There is nothing bad I can say about this place. The atmosphere is homey and elegantly decorated, the staff is so sweet and timely and the food is out of this world! We started off with some beignets that were delicious, I almost ordered another round but I stopped myself haha. For breakfast I had the lobster and Brie omelette, everytime I see a lobster omelette on a menu I try it and theirs is by far the best I've ever had. I got a side of the city grits (I absolutely HATE grits but I always try different ones) and I'm a believer now. The most flavorful bowl of grits I've ever tried! I love this place so much. It's really beautiful inside and nicely decorated. The plates match the decor, really nice clean menus, cloth napkins, soft music not too loud and there are booths along with tables and outdoor seating. The menu was extensive and different than most breakfast places. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. There is also a bar in the restaurant. Our hostess Michelle was pleasant and attentive. Her smile lights up the room. She just puts you in a good mood. Our server Michelle was very sweet, and on top of everything. The customer service she gave was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Overall the experience was amazing and I will definitely come back. I've always avoided going to another broken egg as the options for other nearby breakfast are much better. However, it was a Monday morning and I was craving crab cake benedict and saw that they added it to their menu. I decided to give it a try and it 100% filled my cravings. I did find a small piece of a shell in the food but to me that's not a big deal. I also ordered an iced coffee which was literally just ice, coffee and milk, no flavoring or anything. It wasn't bad as I can drink plain coffee just not what I expected to pay $3.99(?) for. for comparison, First Watch has the perfect iced coffee. They also offer mimosas now and my boyfriend was thinking of getting one but the price didn't seem worth it. I believe it was around $10.99 for one mimosa which for a casual breakfast spot seems insane to me, you can get much cheaper ones at other comparable breakfast spots. This was my first visit and certainly won't be the last. I want to keep going back until I've tried everything on the menu! What I really wanted to do was order it all, because I was excited about almost every menu item! So after much deliberation, I ordered their version of hash... A bed of golden new potato wedges, melted Monterey Jack cheese, and then your choice of 3 toppings. Given that it was brunch time, I chose to top my potatoes with andouille, shrimp, and asparagus. I also added 2 poached eggs on top. To my disappointment, it didn't come with a side besides an English muffin, so I ordered a side of their City Grits for the table to share. It was described as grits with Gouda cheese, bacon and onions. Sounded worthy of trying. I'm always up for good grits. Given that it was my first time here, they started me off with a free order of beignets, which came piping hot and accompanied by a side of orange marmalade. I am not normally a fan of orange marmalade, but this was absolutely delicious! These little fried dough balls were a delight! Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and covered in glorious powdered sugar. So smart to pair it with the orange marmalade. Well after we finished those, we waited. And waited. And waited for our food. But when it finally arrived, it was impressive. The portion was a decent size- more than what I could eat at one sitting, but not ridiculously sized that overwhelmed me just by the sight of it. The hash was plated in a cute porcelain skillet, and looked amazing! I couldn't wait to dig in. They brought the poached eggs in their own little bowl, so I was able put them on myself, making sure none of that poaching water got onto my potatoes to soggy them down. When I pierced the first egg with my fork, and all that golden deliciousness burst out and flowed over my hash like a serene mountain river, I danced in my seat! But in that moment, I knew that something was missing. What this needed to make it just right was the tang that only hot sauce can bring. Now, they have their own "pepper sauce," but it's kind of sweet and knew that wasn't the taste I was going for. I had a choice of other hot sauces, which was really nice, and chose to go with Cholula... And it was the wisest choice! From the first bite to the last, each was a perfect bite. That English muffin was toasted just right, and with butter and blackberry jam, this was a killer accompaniment. It really didn't need any other side because of the variety of flavors and textures in the hash. But I did, in fact, order a side... The City Grits. I already knew they were gonna be good just by looking at them. It looked like plain white grits, topped with a good amount of thick, crispy bacon and sliced green onions. But by the time my food came, I had ordered so long ago that I had forgotten there was Gouda mixed into the grits. This flavor combination is genius, I tell ya! Genius! Absolutely delicious! I can't wait to come back to this spot and try other menu items, as I say, everything looked so good that I had a hard time choosing what I was going to eat. And even though my meal was divine, the service was friendly, and the place was clean, I give it 4 stars because I had to eat this masterpiece quickly. Very quickly. My meal took a really long time to come out and I had a meeting I couldn't be late for. So I couldn't fully enjoy my experience. I gave myself an hour and 15 here, but it wasn't enough. I only had time to take a few bites, then quickly box up my leftovers and leave hungry. That was a bummer. Luckily, we asked for our checks before the meal arrived, so that part didn't hold us up. I am hoping that this is not the norm and that this aspect improves the next time I go. If it doesn't, then it will be hard for me to regularly return here for lunch during working hours. I'll just have to go on weekends! ... Perhaps every weekend... read more

We called at 9am to schedule a reservation for 6 people at 11:45am because we were with 2 small children and they get impatient when waiting to be seated. I received a confirmation text for the reservation. We get there exactly 11:45am and they tell us it will be about 5-10min, no big deal. As we were waiting in the sitting area, parties of 2, 3 and 4 kept walking in and being seated. After 20min, I questioned the system...why are people getting seated before us? Answer was: "because they are a smaller party and we don't have a table for 6 people". After another 10min, now we had been waiting for 30min, I questioned them again. Still no table for 6. But they kept seating parties of 2,3 and 4. What kind of seating system is this?!?! We waited a total of 40min and decided to go. I told the lady up front and she said "sorry, we don't have a table for 6, it would be another couple minutes!" Are you kidding me?!?!?! I did receive a message back from management on April 6/2018 Hi Ellen, We again wanted to apologize for your less than exceptional experience in our cafe. Would you mind providing me with your phone number and/or address so that one of our territory managers can follow up with you directly? Today June 21st still no action from management. Beignets are manna from heaven - who doesn't love these deep-fried treats. If you are a beignet lover - I highly suggest skipping this menu item from this cafe. They were hard and stale and came with a marmalade - type dipping sauce. I am traumatized by my experience and can't wait to find comfort in actual fresh beignets again. read more

A good experience for a Sunday breakfast with a party of 7. I had eggs, bacon, and a pancake. The service was good. The over easy eggs were extremely runny and I couldn't eat the second one. The bacon was too crisp but it was a thick slice so that made up for it. The restaurant bathrooms were clean. I recommend this place for a casual family breakfast. read more

I visited Another Broken Egg on Saturday, 5/18, and the service was exceptional. We were greeted politely and the wait was not long, about 10 minutes. I ordered the house coffee and the lobster and brie omelette with a side of potatoes. The omelette was absolutely amazing, however the potatoes could have been more fresh and less bland. It was still a great meal, overall. Our server, Desiree, was kind and attentive. She made suggestions that were helpful in the decision process and made it a great experience. After calling ahead to check on the availability of a table for nine, we arrived at the restaurant with two separate tables waiting for our party. Not a big deal, we'll put the tables together. This is where it became interesting. Instead of trying to honor their word, they insisted we not bring the tables together and be happy sitting separately. In hindsight, the tables were not something to get upset about, but the hostile attitude of the hostess and indifference to our satisfaction really p+ssed me off. In the end, I appreciate the situation as we moved to "Daydreamer Cafe" in Safety Harbor to enjoy a fantastic breakfast with people who are happy to have us at their establishment. read more

Tried this place after church today. It was very busy which is a good sign. It was not packed so I had zero wait time to be greeted and seated. The server was quick as well greeting me and taking my order. It did take a little more time than expected to receive my coffee and water. The food came out about as long as expected with how busy they were. The food came out hot. I ordered Eggs Benedict, home fries, and a side of bacon. The Eggs Benedict was tasty but a little bland - and very light hand when ladling the Hollandaise sauce. The home fries were nothing special - completely bland - like they took some frozen potatoes bites - and did a quick zap ... I think the did nothing else. The side of bacon was not a thin cut -- a little bit of a thick cut -- good bacon - I think a little crispier than I prefer -- but that maybe a nit pick. The prices are a little high for the quality. I will try them again...but will not rush back. read more

We really enjoyed this place a lot. We were on vacation, and I saw this place on Yelp, and decided to give it a try. I totally suggest booking ahead with the nowait app to cut down on time. Also, like others said, sign up beforehand for their newsletter for the free biscuit beneigts. They were outstanding. I got Stan's Madri Gras omelette, and it was excellent. I think I found a gem here. The coffee is fresh ground with every pot, today it's from Honduras it's really nice it's organic and fair trade which is definitely a plus in a breakfast place. Today I just wanted to have a couple eggs and they were prepared exactly how I like them with the white cooked in the yolk soft they also have homemade sausage patties they have different kinds of grits they have unique waffles sliders. They also have wonderful omelettes and lots of Sweet Temptations with everything from a Belgian waffle to Banana Foster French toast to cinnamon roll French toast to peach cobbler pancakes. They also do a brunch that is well worth checking out. I was very lucky to find this place and did I mention the service is great Sabina was my server at wonderful Irish German woman. I know this is a chain but I think the quality is really good. They hand mixer sausage had their own spices with their own recipes so it's got some style and panache. This is one of (if not my all-time) favorite breakfast/brunch places. I was incredibly excited to find out that there was another location in Clearwater as I've only been going to the Georgia one. I would have rated it 5 stars, however, they don't do free refills for their hot mochas. She took her time to help us understand the menu and was very nice. She checked in on us to make sure our food was good and that we had refills on our drinks. My wife, 2 year old and I tried this restaurant again for the second time in 2 months. The first time was the breakfast wasn't very good. My pancakes were rubbery because they over mixed the batter. The kitchen manager (Sabina) came over and brought a new pancake to try and yes that one was better. She was very kind and gracious to give us a coupon to come back and try the food again. Well we went back yesterday and had the exact same experience. My pancakes were absolutely terrible. Just looking at them you could tell they were over cooked, rubbery and a little cold. They were cold because it took a a very long time for our breakfast to come out. Our server, honestly I can't remember his name, was great. He noticed the food didn't look right, acknowledged the food took forever and it was nice enough to bring me a waffle just so I could eat something. I wasn't going to wait another 25-30 minutes for new pancakes. The thing that made this experience worse was the fact that no manager came over to acknowledge what had happened. I completely understand the restaurant was a little busy, but taking 2 minutes to visit a table who's food looked terrible and wasn't very happy is NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm not here for a free meal, I'm here so people understand this is not acceptable in the restaurant industry. The chances of my family and I going back to this location is slim to none. read more
