Our first time at Seaguini was a great experience. Brian was a great server that was very knowledgeable and professional. The four of us enjoyed all of our dishes. From the grouper with pineapple salsa to the shrimp dishes. Everything was à la cart and you have to pay extra to add protein to your dish as well as the salad but it was still a great experience.

I have eaten here 10-12 times over several years and each time is better than the last. I've had the lobster bisque, the linguini, the steak tartare, salads, scallops, shrimp, etc. Not to mention the ice creams and desserts which are to die for. The restaurant is always filled with a lively and polished crowd, and the best part of SeaGuini is watching the gorgeous sunset after your meal. SeaGuini never disappoints.

This is a nice seafood restaurant located in a hotel on Clearwater Beach. The food, service, and ambience were excellent. It came with high prices, but it was worth the experience. We had a reservation for 6:30pm and went outside on the pool deck in the middle of our dinner to take sunset pictures. It was rainy, but the pictures still turned out nice. We were, however, disappointed because my friend put that we were celebrating her birthday on the reservation, and they did not acknowledge it at all. Here is what we got: Grilled octopus: great appetizer! The octopus was cooked well and tasty. Crispy stuffed artichoke: not artichoke-tasting at all with a strange interior. The outside fried part tasted great though. Beet salad: loved the beets and the citrus fruit. I replaced blue cheese with feta because I am not a blue cheese fan, but the feta still had too much of a distinct sharp taste (in an unpleasant way). This was surprising to me because I have always previously liked feta. Pan-seared local snapper: great taste and flavourful fish! A few of my friends ordered it, and they all enjoyed it. Tiramisu: the most tiramisu-tasting tiramisu I've had. The coffee liqueur taste was very strong. Such a small piece though.

Our Valentine's Day dinner at Seaguini, at a window table in the lounge, was very elegant but actually disappointing to both of us. We started with a shrimp cocktail sprinkled with sprouts, with an odd-tasting sauce that seemed greasy and didn't cling to the shrimp. Next came an excellent lobster bisque. We both had fish entrees, and found them to be overdone with fancy embellishments that smothered and overpowered rather than complimenting the fish. We shared a slice of Key Lime pie, but left much of the too-thick, hard crust. Despite our quibbles we had a lovely time and the service was perfect. We breakfasted here all week during our stay; the food and service were first-rate. For dinner, however, we preferred Drift in the Opal Sol across the street. The view wasn't as dramatic but the chef understood fish much better.

Excellent service at the bar Great sunset views Tried the strawberry shortcake martini. It's vanilla vodka with strawberry syrup and a graham cracker rim. A perfect dessert drink. Also enjoyed the lemon ricotta stuffed fried artichoke. Drizzled with balsamic. Highly recommend. Good portion for an appetizer.

Excellent food! Served promptly and with a smile. Server Pedro was awesome ! Great place to come for any occasion. Open seating at the bar area, multiple low & high top tables. Great choices on the menu! Top service and very personalized! Such a beautiful venue overlooking the Gulf! A great place to come anytime and especially on a holiday. Very clean, quick service and Beautifully decorated. Perfect evening for Christmas Eve!

If you're in Clearwater, you won't regret dining at Seaguini in Opal Sands Hotel. We had the most wonderful anniversary meal which started with crisp Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay. Our appetizer, buratta bruschetta, was the absolute best we've ever had. It was melt in your mouth good. My vodka penne was equally tasty. Just a wonderful combination of cheesy goodness. My husband found his arrabbiata just a tad bland but the shrimp were nice-sized and the noodles well cooked. For dessert, we were given a free blueberry cheesecake which was silky perfection. We ordered a chocolate mousse sponge which was equally good with a nice mix of savory and sweet. We ended the meal with lemoncello and espresso. The wait staff were all extremely attentive and kind. Watching the sun set surrounded by good food and smiling faces is an experience I won't soon forget. Well done, Seaquini!

Nice experience overall. Great service. The crispy calamari - lightly dusted, calabria pepper aioli, crispy zucchini, sweet tomato chips, house pomodoro sauce was fantastic. My main of the citrus glazed gulf grouper - lemon & herb risotto, roasted red peppers, pineapple salsa, coconut beurre blanc could have had more going on for it. I tried a slice of the margherita pizza - a classic, oven-roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, housemade pomodoro sauce, torn basil at the table, and that's a pass. Not sure why they even bother putting it on the menu. The place itself is gorgeous. Though it feels like it longs for a fish tank, the transparent wall with the water and cascading bubbles is mezmorizing.

Great first visit! I came to Seaguini for the first time and was really impressed. The pizza was delicious, and the grouper plate was rich and flavorful. Beautiful atmosphere and great service.

Great find on Yelp! We were looking for a special occasion restaurant and SeaGuini did not disappoint. Warm service without being stuffy, in a bright, airy, unpretentious space. Our $45 bottle of sparkling rose was tasty and didn't break the bank. Steak and halibut special were cooked perfectly; as was octopus appetizer although the latter was a tad salty, Would return for sure.

    Beautiful table with rose petals.

SeaGuini exceeded our expectations in every way! We chose this spot for a special occasion anniversary dinner and highly recommend it for any celebration. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our night feel extra special. Exceptional professionalism and the food was fantastic. Whipped feta app, grouper entree, shrimp pasta all delicious. Will be back for future celebrations.

This restaurant is located in the opal sands hotel. We had a hard time finding it as there was no signage on the street. Valet parking was the only parking option. The restaurant is quite nice with a good vibe . The service was friendly and the food came fast. We had the grouper , red snapper and the aleoglio pasta with grilled shrimp. We had an assortment of dessert. The food was quite delicious. Grazzie seaguini fir giving us a beautiful taste of Italy in a quite nice setting.

The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed. The food has been delicious each time. We loved the burrata caprese, scallops, and cioppino.

It is seriously the BEST pina colada I have ever had. They use a simple mix and a dark rum, but it tasted like heaven. The ice was perfectly blended and since we were inside, they give you a straw (I can understand that many seagulls probably choke on straws that are carelessly strewn on the beach from the tiki bar customers). And lets face it, pina coladas were made for drinking with a straw. When I mentioned that this was the best pina colada I had ever had to the bar tender as I ordered a second one, she drizzled more rum on top! I was a very happy, very tipsy customer after that pina colada. This bar is just as good, or better than the famed tiki bar at the beach... They also tend to run out of the pina colada mix at the tiki bar (but still serve the drink with half the mix!!) and gave me a bit of attitude instead of explaining why I can't get a straw when I asked for one. Best and friendly service with a smile! Great lounging area.

I enjoyed the Freakshow wine (the blend) that I was served. There are a couple of TVs in one of the larger rooms - that coupled with $2 mimosas on Sundays makes this a solid spot for Sunday funday fans. Like the neighboring businesses, the Patio Lounge backs up to the Pinellas Trail, which although is not a new thing, provides a peaceful walk from the bar to the other bars (or the parking garage).
