The food here was really great except for the Southwest Benedict (very salty!). We were seated right away which was great for a Saturday morning brunch for 6 people. The service was incredibly slow. We ordered drinks and they arrived 15 minutes later. Then it took another 10 minutes for our waitress to come back and take our order. When our food came out, she did not check in on us for over 25 minutes and it took forever to get our checks. She also asked us what we ordered to drink at the end because she forgot what we previously ordered. We had a waitress in our group and she even said the service wasn't great. *UPDATE: I went back to this restaurant on Saturday for the first time since July. There was no wait and we were seated right away outside next to the back door. After we ordered our drinks, a waitress with a completely loaded tray of food and drinks was having a hard time getting through the doorway. Before we knew it, the entire tray of food went crashing to the ground and all over my friend and me. Food, drinks, and shards of broken glass went flying all around us. The waitress felt terrible and asked if we were okay (which we were-besides our pants and shoes being soaked with drinks and food). Other staff members started panicking and yelling for the waitress to tell the kitchen to start making new food because that was seemingly more important than asking if we were okay. A manager never came to talk to us and they made us pay full price for our food and drinks. I'm not normally a free-loader looking to get my meal comped, but this seemed deserving since I was pulling glass out of my clothes for the rest of the day and my shoes still smell like tea, syrup and old eggs. This restaurant is excellent in both customer service and food. If the food is out of this world yet the customer service stinks the whole experience is but this place has excellence on both sides. I love this place. Yes it's a little pricey for brunch or breakfast, but they give you pretty big portions and the food is delicious and the atmosphere is so cute. I've never had anything I didn't like here. I always get the spiked iced latte made with rum chatta. It's sooo good! It comes with a piece of bacon and a beignet. My husband and I ate here for my birthday breakfast. Everything was out of this world. I had a cucumber Bloody Mary which was delicious. I had the toasted coconut quinoa power bowl as my meal and it was phenomenal. I never would have thought to put all the things together that were put together in that bowl but it was delicious and refreshing and filling. Because we were first-time visitors we got a complimentary appetizer, some biscuits with powdered sugar that were very good. The staff was amazing. We interacted with the server and the manager as well. They were both very personable and made us feel welcomed. They were very attentive and it was overall a great experience. I really enjoy the food here. Their breakfast sausage patties were delicious. The only down side I can see is there portion size was a little small for some of their meals. This is a great little spot to come if you want a nice breakfast with friends and family. I really enjoyed the lobster and brie omelet and the huevos rancheros. Stumbled across this while searching for a new breakfast spot near my house. The service staff was amazing! As I approached the door the hostess opened the door for my wife and I and welcomed us in. They offered a complementary glass and a few extras, just because it was our first time at the restaurant. The entire service experience was five stars. The food is a solid 4 and the drinks a 5. Very disappointing experience. I took my Daughter to Breakfast at this location on Sunday, we arrived at 10:00 and we were told there was a fifteen minute wait. I could understand as they were quite busy. While we were waiting two other groups arrived and were seated before us, when I asked about it I was told they were larger groups than just two. After about 25 minutes we were seated, in walking to out table I noticed a number of empty tables for two. We were seated and waited another 10 minutes before being approached by a server, we got our water and coffee. Another 10 minutes and our order was taken. After about 25 minutes our order was served, the dishes were cold. I asked to speak to a manager to comment on the poor service and no one ever came. As we were hungry, we ate the cold meals. The only times I could see our server was when she was helping other tables. After approaching our server at her work station to obtain our check I was told that she would bring the check when she could. We waited for our check for another 10 to 15 minutes before it arrived. No comment from our server, just dropped the bill and started to leave. I stopped her and handed her my credit card so we would not have to wait any longer than possible. I have consistently tipped in the 15 - 20% range for servers, but in this case I could not tip for service as slow as this. I must also add, there were at least two other parties of four that came in about the same time that were seated that were served, ate, paid, and left before us. I will seriously consider having a meal at this restaurant again. read more

The breakfast here was great. I'm not a huge breakfast and that I would definitely go back to this place. I ate the shrimp and grits and it was amazing, I had enough for breakfast dining in and the next day. I tried my friends who'd also and nothing was disappointing. One friend had an omelet the one that has crawfish and other vegetables in it. My other friend had a special that was a lobster and grits. All the food was good, the waitress even brought us out some of their baguette appetizers to try. They had healthy options but that day I decided to go all out and eat some good old southern breakfast. I will definitely eat at this place again! read more

Beignets (on the house because it was my first time, and I absolutely appreciated them) were fine, but let's not kid ourselves -- it's not Cafe du Monde. The Spicy Bloody Mary was spicy and yummy. I would have given the place four stars had the coffee been decent, but it was far from decent. I feel that if there's one item a breakfast/brunch place should ace every time, it's their coffee. I tried two of their blends, and both were watery and flavorless. Maybe it was because I went towards the end of their day, so I'm happy to give them another try. Not overly impressed. It's a great location and I was hoping for more. The food was meh, so-so. I will say that the menu makes the food sound like it's out of this world. It definitely left me leaving bummed (hate when that happens!). The strawberry pancakes were average. They weren't terrible, but there just wasn't anything special about them. Didn't like the fact that you pay extra for fruit on top and there was literally no more than 2 strawberries sliced on the top. Com'mon, make it worth it! The eggs were okay. The bacon was tasty, but oh my goodness so salty. I like some salty bacon, but wow this was over the top. The service was really slow. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time of our visit and I was surprised that our morning dragged on like it did. I have been to another broken egg probably 10 times now. I love the food. My go-to is the classic biscuit ń gravy which tastes great. It comes with bacon, 2 eggs and potatoes however the food is on the pricier side at $9.59. I would give Another Broken Egg five stars however the last couple of times I have visited it has taken an extremely long time to receive the food we order and it has not been very busy which is strange. On average about 30-45 minutes for breakfast food. Still with that in mind the food is delicious and I often find myself coming back for more, so if you have a lot of time to spare give this place a try for yourself! read more

Visited this place for brunch on Sunday with my lovely coworkers and I must tell you that it was an experience I never expected. My friend had been talking up a storm about this place so of course I was excited to finally be able to try it. The place is very cute. Nice decor, modern with a bit of farm country kitchen twist. They are completely covered with powdered sugar with a side of orange marmalade syrup. I found the syrup delicious but my coworker's were not fans. They ate theirs with strawberry jam which was just as good. Some of my coworkers ordered mimosas which tasted fresh. Some even ordered a 2nd round! I ordered the shrimp and grits and they came out pretty cold. The flavor was tasty however, the shrimp was very overdone and tasted like rubber. I told the server about it and she let us order something else and even comped our meal. I was pretty impressed with the service and how quickly they rectified the situation. I ended up ordering the Florida which was an omelette with crab, cheese, with cream cheese inside. It came with a side of potatoes. The potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The omelette was deliciously rich that I had to pace myself before going overboard. All in all I was pretty satisfied. I can't wait to come back and try something else. Being a huge breakfast fan, I was excited to see a new breakfast joint open up near by that had a nice selection of items that we would be into. We started with the beignets and city grits which had smoked gouda, bacon, tomato and scallion. Then I had the lobster omelet and my wife had the salmon benny. Everything we ordered came out cooked perfectly and very fast considering we were the on a Saturday at prime time. Our server was very friendly and kept my coffee and water full throughout our time there. My only complaint was the $6.99 price tag per mimosa that my wife ordered. From the moment that we walked in, the experience was great. The host, the server (Stephanie), and the manager (whose name escapes me) were INCREDIBLY personable and accommodating. The meal was damned near perfect. I think the only thing that could have made it better is if they had delivered it to my Mom's home, where I was staying during my visit. The plates match the decor, really nice clean menus, cloth napkins, soft music not too loud and there are booths along with tables and outdoor seating. The menu was extensive and different than most breakfast places. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. There is also a bar in the restaurant. Our hostess Michelle was pleasant and attentive. Her smile lights up the room. She just puts you in a good mood. Our server Michelle was very sweet, and on top of everything.
