Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by bringing your boat right up to the dock and bringing your furry friends along--this place is dog-friendly! The chef constantly introduces fresh ideas and flavorful inspirations for your dining pleasure. Located among the newest attractions in the Pinellas County Beach area, spanning from St. Pete to Clearwater Beach, this spot offers a modern, sleek design with breathtaking views. Open for just a year, I discovered this charming property through the BBA, a vibrant multi-beach chamber event. The pool area offers a stunning view of the marina, complemented by a spacious hot tub that seats up to 24 and features a playful water fountain you can turn on for fun. The owners are incredibly friendly and down-to-earth, creating a welcoming, memorable experience. I highly recommend visiting and definitely plan to return! Thanks, Flo Vaz - High End Home and Commercial Remodeler with First Choice Home Services.

Jimmy's crows nest had an incredible view of the beach and ocean! There was plenty of seating that had great views. There was no happy hour, but there were daily specials. The bartender was incredibly efficient and super friendly! The menus needed an upgrade! Some were so worn that you couldn't read the items. I stuck with the salsa, guac, chip combo to be on the safe side after reading previous yelp reviews about food. One warning with the guac and salsa is that it was super spicy! Drinks were great, and the frozen options were delicious!

I've reviewed this place before, but I have to do it again because it truly is the best! I absolutely love coming up here for sunset--there's no better spot to grab a drink and take in the view. The staff is always so nice, and the vibe is just so fun and laid-back. And honestly, you cannot beat this view! Jimmy's Crow's Nest will always be a favorite!

...Where do I start... Perched atop the Crow's Nest with a view fit for royalty -- ocean waves, perfect food, drink in hand. Absolute bliss. Then... disaster. A blustery October afternoon, 62 degrees, 10 mph wind -- basically arctic. I asked the bartender if there was a gift shop for a hoodie. His reply? "I don't think we're selling any right now... but I can grab one from my car." Fast-forward -- here I am, overlooking the sea, full belly, cocktail in hand, wearing a stranger's hoodie. Five stars. Extra point for heroic customer service.

Sunset shots that are complimentary, good options for bar food. We tried the fish spread with jimmy's habanero sauce which was excellent! We tried a pina colada but we both preferred their rum drinks over the frozen drinks! The staff here are attentive and fun to talk with about the area! While it was cold at night they had these little heaters around the bar to warm you up!

Located downtown Clearwater at the rooftop of the hotel. Beautiful views of the ocean and Pier 60. The service is laid back and the food is okay. It's a great place to just hang out, drink cocktails and enjoy time with family & friends.

Okay, the view is pretty freaking cool. Drinks are like typical college bar drinks, it's definitely worth it to come up here and grab one to sit and be able to watch the sunset, but that's probably all I would suggest. Food was typical bar food, wasn't great. Come for a drink and the view before dinner.

We had a great time here tonight. It's a great bar with fun and strong drinks at the very top of a building overlooking all of Clearwater. Fun times much be back again

My wife and I have spent several trips to clear water and typically go to Jimmys edge. We decided to walk a bit one evening and try some other spots then end up at the edge later. We ended up at Jimmies Crows Nest. First and foremost with any establishment, if you Don't have people that care and have some personality. You're fighting a losing battle. ALL of their staff were attentive, fun and created a very great experience for my wife and I. We have a couple pinas and then some beers and watched the sun fall over the ocean. We ordered some food, wings, burger and bbq. Amazing speed and to the table hot. 2nd we leave there and head over to cap the night at Jimmies Edge our first loved spot. On the elevator ride up, i engaged a conversation with a gentleman in the box with us. We end up learning that he was Jimmies brother and got to learn the story of all the Jimmies and a few other places. A very down to earth gentleman that we enjoyed sharing some industry stories with. We end up have a few drinks here at Jimmies Edge then head back after the evening ended. We love clearwater and we loved Jimmies Edge, however we have went to Jimmies crows nest nightly and service has been consistent to our first experience! Keep up the great work and creating a place for people to make memories on this trip through life!

The brussel sprouts appetizer is HUGE. It was double the size I have received at other places, so took some back to the hotel for leftovers. They also came with a tasty dipping sauce that was unique as well. The Caesar salad was neutral; no strong flavor yet not distasteful. No anchovies taste either. I could take it or leave it. The filet steak was tender served over some mashed potatoes and thick asparagus wrapped in salty, yummy bacon. The smoky old fashioned and expresso martini (with Baileys added extra!) drinks were tasty. Make a reservation online and Uber/Lyft if you are close as it's easy in and out!

We ended up splitting the seafood pasta dish, and it was more than either of us could eat, even after splitting it. Service was good for dinner. Martini was good, but the blue cheese stuffed olives were prepackaged from a jar. Breakfast blew us away. Every dish we had was great. I don't think you can go wrong. Breakfast pizza was surprisingly great and enough for two people to split. Service at breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was always flowing and the servers were always smiling. The atmosphere and ambience are OK. I don't love the vibe, as it felt like a dated dining room experience. But Food was still great. If you are staying at the Opal Sands, the entire complex has amazing food and you don't even have to leave. Huge benefit to staying there.

We started with 3 orders of grilled oysters, 3 for $5 is still a great deal. The cajun seasoning and cheese on top made them incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. They were so good we basically decided to order a second batch the moment we finished the first. We also got the fried Brussels sprouts and coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was delicious with the sweet and sour sauce, and the brussel sprouts were just pure yum. We were so into the appetizers that we almost skipped entrees, but decided to share a shrimp po'boy. The shrimp was perfectly crispy, exactly what we were looking for. The first odd moment was at check-in: our party of two was asked to sit at the outside high-top bar, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. That would have been fine if it was consistent, but right after that another party of two was told they could sit wherever they wanted. It set the tone that we were being "managed" into a specific spot for reasons that weren't about availability. Food-wise, it was actually fine. We ordered tacos and the surf and turf, and both were solid enough. Nothing blew me away, but nothing was wrong with it either. Service was also fine in the best way, our server was attentive without hovering and checked in at the right times. The value, though, is where this place starts slipping. A big chunk of the menu being market price feels misleading in practice, because it makes it harder to know what you're committing to until you're already there, and the final cost landed firmly on the expensive side for what we got. If you're going to charge premium prices, the overall experience has to match it. Unfortunately, the biggest issue had nothing to do with the kitchen. Because we were placed at that outside high-top bar, we ended up sitting a few feet away from a salesperson "training" another person directly in front of the restaurant, and their conversation was loud, crude, and uncomfortable the entire time. It wasn't just casual chatter, it was grotesque commentary, including a loudly announced remark about what he had done in the bathroom, plus a running lesson on how to deceive people and other tactics that sounded like a timeshare pitch tied to Wyndham. On top of that, the guy was openly ogling women, which made the area feel unpleasant and honestly embarrassing to sit near. The kicker was when we left, the same person tried to sell to us on the way out, apparently not realizing we'd been sitting right behind him the whole lunch. I understand people need to make a living, but the combination of the language, the behavior, and the proximity to diners completely undermined the experience. I don't know what the relationship is between that sales operation and Salty's. If you go, ask to sit inside or away from the bar/patio traffic, and be prepared for higher-than-expected pricing.
