Thanks Yelp! for sending me here. I picked up a salad and pizza and thought both were amazing. The salad was fresh and simple, and the flavors blended well together. You know the two famous pizza places across the street from each other in Naples? Well, this pizza might be on that level. Wood oven. Fluffy dough with a crispy outside. Quality ingredients. They proudly display their napoletano pizza authorization, and it's deserved. Kinda pricey (like Moab), and the atmosphere is cement floors and diner tables/chairs. But oh the food. read more

I was really impressed by their menu, which boasted a large assortment of pastas and pizza. I rarely see a place that has a calzone, so I ordered that. We also got a gluten free pizza and the chicken alfredo. The calzone was very large, but also kind of hard to eat. Something about the cheese and thick crust made it heavy. I would have liked more tomato sauce, and also for the mushroom like I ordered instead of the sausage "surprise" I got. The gluten free pizza was good, although the menu does say it may contain trace amounts of gluten because they use the same surfaces and oven. The chicken alfredo was average. I liked the creme brûlée. The tiramisu was "more vanilla than coffee" and practically oozing. read more

Disappointed in our meal here. There was a 30 minute wait for a table when we arrived so we decided to wait at the bar, which I guess is not allowed in Utah unless you order food. Well, they never called our name and there were empty table so the bar tender seated us at one. I guess she never told the server because we waited a long time. Finally, we placed our order for food. We had the calamari. The breading was delicious but the calamari itself was super tough. I haven't had calamari this tough in 20 years. I also had the salad with pear and goat cheese. This was just okay, not much goat cheese and the dressing was a little overpowering. We had the mushroom truffle pizza. This was really good. Our server never checked back with us until we were done so we ate our meal without beverages. We were there over 2 hours and only had a glass of water and a beer between the two of us. read more

Great calzones, but took away 1 star because they don't have pepperoni which my wife loves. She ended up getting ham and liked it.

Wow, I have to say I was not expecting amazing pizza in Moab, UT, but that's exactly what we got! We're from the NY/NJ area so we definitely have high standards for pizza, and we were so pleasantly surprised by this place. We got two types of pizzas and they were both delicious, baked well, and the sauce was very tasty. We also got the meatball and buratta apps, and they were also delicious! And so were the drinks!! Service was great, too. I thought we were going to have to wait for a while because the place was packed, but don't let that deter you; we got sat in under 5 mins. A solid place for pizza. I ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was great. I enjoyed how they used minimal tomato sauce yet there's hints of tomato in every bite. The dough was thin which is ideal for me. As for the portion size, one order can easily feed one person and have some leftover. read more

Very rude hostess had a "could not care less" attitude. Waitress was friendly and helpful. She came back twice to tell me the restaurant was out of stock of two of the limited choice of beer but was very nice about it. We ordered the pear and Gorgonzola salad which was terrible. Dry mixed lettuce with 2 tiny blobs of cheese and a couple thin slices of pear. Dressing came separately and was almost certainly from a bottle. We then had a dried, overcooked chicken parm and an underdone pizza with a greasy limp crust. All for $80. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

The pizza was delicious! The server was quick and good! Salads were big enough to split.

We each ordered a pizza since the menu says that they are "personal sized" but could only eat half of each. Each pizza was about 12" inches diameter and had 6 slices. The mushroom pizza and the eggplant, roasted pepper and caramelized onion Neapolitan pizzas were delicious. The place was very busy but we were promptly seated and the pizzas came out quickly. The only downside is that the parking lot is rather rough. read more

Literally my favorite place. If Antica Forma had 100,000 fans, I'd be one. If they had 1,000, I'd be one. I'd they had freaking 10, I'd still be one. If they had 0, I'm no longer walking on Earth. I say this with strong support and a slight obsession of their environment, their staff, and the food. Every time I am there, I am reminded why I love it so much. I'm giving this place a two because the service was awful. I was by myself and I really felt like such an inconvenience to the staff. The woman who took my order seemed preoccupied. I told her twice what I wanted and my order still came out wrong. Then when it was finally corrected, I had to wait 5 minutes for silverware. I was told by another employee that, "Everything is being washed right now." The place was not at capacity. I then had to wait over 10 minutes for my check. She was busy laughing with the hostesses, not paying attention to her tables. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo. It was alright. I'd give them another chance because the pizza looked fantastic. But I'll definitely be going with a group of people next time. Maybe then I'll get some attention. read more

Rolled into town have starved and wanting pizza. Checked the Yelps and found these guys. Pros: Super fast service, friendly staff, good quality ingredients. Cons: Like everything in Moab, it's going to be a little pricy. That said, we were able to both eat for around $30 for takeout. The details: We ordered a kids pepperoni pizza (8'), the meatballs, the fried cheese sticks, and a salad. The only thing that was disappointing were the fried cheese. A different take on the traditional mozzarella sticks. I think they were covered in panko? By the time we got our food back to the hotel they were cold so I don't know if I can give a fair assessment. The pizza was really good, but the toppings were very scanty. That can be typical for this style of pizza, but if you are a toppings person this might not be your thing. The meatballs were excellent, and the salad was nice, fresh, and light. Overall the food is a quality and reasonably priced. We will definitely try it again sometime. read more

Super disappointed with take out. Cold, under cooked, not much flavor, and soggy middle.

Perfect dinner stop (8 pm) after seeing sunset in Arches. We were seated quickly. We had cocktails, meatballs and pizzas. Everything was excellent and served quickly. The outdoor patio with fountain and misting was cool and perfect. The servers were so attentive and quick. Would definitely recommend! read more

Don't expect a three star michelin service BUT.. I'm italian and this is hands down the BEST pizza I have had in the United States in my 10+ years. What is even more unbelievable is that I accidentally found it in the middle of the desert after a 6 hour drive from Denver and a quick visit to Castle Highway and Hand Horse point view for sunset. Dinner was great! First of all such a well run establishment. The food was so good. Especially the pizza! My husband had one with prosciutto and arugula on it and loved it. Overpriced for bland pizza. I've had great pizza. This is not great pizza. Menu says pizza is personal-sized. No - it is huge and served without a plate. They just bring you a giant pizza - no plates offered. Weird. So, we had two big pizzas. The biggest mistake was the espresso, which can't possibly actually be espresso, at least not the night I was served whatever it was that was far too hot (even after 10 minutes it burned my mouth) and it tasted like instant. Patio was nice, but I still wouldn't return here if in Moab again. This was one of our most expensive, yet least favorite meals of the entire trip. The reviews really misled. read more

The pizza here is truly exceptional, authentic italian pizza. The crust really makes it--whatever they are doing with the special process they use works. We actually think the pizza is even better the next day. ok we ordered the mozzarella caprese and pizzas: carciofri antica forma esposito quattro formaggi The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is the dining room could use an upgrade and the quattro formaggi (4-cheese) pizza we had, the soft cheese on it was super salty, like you-cannot-eat-it-salty. I thought maybe it was just the kids, but then tried it and yes, there was an issue. If you are getting a cheese pizza for the kids, I would go with regular cheese. The other feedback we had was that we did not like the prosciutto on the pizza. That is to say that although we like prosciutto in general, the ratio was too much for the pizza. The strips were too wide and there was too much of it. It overpowered it. We would order it without, as the caramelized onions were great. The true superstar of this restaurant is the mozzarella caprese. Just amazing! and the balsamic vinegar that the serve with it for you to drizzle over the basil--delicious! The mozzarella itself is exceptional--SO GOOD. I would even go so far as to say it is a must-have if you visit Moab. The mozzarella caprese is 5-star fine dining good! I do wish the lady I ordered from knew how to say it, though. Just because the food is so good and authentic, it would enhance the experience. (She said it "capree-see.") (Not trying to be picky, just trying to provide feedback I would appreciate if I were the owner.) Anyway, the food at this place is amazing! We did take-out twice and it was great.
