I recommend this company because my A/C technician Joel was very intelligent and communicative with me on explaining the process of cleaning and tune up on my outdoor A/C unit. It now works better than it has ever been and so quiet which is always a huge plus!!! read more

Scott was friendly and responsive and fixed the problem with our AC in short order! He was very understanding of my dogs barking. The dispatchers were extremely friendly and helpful! It was a home warranty and there was some difficulty with the paperwork on the home warranty company end but they were willing to hold a spot on the schedule despite having to wait on the work order. It was 97 degrees in the house so we were in distress!!! I had quite a different experience with the last company. It makes a huge difference who you call!!! read more

condensation falling from the roof to my front door. I called my warranty company Fidelity National Home Warranty and they sent out True Home Maintenance Air Conditioning & Heating LLC Ryan, the technician, arrived 7/19 around 4pm he connected into a pipe that was intentionally disconnected without checking the integrity of the pipe. Around 1am that night water was leaking through my son's bedroom. I called the warranty company again and they sent the same guy out. The damage was done to the ceiling in my son's bedroom. The technician stated that he did not check the integrity of the pipe before forcing water through it and connecting into the pipe. According to Ryan, he said the pipe broke from the work that he did causing the leak. On his second visit 7/20 Ryan stated he would talk to his company to see what they can do about damages but that it is up to his company to decide if they would fix the damage. He said in order to fix the initial issue I had to pay an additional $180. He also stated that he would provide pictures and notes of what he did. As of 8/19, I still have yet to receive any pictures or notes detailing the work Ryan completed. I spoke to the owner Chris and he's not taking any responsibility for it. Chris also stated that he would not send me notes or pictures because those belong to the warranty company. The initial problem remained. Water continued to leak towards the front door. On the 3rd visit 7/21 two different men were sent out to complete the initial job that Ryan was supposed to do. As a frontline worker who is devoted to serving the community, it saddens me to witness the lack of integrity True Home Maintenance Air Conditioning & Heating LLC has. read more

After hours of meetings for estimates and recommendations for the appropriate Air Conditioner & Heat Pump for two sections of our home, we finally found a knowledgeable and HONEST privately owned company. Chris Schaubert and his highly technical crew installed in one day 2 Air Conditioners, 2 Heat Pumps plus two new thermostats. His office will generate all necessary papers from Trane on-line. The final package will have all the agreements on consumer protection . There will never be any questions on responsibility. A Professional Job from a Professional Company and a completely satisfied family. Contracted with True Home Maintenance for several years . Saturday company due to arrive & at 4PM one thermostat did not function. Called office & Brandon D arrived. Determined problem & after 2 hours AC was active. Bottom line - you can pay for this contracted service, and when needed non responsive. True Home Maintenance delivers as contract is signed & active !!!! C read more

True Home Maintenance is the absolute best! I had 2 other air conditioning companies come out before them and they said they couldn't help me with my air conditioner and they didn't seem to want to deal with my home warranty (Fidelity) even though Fidelity was the ones that sent them out! Then True Home Maintenance was the 3rd company to come out to my home & they went above and beyond to get me a new AC replacement since my unit was over 35 years old and was not repairable. Their professionalism and communication and reliability was excellent! Even though it took a long time for my home warranty to approve the replacement, True Home Maintenance continued to call them and give me updates! Highly recommend this company!! read more

Our AC went out on the 4th of july. Called True Home Maintenance and they came out that same day. Other company's we called told us they couldn't get anyone out for a couple days. Our AC problem was intermittent, the AC air handler was running and shutting off. Of course when Chris the first tech showed up the system run without flaw. Chris gave me some instructions to follow the next time the AC started having issues. AC ran for a whole 24 hours before it started having issues again. Called True Home and they had a tech out our house with in the 20 minutes. Travis the second tech was able to confirm the issue but then the system started working again. Traves came back the next day and replaced the Air Handler blower motor. System seems to running normally. Great customer service from Chris and Travis. Would highly recommend True Home Maintenance to anyone. read more

Great service. Professional and informative. Arrived on time and explained everything before starting work.

I was paired with this company through my home warranty. True Home Maintenance was prompt with responding to my claim. Customer service was friendly and they have technicians that commute all over the valley, so they were able to dispatch someone to me in the same day. Scott was really helpful in explaining the issue and fixed it quickly. I highly recommend this company if anyone is in need of HVAC repairs or maintenance! read more

If it was possible to give zero stars, this would be my score. This is the worst combination for a service company coming to your home - incompetent, unprofessional, and surly. The first technician dispatched was completely unable to diagnose anything and appeared his only qualification was that he is the brother-in-law of the owner. The owner of the company then had to visit, arrived late, was annoyed, talked on his cell phone the entire time, bfailed to communicate with me and and still never finished the job. I recommend you call any HVAC company other than True Home Maintenance. We had to. . . . And, following up after a shocking rebuttal from the True Home (below) . . . Who chose to defame the customer publicly . . . I strongly recommend you call someone else who values customers . . . Admits the technicians are unqualified . . . but family members. Express annoyance about rescheduling . . . reinforcing that True Home's time is more valuable than the customer's. Fail to communicate at any time while on site . . . so that you don't know my wife is driving into the development at the same time as I need to depart for the airport . . . a fact that was communicated prior to the scheduled repair, but couldn't be discussed because the owner couldn't be inconvenienced to put a call on hold or call his supplier back for the part. Everything in this situation could have been avoided . . . if True Home actually attempted to treat us as a customers instead of an inconvenience. True Home Maintenance - incompetent, unprofessional, surly and on-line trolls. read more

I'm saddened to write this review. I called this company a couple of months ago because I was getting an error code 126 on my thermostat. The individual shared that my capacitor was bad and then further added that my TXV needed replacing and the unit would need to be filled with 12 lbs of refrigerant. I'm glad I didn't listen because I contacted other companies for a second and third opinion. read more

When I tell you that the customer service at True Home Maintenance Air Conditioning and Heating goes above and beyond, I am not exaggerating. When my AC stopped cooling and was leaking on a Saturday they had someone out within a few hours. They got it running in no time. When the leak came back they sent the owner Chris out to fix it. He was so patient and explained everything to me! I felt like I had a handy dad teaching me everything I needed to know on maintaining my HVAC unit. He notified me of a safety issue with the breaker and even reattached the thermostat to the wall because I lost the mounting screws a year ago and just never got around to buying new ones. Their attention to detail and the care that they provide to their clients is the reason I would 100% recommend True Home Maintenance for all your HVAC needs. read more

Had a great experience with True and Scott today. My AC went out last night right after the storm, I waited till this morning to call after seeing many recommendations on Ocotillo Friends. Chris answered and said he would call me in 15 minutes, which he did, and I had a technician at my home in less than an hour. He replaced my motor up in the attic very quickly and we are back in business again. Will definitely use and recommend you guys from now on. Thank you! read more

We were referred to True Maintenance by my sister. We were searching for an AC maintenance and check up after being gouged by Precision for years. We were on Precision's maintenance plan for years and every time service was provided there was always something we needed $200 - $500 every 6 months. We were fed up with Precision. When we signed up with True Maintenance they showed us what Precision had installed, not needed, and the dangerous installation of our AC. We could've had a fire! True Maintenance came in fixed the wiring, fixed the air intake duct which were incorrectly installed. We have been with True Maintenance for a few years now, we've had no issues, they have come and done maintenance without selling us snake oil. My sister is also very pleased with them. We've recommended them to friends. Friendly, honest service. read more

We had Chris come out to do a check up on our unit. He was so informative and we didn't feel like he pushed any services on us. Turns out we need to have our ductwork redone (spendy). He gave us a few things we could do now to help our airflow and also gave us suggestions for the future. Overall a really great experience and we will call them again! read more

We've been using True Home Maintenance for about 5 years. We were referred to them through our home warranty company and stuck with them after their first service visit. The owner, Chris, is a really upstanding guy. His team has been great when they visit us for service maintenance. We've used them from a/c repairs to a new unit to service maintenance and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive, fairly priced, locally owned HVAC company. read more

If you haven't use this company do yourself a favor and give them a call. They have been my go-to business since I moved to AZ two years ago. I don't have to remember to set up a time to check my air conditioning or heating - they're on top of it! Recently I had an appointment to check my heater. JB let me know that morning when he would arrive (always the case) and showed up on time. Just one example of dependability. JB was professional, friendly and thorough. My heater and A/C unit went down about a month ago. I called my home warranty company and the scheduled True Home Maintenance to come out and service it. I ended up having the whole unit replaced. It was still nice weather out so I lucked out for not having an air conditioning unit while it was beiTrue Home Maintenance had my unit replaced in a day. Every thing worked great and within my budget. About a month goes by and it got a bit hotter out so we stared the a/c. The next day, I noticed a small part of the ceiling was wet and dripping water. I called True Home and Scott came out. After checking out what happened he told me that the drain tube as not cleared out when the new unit was installed and he had to blow it out himself. He said the leak in the ceiling was due to the drain not being cleared. After he cleared it the drip stopped. Chris the owner called me and after a brief discussion we decided Chris would send someone out to repair it at his cost. They came out and fixed it and it looks great! Thanks Chris for owning up to it and I would love to keep doing business with you. Michele read more

Yesterday evening around 7:00pm while it was still triple digit weather outside. My ACs fan motor goes out. I start calling around finally ended up calling True Home Maintenance in Mesa, Az. Their ad said 24hr service and they were actually 3 miles away from my house. I spoke with the owners wife over the phone and she told me the tech that would be showing up is her husband Chris, who also is the owner of the company. Chris, who is a hilarious guy by the way, shows up at my house whith in the hour!! I explain to Chris the problem, he wastes no time at all getting to work. By the grace of the AC gods, Chris had 1 fan motor left on his truck that I needed for my AC unit. Chris was done in less than 30 minutes, cleaned up everything and was soooooooo funny along the way. I hope no one has to sit in their house with no AC for any period of time but if you ever find your self in that situation call Chris and his team at True Home Maintenance air conditioning and heating because THEY ARE LEGIT!! Great Company! Highly Recommend! After a miserable experience with another company thru my home warranty provider, I was referred to True Home Maintenance. I was contacted within 30 minutes by Trina. Trina was pleasant and professional on the phone. She gave me a two hour window, introduced the technician (Travis) and told me that Travis would call when he was in route. As promised, Travis called 15 minutes ahead of schedule! Came out diagnosed the problem quickly and got my A/C up and running again. Nice job True Home Maintenance! 3.5 years ago our air conditioning went out at 10:30pm with a 15 month old. Our normal air guy rigged it to work. We were uncomfortable with his service. We called a major brand company and they quoted us $9,000 for a 1,400 square foot house. Seemed high to us so we called True Home Maintenance. They came out, professional and super nice, quoted us $3,500 less. We decided to go with them and have no regrets! We had an issue of no air the other day and they quickly came and fixed it. Hands down the best service ever! We recommend them to everyone. They will not cheat you or scam you. Honest reliable company. Thank you Chris for the best service! My brother is using them on his new home. Everyone quoted him $9,000 and they were much much less! Best family owned business out there! read more

I couldn't be happier with the service I got from this company. I received an honest, practical evaluation of our system with a range of options to consider. We decided to replace our 15 year old AC units and were happy with the initial estimate, final price, and every aspect of the install. Professional and very nice people to deal with. I have honestly never dealt with an AC company so caring and putting the customer's needs first. I cannot imagine using anyone else in the future. read more

Very impressed with this company. Our AC unit stopped working and our home warranty company put us in touch with True Home. From the start they were friendly they were fantastic. I have the utmost confidence in recommending Chris, Travis and the team. After they showed up on time (rare for so many in this field) They explained exactly what my options were, and gave me the choice to think it over, get another opinion, etc. After getting my system completely replaced, I can now relax knowing the work was done right - the way I would've done it (if that was my thing) and not done halfway like the previous owners had it done. It's obvious that True Home Maintenance is a family owned business because of their level of commitment to their craft and their customers! Travis and Robert came out yesterday to clean our ducts throughout our home. They respond promptly and were very sensitive to our needs. I particularly appreciated their taking their time to answer all of my questions. They are very conscientious professionals. They scrubbed the vents and took the time to wash each register. I had no hesitation leaving them alone in my home because of their integrity. We will continue to use this company because we know that we're in such good hands. Waking up early to a hot house because the AC went out during the night was the worst thing that happened Thursday. With an 8 month old baby, we needed help! My husband called True Home Maintenance on his lunch break, and Travis promptly showed up to save our day. That was the best part of Thursday. After he fixed the AC, he then went above and beyond and opened all of our vents (that have been closed since we moved in, a year and a half ago). We've had to use our AC on a warmer setting since it is now working more efficiently and was freezing us out. Thank you Travis, and True Home a maintenance for the wonderful service. I will always recommend you! read more
