Oh my, I had a great experience here. I ordered the trio from David, and he was the perfect waiter. Great follow-up, and didn't hover. I was looking forward to the Mahi Mahi but was skeptical of the crab cake. I am usually disappointed by crab cakes because of the lack of crab. Boy, was I wrong about their crab cake, it was the best I have ever had. Very little breading and all crab!! The coconut prawn was huge and excellent. Ambiance and the view were great. Absolutely no fresh seafood at all I was so disappointed. While we were waiting for the ferry, I called Anthony's in Des Moines and yes, they have shrimp cocktail. Yes, they have crab cold or warm, but none of that was available at all at this restaurant and just to let you know their hamburgers are $27 and the salmon burger was $29 so for two burgers and happy hour entrée, entrée or cocktails and calamari. Our bill was almost $300 and it is right on the water right near all the peers in downtown Seattle next to where the ship docking is working. Anyway, calamari was good, but it was not what we went there for and we will never be back. Also, my son has his ID is a vertical and they would not allow him to have a cocktail. We've never had that problem anywhere else even though he's of age. all stars because of the waitress she was amazing and I feel bad for her to have to deal with us, asking for different items of crustacean that they did not have which I thought that was what Anthony's was about. read more

I came to Anthony's last month during the Boat Show. I figured it would be great! Anthony's is a solid restaurant with tasty food! Since Anthony's is right beside the Boat Show I fully anticipated it would be busy. We entered as it opened with quite a few other people and the hostess quickly seated all of us. Our waiter came over and quickly took our drink order and food order. We were prepared as the menu doesn't really change much from Anthony's to Anthony's. The table who was seated before us also put their order in. They were seated at one of the large tables looking toward the water and us. I mention this because it would soon become awkward. As we sat sipping on our drinks more people were coming in. Soon the restaurant was very full! Then it became apparent there was a staffing issue. I don't know if someone called out sick or if it wasn't staffed appropriately but our waiter was the only waiter for the entire side of the restaurant. The hostess stepped in and tried bringing out plates but that seemed to cause more issue as people kept receiving meals they hadn't ordered. It quickly became a circus. The table that was seated behind me threw their menu down and stormed out because they hadn't had anyone stop over and even get their drink order. My friend and I ended up getting our food several minutes before the table that was seated before us did and they appeared to have ordered the same thing as we did - fish and chips. It wasn't fast but I wasn't expecting it to be fast. As my friend and I ate I was conscious that the one man stared at us from across the aisle. Awkward! We didn't get another round of drinks because we never saw our waiter again after he took our order. I can't say I was surprised because the man was moving around like Sonic the Hedgehog taking orders and trying to correct mistakes. It wasn't pretty. Food tasted great. I went with a party of 6 including 3 adults and 3 kids. The kids enjoyed the view and kept watching sea animals and boats. We ordered multiple dishes including crab fettuccini, crab cakes, clam chowder and fried tempura w vegetables. The clam chowder was off the hook and I usually only like Ivars or dukes. This is my new fav. It is cheap for a cup and comes with oyster crackers. The food overall was pricey though and we went on Father's Day. It's simply just another diner that charged exorbitant prices due to it's waterfront location although I appreciate the chef and the staff's work. The service was great and our server was very much attentive, helpful, and friendly. The food was okay for how much you pay ($40-60 a dish) and there's nothing special about the dishes either. Came here after a day out at the Sunday game with friends. Looking for a place that open, not too crowded and with some good options. I wasn't really feeling seafood even though that is the primary attraction here. My party opted for the Northwest Mussels which was a pleaser, and the presentation was pretty good, though they looked a bit small to me. I went with the Northwest Tenderloin Filet a decently sized hand-cut filet and cooked just right. It comes with Gorgonzola truffle butter and port demi sauce, and champ potatoes. never heard of gorgonzola truffle butter but man it really added to the steak as opposed to regular ol' butter being topped on a steak. I had a 'Prickly Pear' tequila cocktail that wasn't bad either. Strong, almost a bit too strong but not bad. Service was alright, wait staff was friendly enough but disappeared long amounts of time and could've used water refills a couple times. Tried this place last night on our work trip. Ahi tuna nachos were 10/10. I got the scallop entree and my boss got the salmon. Scallops were amazing- I'd give a 9/10 but the salmon was not good at all. It was definately overcooked so it was hard to tell if the quality was even that good. This is my second time at this location. I chose to have the same meal i had during my previous visit. My tempura shrimp was fantastic. I also had an excellent bowl of clam chowder. My guest had the Double R Ranch ribeye steak. The first steak came out overcooked, but our hostess quickly took care of it. In just a couple of minutes, the brought a perfect medium cooked steak back to the table. It tasted awesome. The service was great and I appreciated not have to haggle with proving that something was not right. They just took care of it. That spoke volumes to me about their customer service. The ambiance is nice and if you are going in the off-peak season, it is not crowded. This is a great place to have a great meal and their prices are fair. read more

We came here for our 20th wedding anniversary and had high expectations because of the reputation of the Anthony's brand, to say we were dissatisfied is a major understatement. First we arrived with our service dog and the host after checking us in excused themselves and went and fetched the manager "Mike" who told us dogs weren't allowed. We told him he is a service dog and then he asked for his certification. Certification is not a requirement for services dogs per the ADA. He then required us to put the service dog vest on our dog which again are not required per the ADA, we complied because we wanted dinner. We told Mike that the ADA allows him to ask two questions, 1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? See rules here https://www.ada.gov/resources/service-animals-faqs/ Mike didn't bother to ask the questions and they sat us finally. No apology was offered. We ordered a Diet Coke for my wife and a peach lemonade for myself which were ok. My wife ordered the Brie appetizer and I ordered the clam chowder. The Brie was served cold and just wasn't good and the waiter comped it, my clam chowder was nothing special but it was ok. For mains my wife opted for the vegetable risotto and I the Fresh Dungeness crab cakes with coconut rice and green beans. The risotto was just mush and so overcooked it would have passed for baby food, I don't know how it even made it to our table because even the kids on master chef junior would know better than to serve that, professional chefs should be ashamed to call that food. The crab cakes were not cleaned well and I had a bunch of shell in the cakes and again their texture was just mush, the rice was cooked very poorly and was lumped together like it had been sitting all night after being made this morning, the green beans were ok. We asked for our check, paid and on our way out I got the name of the manager from the host. Guess how many times they acknowledged our anniversary.... None! I put it on the reservation and you couldn't even be bothered to wish us a happy anniversary. The views of the ocean are nice and the noise level inside made having a conversation nice so if you want poorly made food and be able to talk to your party this is the place for you. read more

Our server came frequently at first and was very professional but then other than an assistant pouring water she was MIA. The table next to us who arrived after us, got their food at least 30 minutes before us. Soup and salad had arrived but our entrees took over an hour. No chance to ask for another drink the whole time. I think they share staff between their two restaurants upstairs and down. I used to live a few blocks from Anthony's and I loved making the short walk to have my favorite fish and chips and cup of clam chowder on a regular basis. I have since moved away and returned to my old favorite spot 6 years later. I was sad and disappointed that the fish was no longer the same. The batter is no longer light and crispy, it was dense and over fried. I even paid more for Lincod vs regular cod and the freshness factor was lacking. The clam chowder had the same great flavor but the clams were not as fresh. We arrived around 2pm, and the tall guy who took us to the table was snarky (grumpy). The server was pleasant but the food service was slow. The only thing that had t changed is the outside seating on a perfect Seattle summer day! We've been to Anthony's a few times before and we're quite surprised last night. We sat and waited for our drinks and bread at our table for 15 to 20 minutes and then the waitress brought just the iced tea. The salads and the clam chowder arrived before our drinks. The halibut was dry and hard and the steak was literally raw after asking it to be medium plus. The view out the window was nice but definitely not worth $500. I don't think we will be going back. Date night! Made a last minute reservation for right before closing on a Saturday night. Customer service- amazing! Very sweet & attentive from the hostess to our waiter! I'm from Texas & I was loving the hospitality! Drinks - I ordered the old fashioned and this by far was the best I've ever had. So smooth yet had the strength of any old fashioned. Food- AMAZING. Great spot on the water in downtown Seattle. Had dinner here last night at the recommendation of my local colleagues. The location is outstanding with great views of the water, mountains, and city. I recommend starting with local raw oysters. They were outstanding. As my entree I had the Halibut which was also outstanding. The potato and asparagus sides were great as well. I had the cheesecake for dessert which again was excellent. The service at the bar was great. The bartender was great at pairing wines with the different dishes. Anthonys was for a long time in my radar & list because of great location and view. As a local person that lives in downtown Seattle I prefer seafood places. I decided to book this restaurant for Christmas eve since its pricey and I was thinking its great for special occasion. First we were greated and seated not by the window even tho I had notes on my reservation on Open Table. My husband went to ask hostess if they can give us a better table. They said they dont have at the moment. I saw table in front of us was empty and they seated gentlemen there that came after us just few minutes later. My husband went again to ask hostess why they ignored us and put there somebody that came after us. Manager Leyla came and accompanied us to the window seat table in the back of the restaurant. I really appreciate that because we were a bit disappointed with gesture in the beginning. Food. I am sorry to say but food was bad. We ordered seafood tower that came with all kind of delicious oysters, shrimps, scallops but mussels were horrible. One mussel was green color and when I bite it was very bitter so I had to spit it out. It tasted rotten. Also rest of mussels sauce was very odd flavor nor me nor my husband liked it. Also many were in closed shells, thats mean most of it wasn't fresh. We told waiter about it but he just ignored it. I am glad I didnt got sick after that. After this seafood tower rotten mussel I lost my appetite. My husband still felt hungry and he ordered COD. Cod was very overcooked. All their items has a coconut rice as a side. Let me tell you, folks, I am positively JAZZED--about the service I received at Anthony's Pier 66! Our server, Amelia, was an absolute dynamo of hospitality. From the moment we sat down, they treated us like long-lost family, regaling us with their menu knowledge and delivering every dish with a smile that could light up a small town. Now, I've dined at plenty of establishments in my day, but rarely have I encountered such top-notch, grade-A, cream-of-the-crop service. Our drinks? Never empty. Our food? Delivered faster than a jackrabbit on a date! And don't even get me started on their impeccable timing with the check--right when we needed it, but never rushed. By the time we left, I was full, happy, and already plotting my return. If you have the pleasure of being served by Amelia, consider yourself among the luckiest diners on the planet. AMAZING, DELICIOUS AND FRESH!!! While visiting Seattle I found this restaurant by the waterfront with a nice view to the Ferris wheel. Raw oysters were just the right amount of sweet and salty flavors and very fresh! Fried Calamari was perfectly cooked and tasty, I wasn't a big fan of the sauce that came with the calamari tho, for entree with help of Brennan I decided to get the Wild Alaska King Salmon and it was perfectly grilled, juice and the sun dried tomato sauce on the salmon was simply DELICIOUS! Their homemade cornbread was incredibly tasty and warm, I almost ordered an order of all cornbread pudding lol. Brennan was my server, he was very sweet, friendly and helpful answering my many questions I had about the menu. Masks, vaxxed card or negative test is required. On April 30th (I am so late writing this!) my husband and I took the water taxi over from Alki to go eat at Anthony's for the last of my birthday bonuses. Sign up to Anthony's emails and you can hear about all the specials BTW. We had a great late lunch and everything was very tasty, and like always, the fish at Anthony's is the freshest. What made all really special was the whole staff team, especially our waitperson Riley! He totally got that we wanted to sit together on the same side so we could both look out to the pier to see the Holland America cruise ship that was out there that day...because it was the one my husband proposed to me on. When we arrived, the host told us to wait while they got the table ready. We waited about 5-10 minutes. When we finally sat down, it took a few minutes before someone came to greet us. She gave us menus and brought us water. She then disappeared for a while before coming back to take our orders. She explained that she was new which was very evident, but she was very nice so we just let it be. We ordered ahi nachos, which was really good, but I thought the fish and the chips would be separated. We waited a little too long to eat these because the chips were kind of soggy. We also got a dozen oysters. These were very fresh. They were good. We also ordered shrimp tempura which was supposed to come with tempura shrimp, asparagus, and jasmine rice. The shrimp was good but maybe a little too breaded. The asparagus was pretty good. However, the jasmine rice was super mushy. Definitely not the kind of jasmine rice we were used to. (We're Asian, so I'm very familiar with jasmine rice). I wanted steak, so we ordered the rib eye. It came with some sort of garlic basil butter which was not bad, but super salty. They steak was cooked pretty well, but you can definitely tell it wasn't from a legit steakhouse. But can't blame them, I should have known better. Such a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view of the Puget Sound! They do usually have a wait, so highly recommend making a reservation if you don't wanna wait 2 hours! We order crab dip that was phenomenal! The clams app was decent could have used a little more flavor! My bf ordered the steamed crab & I will say we were surprised with how much meat we were able to get out of it! Very good I got the seafood pasta & it was a great portion!! I was looking forward to this place, but the food quality didn't measure up, unfortunately. The location of this place is excellent, and so was the customer service, especially since our family made a last-minute reservation on a holiday, so we were happy to receive a quick seating arrangement. The views and even the inside wood look for when it's too cold outside are date-worthy and impressive, the quality of the food on the other hand... For the price, this place doesn't measure up. Unfortunately, the seafood freshness was questionable, and for like $25-$60+ plate, the food quality is pretty high on the importance meter. The cleanliness of the plates and cups could have been better, and we had to return one of the water cups as it still had lipstick marks on it. This place might be better suited for only grabbing oysters and cocktails and not treating it like a legit dinner spot, as the quality just isn't there. Might give one of the other locations a try in the future, but for now, the one-off of Alaskan Way was disappointing. read more

The recent reviews place for this place are pretty accurate. Really high prices for food that I would describe as "only OK." I tried the halibut and Dungeness crab fettuccine and found both to be lacking. First, the halibut was a bit rubbery and tough. I personally wasn't a fan of the sweet and savory combo with the berry jam and cornbread pudding that felt a bit too dense. As for the fettuccine, I couldn't taste the crab at all. It basically tasted like an ordinary fettuccine with no seafood flavor or addition. Wouldn't come back here at the current price point. read more
