We decided to try this spot for breakfast and were really glad to see they had a large variety of gluten-free options, including a separate gluten-free menu. I had the spinach omelette with a side of gluten-free pancakes. My daughter, who also has to eat gluten-free, had gluten-free pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. My husband got the cinnamon roll French toast, my son had the chicken club, and his girlfriend ordered the bacon cheeseburger with potatoes. This is a great breakfast spot near the beach in Clearwater Florida. It's a cute convenient place busy and high energy atmosphere. We spent the week at the beach and had breakfast here two times that week. It's a little pricey for breakfast typically, we prefer something less expensive as breakfast tends to be the cheapest meal of the day when dining out, however everything's pricey near the beach and this seems to be typical compared to similar restaurants. The first time our server was a young man there was a bit of a wait for seating , but he served us quickly didn't seem to have time to speak beyond what was absolutely necessary but we were pleased with our meal obviously liked it enough to return a couple of days later. Biscuits and gravy were really good but I don't really consider them true southern style. The biscuit beignet basket is amazing when we went back I made sure to get those again. Our second visit we were in a bit of a hurry as it was the day we were checking out my party of four we're all hungry. My dad's diabetic and needed to get something quick. We all knew what we wanted when our server came. She was a lovely, mature woman that was attentive and promised to get our food to us as quickly as possible. It came out quickly. She was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. The menu offered something for everyone. The prices on menu items seemed to be in line with what we had experienced at other restaurants in the area. The food was appropriately prepared and the serving sizes were of excellent proportion. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy what they ordered. My order was the Benedict Burger with grits. The grits were good and the entree was good. It would have been great with a better Hollandaise sauce. It didn't have much color or flavor. They offer outside seating. On the day we visited, we speculated about fighting off the many birds invading the seating area. In a warm day, without birds, it looked like a nice area to dine in. There is no on street parking; however, the public parking structure surrounds the building. Be forewarned, the parking isn't cheap. 1.5 hours cost us $17. While the restaurant appeared to be clean, a dining partner pointed out how badly the ceiling area around the heating and cooling areas really needed to be cleaned. It was in fact, very dirty. Our waitress Chelsea was so nice and accommodating and the service was quick. The food was delicious. Every single thing we ordered was so good. Firstly I've never been to a breakfast place that didn't have fresh cream for coffee. $5 for OJ from a bottle. Seems pricey. The offerings were scant today the least. cream cheese was barely added to the bagel. Minimal salmon was also provided. When I asked for cream cheese to cover the bagel I was given a very scary cup with some white substance squirted into it. Pictures say it all. The location was dirty. Staff standing around when they could be cleaning... no wonder it was empty during spring break. The owners need to pay this place a visit! read more
