surly. The first technician dispatched was completely unable to diagnose anything and appeared his only qualification was that he is the brother-in-law of the owner. The owner of the company then had to visit, arrived late, was annoyed, talked on his cell phone the entire time, bfailed to communicate with me and and still never finished the job. I recommend you call any HVAC company other than True Home Maintenance. We had to. . . . And, following up after a shocking rebuttal from the True Home (below) . . . Who chose to defame the customer publicly . . . I strongly recommend you call someone else who values customers . . . Admits the technicians are unqualified . . . but family members. Express annoyance about rescheduling . . . reinforcing that True Home's time is more valuable than the customer's. Fail to communicate at any time while on site . . . so that you don't know my wife is driving into the development at the same time as I need to depart for the airport . . . a fact that was communicated prior to the scheduled repair, but couldn't be discussed because the owner couldn't be inconvenienced to put a call on hold or call his supplier back for the part. I'm saddened to write this review. I called this company a couple of months ago because I was getting an error code 126 on my thermostat. The individual shared that my capacitor was bad and then further added that my TXV needed replacing and the unit would need to be filled with 12 lbs of refrigerant. I'm glad I didn't listen because I contacted other companies for a second and third opinion. read more

We were referred to True Maintenance by my sister. We were searching for an AC maintenance and check up after being gouged by Precision for years. We were on Precision's maintenance plan for years and every time service was provided there was always something we needed $200 - $500 every 6 months. We were fed up with Precision. When we signed up with True Maintenance they showed us what Precision had installed, not needed, and the dangerous installation of our AC. We could've had a fire! True Maintenance came in fixed the wiring, fixed the air intake duct which were incorrectly installed. We have been with True Maintenance for a few years now, we've had no issues, they have come and done maintenance without selling us snake oil. My sister is also very pleased with them. Wow! Super impressed with this company! Their response time is within 24 hours and the techs are fast and efficient! My AC went out and I was in panic mode since it was 106 outside... Travis showed up and within an hour my condenser fan motor was replaced and I am back to comfortable temperature! Best part is my home warranty covered the cost! read more

My heater and A/C unit went down about a month ago. I called my home warranty company and the scheduled True Home Maintenance to come out and service it. I ended up having the whole unit replaced. It was still nice weather out so I lucked out for not having an air conditioning unit while it was beiTrue Home Maintenance had my unit replaced in a day. Every thing worked great and within my budget. About a month goes by and it got a bit hotter out so we stared the a/c. The next day, I noticed a small part of the ceiling was wet and dripping water. I called True Home and Scott came out. After checking out what happened he told me that the drain tube as not cleared out when the new unit was installed and he had to blow it out himself. He said the leak in the ceiling was due to the drain not being cleared. After he cleared it the drip stopped. Chris the owner called me and after a brief discussion we decided Chris would send someone out to repair it at his cost. They came out and fixed it and it looks great! 3.5 years ago our air conditioning went out at 10:30pm with a 15 month old. Our normal air guy rigged it to work. We were uncomfortable with his service. We called a major brand company and they quoted us $9,000 for a 1,400 square foot house. Seemed high to us so we called True Home Maintenance. They came out, professional and super nice, quoted us $3,500 less. We decided to go with them and have no regrets! We had an issue of no air the other day and they quickly came and fixed it. Waking up early to a hot house because the AC went out during the night was the worst thing that happened Thursday. With an 8 month old baby, we needed help! My husband called True Home Maintenance on his lunch break, and Travis promptly showed up to save our day. That was the best part of Thursday. After he fixed the AC, he then went above and beyond and opened all of our vents (that have been closed since we moved in, a year and a half ago).
