I haven't visited Anthony's in years, and after our horrific experience at Anthony's in Seattle, I wasn't planning on dining anytime soon. However, we attended an event hosted by Providence Regional Hospital (Epicurean Affair) and Anthony's was the venue. We've been to this event before so we knew what to expect. The staff were friendly and courteous. Our server was especially efficient (I should have recalled her name, shame on me). The view is beautiful and it was a gorgeous evening. Oysters were fresh and the poke appetizer was very good. The salad had a blood orange dressing which was not my favorite, but the salmon entree was perfectly cooked. I will definitely return with friends another time as I have always enjoyed the food at Anthony's. read more

So I wanted to treat myself. First and foremost get ready to pay premium for the location at the Everett Harbor. I went after Happy Hour by myself, first mistake. I was 1 of 3 at the bar, service seemed local as the tender was counseling another local patron. No bread offered as at the tables, Oysters $3+ per minimum, Ouch! Broccoli way overcooked and a microwaved, burn the palate gummy baked potato. Hopefully there is another option for fresh seafood in the Everett area, the fresh Rockfish was good, only other option was frozen Salmon at $35/plate, What? You can do much better Anthony's, broccoli should be green, do not serve and nuke spuds for the price, maybe some carrots, some color on the plate for the price, come on now. read more

While dining at Anthony's on a beautiful sunset Friday, somehow my husband's steak and prawns arrived without the steak. The manager apologized and not only comp'd our entire dinner, but gave us the steak to take home and also gave us a Gift Certificate for another meal. As a caterer for 40 years, this was spectacular service and we were very grateful to Paul, the manager. Thus far, we have told three of our friends and will spread the word to many more. Came for Fathers Day Brunch and normally this would be a hit! Good things first the blueberry coffee cake is delicious, the fruit plentiful and the serving staff attentive. Now for the not so good... ordered the crab eggs benedict and both eggs were harder than hard no running yolk that makes eggs benedict a star. Asked the waiter for a new one, the one they brought was harder and no runny yolk again . The waiter said this is normal due to the amount of people coming everything is pre-made so the eggs aren't runny. Disappointing for sure since it was a $28 entree.... read more

I work in the service industry so I am already super grateful to be dined on myself!! I want to start by saying my husband and I had the most amazing first date night out together since COVID. The food was great-- we started with the calamari, then had the clam chowder, I had the clams and my husband had the Wagyu steak for our entrees-- everything was cooked perfect and delicious. I went online to order curbside pickup. The item we wanted was not on their to-go menu. We both wanted the seafood fettuccine as I've had this before dining in and it's fantastic. I called and the person who answered stated that it might not be an item that packs well to-go. He transferred me to the kitchen to see if I can request this. The person I spoke to stated it was okay to order this, as well we ordered a Caesar salad. Picked up in 15 minutes. It was all packed very well. They even gave us bread and butter. It was my first time here. I think I may need to come again an order something different. I came during lunch hour. I was disappointed about my Cod Burger, fries, and coleslaw (asian inspired).. Wendy's Cod burger tastes even better. I tried a friend of mine's ponku salmon bowl and she didnt expect it to be asian inspired. We were not expecting our seafood to be combined with Asian inspired combos. Prices are overpriced for the quality. I am a sea food lover and ill give this place another try! The food was bad and the service is terrible. We were waiting for 1.5 hours for the food and the waitress messed up our orders. The waitress Reanna (spell) was bad, she messed up our order and did not even say sorry for that. We requested to talk to the manager and waited for over 20 mins still not seeing the manager. We requested again and the manager showed up. What we want to hear is the "sorry " from them but kind of disappointed that the manager Alisha was even worse than the waitress. She kept saying the waitress though ... and she believed they did it correctly...well, we don't want to go to too much detail about it but just want to let you know that Alisha is the worst manager I talked to in my life she did not know how to handle simple situation. We recently went here for my birthday dinner (yesterday) because we got a gift card from a family member. We ordered Caesar salad (needs more dressing) but very nice citrus flavor , clam chowder (must order) and I don't even like clam chowder($8 salad $7 cup of soup) ! For the appetizer we got the crab, spinach & artichoke dip. $16 . Was good but very small portion size. I wouldn't order it again if I didn't have the gift card. For the entree my husband got the crab (3/4 lb) $31 and I got the 4 piece lincod fish and chips. $26. I do not like the slaw it comes with, I prefer a more traditional slaw. It has too much ginger and takes away from the way a traditional slaw is made in my opinion. Their tartar sauce is really nice and full of flavor, I even asked for extra. The French fries were pretty good too. If I were go to again I would change my entree to pasta. I saw a few fettuccini dishes that went out that made me regret what I chose for an entree ! I still liked my entree because the fish was very fresh and the breading is very light. I was also pretty full because I ate a lot of bread. The dip came with bread (spinach crap dip appetizer ) and they also bring a free basket of bread that we were munching on before. I give Anthony's a 7/10. It's a beautiful place for a romantic dinner. Our total came out to $95 and we tipped $20. Our server didn't come around too much but she was there for when we needed. They also have people going around refilling the water so it's never empty which is great in my book. My favorite thing about this place is the view. We went around 6:15 which was the perfect time to see the sunset. The desserts also looked heavenly but we were too full. If we were to return we would probably get one salad , two soups, the crab, and fettuccini. read more

My mom and I came in on a Sunday between 2-3. We were told we would have to wait 20+ minutes for a table, so we opted to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. 30-45 minutes go by, I'm observing only half of the dining room and bar tables are seated. it didn't make sense for us to sit there and wait.... so finally I ask the bartender, "are they going to come get us or shout for us? We want to order food but are waiting until we are seated" and then she asks if we have a ticket? No one gave us this when we put our names down for a reservation.... then we end up having to get one to get a table?! So we are both obviously grumpy at this point, neither of us have eaten all day. Seconds after making my senior mother get up and grab a paper ticket, the hostess comes and asks for us.... why not just seat us immediately instead of the weird power trip/formalities? We finally sit down at our table .... it takes almost an hour to get service. Mind you we have had drinks at this point but no water, no bread, no apps, etc. When the server finally brings us a bread basket, the butter is. like smashed onto the top of the basket of bread and he doesn't remove it, just slams the basket down. This is supposed to be "fine dining" but the hosts and servers are acting like it's applebees. My mom makes a point to say something and the server gets offended and the barely interacts with us unless I ask him for things. We finally ordered around 3-3:30. a salad, crab cakes and fish/chips takes almost an hour. Food quality at Anthonys has really gone downhill... too much oil/butter/grease across all of our dishes. We must be gluttons for punishment because we decided to get dessert... the seasonal cheesecake... you can tell someone tried to brûlée sugar on top of the cheese cake but like forgot to brûlée it all... so we ended up with a cheesecake topped in granulated sugar. I love long meals and taking my time, but the timing and attitude of all of the staff was uncomfortable. It felt like we were being discriminated against the moment we walked in. I don't appreciate this at all. When I go out to eat I like to spend a lot of money. Because we felt judged and the service was so poor, I honestly wish we had just walked out. My mom struggles with going out and as soon as we got in the car she started crying, saying if she wasn't so old people wouldn't have treated us so poorly. I'm so upset at this experience and I really hope a general manager reaches out to m after reading this. If someone doesn't try to make this right I will never go to an Anthony's establishment ever again..and I've been a frequent guest for 15+ years. read more

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. We made reservations, letting them know it was for a special occasion. This is a beautiful restaurant, but pricey. All the food was good with the exception of our main entree. I asked for my steak to be well done and it was rare. Our waitress wasn't very friendly. She nor any other staff acknowledged that it was our anniversary, so that was kind of a bummer. All in all a good experience, but we'll probably go elsewhere next time. read more

I've recently moved from Colorado to Washington and everyone's been raving about this restaurant. I finally found the time to give it a try and my bartender Tabitha was AHHMAZZING! She was friendly, prompt, and answered any questions I had about the menu. I had the lobster fettuccini and a few drinks. Last night we came back here for my grandma's birthday dinner (the other grandma). We had a reservation for 5 at 4:30 (when the dinning room opens). We were a few minutes early, and they made us wait until right at 4:30 to be seated. Unfortunately, their lobby has very little sitting room, so it was packed with everyone else there for their 4:30 reservation. When we finally got to our table, we were seated in the corner, with a beautiful view. Too bad the day wasn't nicer; plus, it was dark out. We all started off with drinks, and the server didn't write them down. She came back about 10 minutes later to double check our drinks again before putting them in the system. When she finally came back with our drinks, she left again, even though we told her we were ready to order our dinners. When she finally came back, she took our orders and was very long winded in explaining the side options and salad and soup options. I like to know what is available, but some of us are happy with the original offering, and we don't need you to tell us the option for every single dish. Here is the ridiculous part: The salads and the meals came at the same time. We're 5 people at this table, which is already somewhat crowded, on top of our drinks, and the numerous other things they think they need to keep on the tables, and now we have to somehow fit our meals and salads on the table. One of the people who brought the salads after the meal suggested making room on our hot plates to put the cold salad so that it would free up room. No thank you. They did however, apologize by comping us desert at the end of the meal (or in my grandma's case, another drink. :P ) Cam had the Mahi Mahi, I had the Mussels with Fries, mom and dad both had the steak and prawns, and grandma had the scallops. My mussels had kind of a gooey texture that I really didn't appreciate, and Cam's Mahi Mahi was incredibly bland. Grandma seemed to really enjoy the scallops though; she never finishes her meal and her plate was cleaner than my floor. Mom and Dad never really complain about steak, but I know they've had better. In the long run, the food was only so so, and with the way the service was, it's unlikely that I will go back for a normal meal. When you're paying roughly $25 a person, you expect good service. read more

I remember this location being better than the last time I was here. We went here to enjoy the view and have some crab cocktail among other items. First, we received one of the poorer seats in the house which had a poor view of the water. Secondly, we were forgotten about for some time as it took the waitress 15 minutes to come by to check in with us. Next, our food was not that great and the price was more than what the service and food warranted. All in all we will probably not be going back anytime soon. read more

Anthony's brings back memories of high school. It is a place where go to impress your prom date. This was the restaurant where I went with my best friend after we got jobs working at the same grocery store and called ourselves sophisticated because we ordered a platter of oysters once. This is the restaurant where I went with some friends as get together every New Year's Eve. This is a place where you go to feel grown up and classy. There was no hiding our age, but we sure had fun pretending to be adults. Now that I'm a bit older, I think back at how we were trying to get away with pretending to be adults but how that was impossible, now that I observe the crowd from a different perspective. With some notable exceptions, Antony's is just a typical, slightly pricier, slightly fancier American seafood restaurant. I feel like Anthony's caters to an older crowd. The ambiance was nice and the food was plated in an aesthetically appealing manner. It is pretty easy to predict your dining experience here - you will probably buy one or two appetizers - I'm guessing crab dip - and a $15 to $30 entrée and a desert. You know your appetizer and desert will taste good and possibly bland, but there won't be too many taste surprises or adventures. I will say that their Happy Hour in the lounge is a good deal if you can find a place to sit! $3 beers, 50 cent shooters, $3 sliders and $5 assorted appetizers. I had oyster shooters, crab dip and ahi nachos. They use tiny oysters. I would have preferred to pay a $1 or more and eaten a bigger oyster but its is better than throwing out the small ones. The crab dip was excellent and I wanted more ahi nachos. The concept is strange but it was the most popular appetizer at our table. I even think that it helped my brother convert from an all cooked fish eater to raw fish eater. He never liked poke or sashimi, but he has matured and taken a liking to the ahi nachos. They were mixed with onion and pineapple and served on what appeared to be taro chips or some other tuber or vegetable chips with a side of wasabi and ginger. My mom was looking for the shoyu, but that was what was lacking for her. We popped those babies like candy. Well, all of us, except for Dad. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. He even wanted his barbecued oysters to be "well done". They also have a good sunset combo. For about $20, you get a choice of appetizer, chowder / salad, entrée and desert. Other restaurants don't include appetizers in their meal specials! Hubby had the blue cheese salad. He could barely taste any blue cheese - it tasted more like a bland Caesar salad. So I would say, pick the Caesar salad, chowder, or shrimp cocktail. For his entrée he choose the flank steak - he likes his food spicier, so the steak tasted bland to him. My brother and I got taste of the garlic prawns. Tasted like prawns - good but nothing new. The sauce, however, tasted even better when you sopped it up with the bread. Now, that was good. I think that my brother is catching on to this good food thing. It was his idea to dip the bread in the sauce. I was disappointed by the lack of selections in the desserts. There were three, none of which appealed to my husband. My brother and mom had the peppermint ice cream with the chocolate on the side. It was suggested to us to get the chocolate sauce on the side, and I think that it helped them a bit. Poor mom spit out the peppermint candies because she didn't like them. I think it had a lot to do with the texture and how distracting it was to chew it. It's ice cream, there usually isn't much chewing that goes on. My burnt cream was so-so The service here was excellent. It was a Friday so the place was packed. My group of five was sitting in a corner. Due to the location, the views of the last minutes of light on the water was beautiful. Later two large groups of 10+ came and they sat them on either side of us. It became a chore to get out as we had to squeeze by some diners. I think this could have been avoided. Also, the tabletop was jammed packed with stuff. It would have helped not to have the wine glasses at the table, but to bring it if someone ordered wine. The food is made from quality ingredients and my experience was pleasant. I just wished American seafood restaurants like Anthony's were a bit more exciting in their offerings, but it is a chain restaurant and seemed to be popular with large groups, so got to cater to a neutral flavor palette. I am not sure how excited I would be had it not been for the Happy Hour and the Sunset Dinner special. They were good deals and made for a memorable dining experience and a very happy birthday for my dad. read more

For my birthday this past October 30, my husband and I opted to go to Anthony's in Everett for a special meal. He made our reservation for 5:30pm, and we arrived at 5:15pm - this restaurant abides quite strictly to their reservation times, as we were taken to our table right at 5:30pm. As it was a special occasion, my husband requested a table by the window - and we got a gorgeous view overlooking the marina and Everett waterfront. We were greeted by our server promptly after seating; we were asked right away for drink or appy orders but needed additional time (we barely cracked the menu). It was nice to know that the service was going to be attentive, but not stuffy! I opted to have a roasted pear martini, which I thought was the perfect autumnal cocktail... in fact, it was so good I ordered a second one! Hubby had beer on tap. For dinner we both had the New England chowder; I the cup, my husband the bowl. Tasted like the ocean, as a good chowder should - though a few more clams would have been nice. For my entrée, I went for the Alaska weathervane scallops; they also offer an appetizer of scallops which came with a fennel slaw. When ordering, I asked if I could have the entrée scallops, but with a side of the coleslaw that comes with the appetizer (it just sounded so good!). Hubby ordered the dungeness crab fettucine. When our entrees arrived, it appeared the kitchen misinterpreted my order, as they prepared the appetizer-portion of scallops & slaw. The server apologized profusely and assured that the entrée would be coming right away. I enjoyed four plump and perfectly cooked scallops and was nearly full, when my entrée arrived. With it, 9 more scallops, tendercrisp green beans, and some rice pilaf. I was so full that I could barely struggle through the additional scallops and had to leave the beans and rice behind. Hubby said the pasta was the best he's ever had - and I agree, it was very tasty. It had the texture of freshly made noodles - not sure if they are, but would love to know where they source their pasta from! We were too full to indulge in dessert - despite an offer from our server for a complimentary birthday icecream. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening - and the kitchen's mistake was only our gain, co-incidentally. I wasn't expecting anything - but not only did the appetizer get comped (as it should since I didn't order it), but they also took 50% off my entrée. Quite honestly, the 50% off wasn't necessary but it did not go unnoticed, either. We gave our server a generous tip (based on the full bill amount). However, last week when it was ridiculously hot outside we thought this would be a great place to go for a little AC with a view. We were right about the view but not the AC, it was hot and sticky in there. Okay so the drinks were good, their fresh berry with vodka something or others and the appetizers were passable; how hard though is it to "make" raw oysters on the half shell and calamari? Okay, all right so the clam chowder wasn't bad either. We should have stopped while we were ahead. There were three of us and we all ordered different fish dinners; it really didn't matter, basically they were all the same. All three were fish with gross sauce, mushy rice and a few beans (not cleaned properly and make me choke btw....which I am not taking into consideration for my score....just putting it out there). Anthony's is expensive for the quality of food you get. My recommendation...stop at the clam chowder. read more

Last night we went to dinner and were seated for 20 minutes without any service (there was hardly anyone there). We decided to leave and let the manager know on the way out that we had never been served or even offered drinks and we left. She used our reservation and found our number, called us, and insisted she make it right. The servers, bussers, and manager were all very apologetic and more than made up for any frustration on our end. I've been a patron of Anthony's for years and what would have been my first bad experience was quickly made right by the staff. Their food and service have always been amazing. 100% recommend to come and have a nice dinner or relaxing brunch. read more

Located next to a small marina in Everett, is Anthony's Home port is a local chain of seafood places. large windows and a nice view is probably the best thing about this restaurant. They have salmon, and crab, and other assorted Seattle seafood, meaning salmon and crab, and then other seafood that comes from elsewhere. None of which is particularly good. This place tries to be all dressed up, and you will see people wearing suits to eat here, but its not that fancy, and the staff are poorly trained and amateurish. Also if I make a reservation for 7:00PM you better seat me by 7:05 otherwise why did I make a reservation, don't seat me at 7:20 like happened here. The first time I ate here, they overcooked my swordfish, even after I sent it back for being dried out, and my mothers halibut was raw. They did make good by comping the meal, but it was less than ideal. Also if I order the spinach salad with macadamia nuts and strawberries, because its strawberry season, you better make sure there are actually more than two slivers of strawberry in there. The clam chowder is not good, better than canned, but not by much, the best part about the meal is the bread. read more
