We chose Top Roofing services as their bid was the best value. On the day of the project start, project manager Stevie Lopez, and the roofing team showed up on time and went straight to work. All aspects of the job, from the opening bid, to the completion of the work, was done professionally. I am happy to recommend Top Roofing services.

Five stars, and Top Roofing Services earned every one of them. Top Roofing gave us exactly the kind of experience we hoped to have when taking on a major home project. Our project manager Ever Diaz was fantastic, and he was upfront and honest about something every homeowner should know going in: once they open up the roof, there can be damage that wasn't visible during the initial assessment. We suspected might need a full replacement, and yes, we did but Ever showed us thorough evidence and we were prepared for it. Ever's honesty about that possibility from the start helped us trust him immediately. His crew was professional, hard-working, and kept everything clean throughout the job. That's no small thing when you're talking about a full roof replacement. When the job was complete, you'd barely know they were there, except for the beautiful new roof they left behind. What really set Top Roofing apart was the support we got beyond the job itself. Office manager Amy G. went above and beyond. She handled all the permit coordination seamlessly, and weeks later when we received a random letter from the County Assessor's Office, she took the time to help me complete it. That level of care and follow-through is rare, and we genuinely appreciated it. They do quality work, keep things clean, and actually take care of you through the whole process. I highly recommend them!

I selected…read moreKing Roofing based on their long-standing reputation, competitive pricing, and strong sense of ownership during our discussions. Ferdinand did an excellent job walking us through the scope of work and our underlayment options. We had the pleasure of having Reynaldo, the founder, as our foreman. Everyone I interacted with, both onsite and in the office, was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I only wish they gave more advance notice on when my roofing project would start. I was contacted Friday and informed my project would start Monday morning. Perhaps that's standard practice in the roofing industry, but it felt like short notice for a project of this size. Fortunately, I didn't have any plans that week or any family or friends staying with us. Overall, we had a positive experience and are happy with our decision to work with King Roofing.

I found King Roofing through Yelp. Ray contacted me promptly after my estimate request online…read more We met Ray who was thorough and climbed on the roof to do the actual inspection as opposed to using drones like some of the other companies we met. The estimate was reasonable compared to the other companies but we proceeded with King Roofing since Ray seemed knowledgeable. Unfortunately, after we signed the estimate it started to feel like a bait and switch. We were contacted by a lady from the company who asked us to make a deposit. We made the payment as requested but I found it odd that the account they asked me to send the deposit to was registered to a woman instead of the business name. They said once a deposit was made, another person from the company will contact me to schedule the repairs. But no one called me for a week after I made the deposit so I had to call the company back to follow up. When they finally showed up it was small team of people whom I've never met before. They worked on the area and left without saying a word. No one notified me that they had completed the work even though I stayed home that whole day in case they needed me or had any questions. I didn't know the work was completed until they called me to ask for the rest of the money the next week. Then I had to ask them to send me photos of their completed work. They barely took any photos of the work they did so they had to send someone out again to retake more photos to send to me. Overall I'm very disappointed in the service I received and I cannot recommend their services to anyone else.

I waited until the project was fully completed before writing this review because I wanted to give…read morePremium Roofing every opportunity to address the issues we experienced. Unfortunately, while the roof itself ultimately got completed and the problems were eventually addressed, the experience getting there was extremely frustrating. This was not a cheap roofing project, and I expected much better communication, care for my property, and accountability. During the project, several things happened that I believe future customers should be aware of: * A bench on my property was damaged. * My security cameras were damaged. * After the tear-off, broken pieces of old roofing/wood were left throughout my attic. * Nails and debris were left around the property, which was especially concerning because I have two young daughters. * Most importantly, the existing roof-to-patio transition was disturbed during the reroof and afterward we had leaks in areas that did not leak before the project. The patio transition was the most frustrating part. I understand that my existing patio roof was old and was not part of their reroofing scope. My issue was not that I expected them to replace my patio. My issue was that the existing transition between the house roof and patio had been keeping water out before the project. During the reroof, the existing material at that transition was removed/disturbed so the new roof could be installed. I was not warned beforehand that doing so could leave the patio transition vulnerable, nor was I given the opportunity to decide how I wanted that transition handled before the work proceeded. When it subsequently leaked, I had to repeatedly argue that I wasn't asking them to replace my patio; I simply wanted the transition restored so it didn't leak after their work. Initially, I was told that the patio wasn't within their scope. Eventually they returned and applied membrane/mastic to the transition, but even then I was the one who had to climb up and water-test the roof with a hose to identify the remaining leak locations. They came back again to address those areas. What bothered me most wasn't that problems occurred. Construction projects can have problems. It was the lack of ownership when they did. None of these issues were proactively brought to my attention. I discovered them myself through inspections and then had to contact the company to get them addressed. At times, the site supervision seemed annoyed that I was asking them to correct damage or conditions that arose during the project. After the fourth issue, I finally escalated my concerns beyond the site supervisor by calling and emailing upper management. I had deliberately tried to resolve the first several problems directly with the people managing my project rather than immediately escalating them. Despite that, I never received a call from upper management to acknowledge what had happened, apologize, or ask how they could make the experience right. There were also smaller things that added to the frustration. For example, their large marketing banner remained on my property after the roofing work was finished. When I asked that it be removed, I was told it would stay because they still had to return regarding the leak. Considering everything that had already happened, that didn't sit well with me. To Premium Roofing's credit, they ultimately came back and addressed the issues I raised, and I want to be fair about that. My complaint isn't that they simply walked away. It's that getting these things corrected required far more inspecting, documenting, calling, following up and arguing on my part than I believe a homeowner should have to do after paying for a professional reroof. If you're considering them, my advice isn't necessarily "don't hire them." It's to protect yourself from the beginning: photograph your property before work starts, photograph your attic, cameras and anything around the house that could be damaged, clarify in writing how every existing roof transition will be handled, inspect the property carefully after each phase, and don't assume someone will point out damage or potential problems to you. I chose Premium in part because I was willing to pay for what I thought would be a higher level of service and accountability. The finished roof may ultimately perform well, the valleys and asphalt look good, and I have the GAF Golden Pledge warranty, but based on the project-management and customer-service experience I had, I can't give them a positive review.
