It is clearly marked off on the area. You can sit around the designated areas that include tables with chairs or sit at the few spaces available at the bar itself. We tend to just sit at the bar as we know a few of the bartenders so we talk with them while visiting. Occasionally, you get some shade but normally I am sitting back a little to be able to soak up the vitamin D that I find myself never having enough of even leaving in FL. Service is always friendly regardless if it is one I know or not and for some people this is a great way to go to the beach, get some drinks, water, soda, or alcohol and some food without having to drag out a huge cooler yourself or wonder off too far from where you've set up on the beach itself.
