Anthony's Home Port provides consistent high quality Pacific Northwest themed dining. They always have mature professional servers and their food is always on par with the relatively higher price point they demand. I usually pick this place for business or family dinner when either I don't know everyone's taste in my party very well or people in the party doesn't exactly agree on what kind of food to have. I think these guys provide a nice set of offerings that accommodates most people. I'm so glad I got to experience this before I left!! The restaurant was very professional when it came to Covid precautions. I had the northwest duet of halibut and salmon. The halibut has a nice crust to it, however there wasn't much flavor to it. The salmon was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. I HIGHLY recommend the Creme brûlée cheesecake. My gosh, it was beyond amazing and the berry sauce just pushed it over the top. Come around sunset and you'll see just how beautiful this area really is read more

Stopped in last week and had chowder and Oysters. Chowder was as good as always. Oysters were nummy and we ordered off of the Waitresses discrimination of what they offered that day. A bit pricey 5.95ea but it was nice. read more

Hmmmmm. Easter brunch was a bit of a disappointment. I guees, if you want to eat out, you'll have to pay the price. I had the New Orleans breakfast, the highlight was supposed to be the shrimp, instead i think it was the potatoes! My meal was almost 3/4 potatoes and maybe 5 pieces of baby shrimp. Oh well! This is an update to a post I left a couple years ago. We had a great server. However, he was really swamped with tables since we all came in at the same time --- opening time. He did have a helper and she was certainly appreciated. They have the best lingcod & chips that I've ever tasted and we all said that at the table. I had ordered clam linguine and it was good with nothing wrong but when I tasted another's fish'n chips, they were so good I wished I had ordered those. Also, clam chowder was wonderful. read more

My interactions with Paul at Anthony's this evening have turned me from a guest into an enthusiastic promoter. Paul's level of first class customer service and attention to detail is what sets apart the good from the truly great restaurants, particularly those along Puget Sound's waterfront. Very much looking forward to dining with Anthony's again! While ordering this evening off the Online To-Go ordering menu I noticed it didn't have one of my Anthony's favorites, so I called the restaurant to see if an accommodation could be made. Not only did the dining manager, Paul, personally take my call this evening, but he also made sure the items I wanted could be prepared. Paul then took ownership of seeing that my order was deliciously made to perfection and handed it off to me himself as well. The leadership by example I saw (from the top) is truly impressive! We had our wedding "After Party" brunch here in August 2021 and everyone was so helpful and accommodating to make it happen and stay within Covid health requirements for all restaurants. Our small group had a fantastic and memorable time. Fast forward to yesterday and I really wanted fresh oysters on the half shell. I dropped in at lunchtime and sat at the bar, I had a great view on a sunny day. The service was incredible, Myrna clearly loves what she does. I started with a French 75 and steamed clams, sooo good. Then the shucked oysters, and although they weren't served with mignonette, every oyster was very fresh and briny, the Albariño was a fantastic accompaniment. The star of my day was their lunch Caesar and cioppino.... Their version has no shrimp! I'm allergic to shrimp and am not used to being able to safely order it off menus. If one more hostess seats us to the corner next to the wall by the door table when we go out for lunch as a family I will just walk out. When she asked "is this ok" I asked politely if we could perhaps have another open table away from the door and wall and with a view, gestured to one. She replied "I can't, I would be double seating that server and you would have to go hack a wait a few minutes" this was after she sat a couple who came on after us (just us three, then this other couple at the host stand) at an ideal four top she could have given is if she was not busy sitting us at the kiddie table. Food here is not special for a seafood place. Hostess needs to not make her staffing issues the customer's issue. Soured the whole experience. As well as the overcooked rubbery salmon on the salmon salad. read more

We came by here for an early lunch on a Monday with a party of 25 people. We waited for only 5 minutes for the staff to set up tables together for a group this large. I was impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. We received excellent service! Our drinks never went empty and our food came out at the same time and in a timely manner. We all had a great time and never felt rushed as we took our time. The food was delicious. Our group had such a wide variety from their special fish dish to their rice bowls to their salads. Some of us managed to squeeze in dessert and that was also delicious! It's huckleberry season. You can't go wrong with ordering anything with huckleberry! Oh...and the view here is amazing. No matter where you're seated, you have a great view of the waterfront. read more

I have eaten at Anthony's many times in the past, and the service and food has always been excellent. Today we took a friend to brunch to celebrate her birthday. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was very good as expected. My partner and our guest ordered the bacon and eggs, and I ordered the Fisherman's scramble. The warm blueberry coffeecake was delicious. Our main courses arrived quickly. The bacon and eggs were very satisfactory, but I was a bit disappointed with my fisherman's scramble. The bacon was good and perfectly done. The potatoes however, were over cooked and very salty. The eggs in the scramble were done nicely, and there was an acceptable amount of shrimp. It was difficult to find the crab though. I did locate three tiny slivers though. There was only about a teaspoon of the Moray sauce on the scramble. Also served with each meal was half a strawberry, a small thin slice each of pineapple and cantaloupe. read more

An absolute joke! false advertising "All you can eat crab feed" for dinner and dinner and no reservation after 5:00pm. I believe this was a bait and switch tactic to get people committed to sitting down here, and trying to keep them there out of desperation. We spoke with the main manager who could care less they ran out and was extremely defensive without resolution. Been coming here randomly over the years. My parents tend to come up this way more often back when they had crab nights. I wish they would bring this back! We met for a reservation and the restaurant was running a little behind. The manager ended up comping appetizers for our group. Nice touch - also gave us a beautiful table with the sunset. Thank you for recognizing and respecting our reservation and time. Free apps def make it less painful! For dinner we had Tempura Prawns & veggies (subbed the coleslaw for rice and it was delicious!), two steaks - which were cooked perfectly and the sides were plentiful and yummy. I had the Ahi steak with veggies & rice. The Ahi was perfectly seared with a raw middle. Yum. Absolutely delicious. Cocktails were yum - the Pear martini didn't disappoint. Desserts were all great - a peach slump with amazing vanilla icecream, chocolate mousse and the fruit (peaches perhaps? I didn't eat this one but it was raved about!) cheesecake were all served beautifully and decadent on the palate. I am glad I ordered a Spanish coffee with dessert so it cut the sweet a bit. Overall beautiful view, great company and excellent food. Will definitely be back when we decide to hit up this area again for a nice sunset dinner. Thanks again staff. read more

We stumbled upon this restaurant while staying at the Port Gardner Inn nearby. Talk about love at first sight! They gave us a table by the window with a great view, which kept our baby entertained looking at the boats. The dinner was a three course winter special which was delicious and reasonably priced. The garlic shrimp entree was amazing, fresh, large shrimps. Love the creme brûlée dessert as well. Amazingly enough, our toddler who's been super fussy, was calm the entire dinner and allowed us to enjoy all three courses. She seemed to enjoy the romantic ambiance of our date night. My family came here for my sisters bday lunch. I was excited because my whole family except my husband loves seafood. We were a party of 13. We were greeted right away. We had a reservation so we got sat pretty much immediately. It took about 15 minutes for our server to come to us. The restaurant was mostly empty. I'm not sure how many tables he had in his section. The drinks took forever to come out. After being there for about 40 minutes he came back and took our order. We had fish tacos, the salmon, a black bean burger, fish n chips, Mac n cheese with shrimp, and a couple kid meals. The fish in the fish n chips was over cooked and the breading was really brown and extra crunchy. The Mac n cheese with shrimp was pretty much tasteless. I had the salmon. It was a huge let down. The salmon itself was way overcooked and was like rubber, and the sauce they drizzled on it was tasteless. I tried adding salt and pepper to it but it was just not edible. It was very underwhelming for a seafood restaurant to say the least. My husband enjoyed his black bean burger. They do have a rotating seasonal menu of sorts as far as desserts and drinks go. We came when fresh peaches were used. The dessert my sister had was amazing! Was like fresh peach pie with home made vanilla ice cream on it. The staff were all friendly. Overall friendly but really slow service and the food was a let down. Not sure we will be back. read more

My wife and I dine here often and on Oct 10th we celebrated a birthday at dinner. My wife had the cod as her entre. She said it was wonderful, perfectly cooked with a delicious side dish. I had the scampi prawns. The first thing I noticed was that there were four prawns in the dish, not five as there has been in the past. Four prawns seems like an appetizer, five prawns seems more like dinner. And typically this dish is served with some melted butter beneath the prawns, but in this case there was no butter. The bottom of the dish was dry. I fixed that by taking some of the butter served with the bread and placing it in the dish. It melted and the problem was solved. The service was wonderful and the ambiance was incredible as always. We loved the huckleberry beverage and dessert. Thanks for another great dining experience. read more

We visited recently on a Saturday night, granted it's busy, very busy... highly recommend reservations, however if you decide to take a chance the bar has open sitting, depending if there is a stool available. Pros: truly kind attentive servers, hosts, etc. I cannot thank our server enough for retrieving my keys before i realized I forgot them, and for taking sound care of our group of 8. Cons: prices a tad high for portion. Possibly because of my dietary restrictions, lunch didn't have a lot of options for sugar-free paleo and my $10 salad was small. One of my husband's favorite restaurants so treated him for his birthday. Can't beat the ambiance and the food is always good.

Bland small portions of food and ridiculous prices. $50 for a PEICE of a filet of salmon. I could buy the whole filet for 15 - 25 dollars. Their vegetables are most likely frozen and extremely sparse in variety. Potatoes tasted like a 4th grader tried to be creative. Have been coming here for over 25 years and love it every now and again. The service, the view, the food... all pretty dang good. This weekend we had brunch again and my meal was delicious, crab cake bowl. I miss the crab cake benny they used to do, should bring that back! Brunch is served with fresh fruit and coffee cake which is always hot and served with cinnamon butter. Others in my party had the eggs benny and seafood omelette which they didn't think had much flavor sadly. When you're paying around $25 average a head (including drink) it's a let down to not have much flavor. All in all a good trip nonetheless and we'll be back again. read more

Had a great experience here on Saturday night! Made a reservation and it was a packed house so definitely recommend on weekends to do so. We called in the AM and got a 6pm reservation. First, the service was top notch. Checked in frequently, waters, on food, all of it. Second, the food! Salads were so delicious. Lots of cheese (I love cheese, so kudos to the salad maker). The halibut was perfectly cooked. My mom got the copper river salmon and it was so yummy if we had room we'd order more. The drinks were excellent! Special was rhubarb so we got 3 total between us. All in all, you won't regret coming here! read more

Sorry the patio is closed. Not a good phase I wanted to hear when I walked in. So I sat at the bar. Beautiful view still of the water. Aubance I give it a 9. Had to knock down a point for not being on the patio. The fish and chips were very good, but, the salad with the ginger asion dressing throws the whole plate off. Food I give it a 8. Not bad at all,but nothing to write home about. The service. The server was on it during my whole experience. I would have to give him a 9. So, I was searching for a good restaurant to dine prior to going to the King & Country concert at the Angel Arena Several good restaurants were on my list, but settled on Anthonys. When we got there? It took about 5mins before we got seated. Our reservation was for 530pm.. we got there around 540pm due to heavy traffic. The bite would've been exceptional if it was during day but we couldn't see anything since it was dark out. It will do them good to light up the outside so people can still enjoy the ocean view and not waste it that asset. It took another 5-10 minutes before they took our order. The lady who seated us was very warm and friendly. The waiter was likewise very nice and polite. I did forget to inform him that we had a concert to catch at 7, but the order still came out so very long. Even if we say they took our orders at 6pm.. our food didn't get served until 650pm.. we had to rush eating to make it to the concert in time. We finished 710.. Good enough the arena is 5 minutes away. Our waiter kept on apologizing.. but either with a concert or not, orders shouldn't take that long. We got Manila clams and crab cakes for appetizers. Both we're below my expectations. Manila clams should have that white wine taste to it, but this one just didn't have any. Plus the overall dish lacked flavor. The crab cakes? I thought they were too soft, Mind you they are breaded, but I've had better. I ordered the special for the evening, surf & turf. I wanted the steak to be well done. They served mine a little pink. The calamari and the side vegetables were really good though. My husband got halibut with beurre blanc sauce. Wish I ordered that instead. Lol. My son got the fettuccine, it looked a lot, but nonetheless he finished it. Must be good. My daughter got the lobster tail with French fries, she said it was so so. We were full, but I think we paid too much for a mediocre dish flavor and the long wait. I will try the other restaurants if I'm in town And compare. read more
