    Harvest Hash & Eggs

Came on a Friday morning and luckily no wait. It's a big space with plenty of seating. I ordered the Harvest Hash & Eggs from their seasonal selection, and it was pretty good and flavorful. The only downside was that our waiter that day was quite standoffish and rude, which took away from the experience. We were able to find metered street parking right out front, and there's also a parking garage nearby. Overall, a decent spot for breakfast or lunch.

Consistent Southern Brunch Favorite! Even All the Way in Burbank! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the "Another Broken Egg Cafe" sign in Burbank. I've been a regular at their Destin, Florida location for years and was genuinely thrilled to find the same spot all the way out west. The restaurant originally opened in Mandeville, Louisiana (on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain) in the mid-90s as The Broken Egg Cafe, with the second location (Destin) becoming "Another Broken Egg." The Burbank spot perfectly captures that same warm Cajun-inspired atmosphere and the menu is nearly identical which was a comforting consistency I really appreciate. I sat at the bar and ordered the Cajun Shrimp & Crawfish Omelette (shrimp, crawfish, andouille, red peppers, tomato hollandaise, tomatoes, and green onions). I ditched the carbs and asked for a side of cottage cheese instead of the usual potatoes and English muffin; they happily accommodated my low-carb request. The omelette itself was hearty, flavorful, and exactly as good as I remembered from the East Coast locations. Jenny, the bartender/server, took excellent care of me. She was friendly, attentive, and we traded a few funny jokes that made the meal even more enjoyable. The food and service were both excellent, and I love that the experience feels so consistent no matter which location I visit. Since I come into town regularly, I'll definitely be back.

Try the eggs Benedict, absolutely delicious and so were the pancakes. They're huge portions, so there were plenty of leftovers, or shareable plates. We both ordered the eggs Benedict but my friend ordered the crab Benedict. Perfection on both ends. We both enjoyed an order of pancakes for the table to try and later take home. Service was wonderful, wait was about 15 minutes for a late Sunday brunch. You can sit inside or out, and we chose outdoors as is it was such a lovely day. There's a public parking nearby as well as street parking. I ended up finding street parking. Highly recommend this spot for brunch, breakfast, and birthdays.

Came to celebrate a graduation with about 11 people. We were seated quickly considering the size of the group. It was a Tuesday so it was not too busy. The service was pretty good too. Food was kind of a let down. Most people came to an agreement the food was ok but nothing spectacular. Overall it's not a bad choice for breakfast but it's not going to have you itching to come back again.

I had to come here for brunch to get some shrimp and grits. They never disappoint. The inside is clean and spacious. The staff are friendly. The food comes out pretty fast. The best shrimp and grits you can ever eat in a restaurant. They're on point. It's creamy and cooked right. Very flavorful. My favorite spot for shrimp and grits.

I've come a few times for breakfast and they have a good variety of savory or sweet style breakfast/brunch. I like regular back and egg style kind of breakfast which they have & they also have desserts style breakfast waffles and French toast plates. The service moves fast and efficient, we never had longer than a 20 minute wait for a table when we've come here. They're located in the middle of downtown Burbank so there's lots of street parking nearby where you can find free street parking or close by meter parking.

Stopped in here for brunch the other day and I was a bit underwhelmed. We parked right in the front on the street, which now has to be paid for. We got seated right away and I got the traditional breakfast with a waffle on the side. The breakfast was just ok. I would've liked the eggs to be more fluffy, and my toast was soggy. I wouldn't also liked the potatoes and bacon to be a bit lore crispy. The waffle was very yummy though, it was perfectly warm and crispy. They seem to have a large menu of alcoholic drinks but no kinda special lattes or iced coffees. Place is also very family friendly.

Another Broken Egg Cafe never disappoints! Our daughter specifically asked to have brunch here before her flight home to Nashville. The wait was not long -- we joined the waitlist online as we parked. We were then seated when we arrived. I can't resist the Lobster & Brie Omelette. The husband chose from the seasonal menu this time -- Louisiana Benedict. The daughter -- Bourbon Street Pancakes. Everything was OMG delicious! Fluffy pancakes, wonderful sauces, fresh fruit, crispy potatoes, creamy grits and coffee in their super-cute mugs. It's all so satisfying. Service has always been great -- today was no exception. Thank you Jacky!

Came here for brunch for the second time because I really enjoy a good Southern-style breakfast, and the food here is usually really good. This visit, my boyfriend and I both ordered the crab cake Benedict. Flavor-wise, it's definitely a standout rich, savory, and exactly what you want from a brunch dish like that. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The ambiance is great for a brunch date lively but still comfortable. The only downside this time was the wait for the food. It took a little longer than expected, and by the time it arrived we were pretty hungry. Unfortunately, the dishes came out cold, and it seemed like they may have been sitting out for a bit. We didn't send them back, but that was definitely disappointing. Overall, I still like this spot and would come back. The flavors and atmosphere are there I just hope the kitchen timing improves next time.

Another Spilled Yolk. Another Wasted Egg. Just a couple of the names we erroneously called the Southern-inspired brunch spot we were headed to. After a 20-minute wait, we was seated under their covered patio which was comfortable even when the sun intermittently disappeared. Our server was perfectly lovely, but his check-ins with my table were few & far between, I suspect due to being short-staffed. My bf ordered a lunch duo of Chicken & Waffles (looked to be a half order) & cup of Jambalaya which was very good. I went super indulgent with Hash Brown Benedict (loved the mushroom hollandaise), & if that wasn't decadent enough, upgraded to Loaded Bacon Gouda Grits. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; it's safe to assume everyone in my group did, as well.

Such a great breakfast spot. We had my daughter's birthday breakfast celebration here before heading to Universal Studios...& it was perfect. We enjoyed all the food. Lots of food for a good price. You must get the beignets & cinnamon roll French toast. You can thank me later.

Located next to city hall so street parking is limited and it'll cost you. Decor gave me a spanish vibe with coffee mugs lined at the entrance but, if you look at the menu, they aim for more southern-inspired meals. We chose to eat inside instead of the patio cause it was overcast in burbank that morning, making it too chilly. But good to know we could bring our pup to join us, if we wanted. Lots of options to choose from on the menu, most of us went with the seasonal options. Our drinks werent ideal which made us dubious about the meals. Coffees came out lukewarm and too bitter while my mocktail, the strawberry lemonade spritzer was subtle. Reminded me more of how a watermelon-based drink would taste. For food, we had the Louisiana benedict, the corned beef and Brussels hash, and the apple fritter French toast. The benedict was disappointing. It was supposed to have hollandaise sauce but either a minimal amount was placed or it was forgotten. By the time we were checked on, i didnt want to bother bringing it up. The accompanying large portion of potatoes could have used some seasoning so I used a generous amount of the vinegar bottle. The star was the Apple Fritter French toast!! It was melt in your mouth delicious. Definitely understand why it was labeled a guest favorite on the menu. It stood out enough for me to suggest a visit here.

Is the Burbank number off? We have been calling all day.. Thx!

I have not seen them open since the stay home quarantine started. No take out sign either.

How long is the wait between 7-8am on a weekday?

Wait times not long, but not sure why, the food took kind of long to get to the table. Getting the check took a little but too. I hope this helps.

I don't know. My guess, sure, anything's for sale.

I generally gravitate towards the fish tacos and either get tots or onion rings. Their ranch is amazing - really creamy and herby. And I always start with a mai tai before moving onto something stronger like a Zombie. The last time we went it was so packed we had to sit at the low-top part of the bar which was kind of like being at the kids table when everyone else is towering around you, but we didn't mind. I wish I could remember our bartender's name, but he was really attentive. The service there, in my experience, has always been good. Anyway - I've been here many, many times over the years but have never left a review, so I decided I needed to change that. I'm glad this place continues to do well (it's almost always busy when I'm there) - I will continue to spread the good word and bring new people there. :)

To be fair, that was the total for the group, so the number alone isn't what bothered me. What bothered me was looking at the food, the portions, and how much we actually enjoyed everything, then feeling like the value wasn't there. The chips and guacamole were probably the clearest example. For $15, the amount of guacamole looked like roughly three tablespoons, and it had a dark greenish-brown appearance that wasn't particularly appetizing. I'm not going to make assumptions about how it was prepared or how long it had been sitting, but the presentation and portion were disappointing. At that price, I expected something more generous and appealing. The pu pu platter was $35 and came with an assortment of items, but the portion looked appropriate for about two people. A platter doesn't necessarily have to feed an entire table of five, but even with that in mind, it didn't feel like a particularly good value. The $15 buffalo cauliflower also failed to impress. There just wasn't enough about it to make me feel that it justified the price. The Caesar salad was probably the best thing I tasted, although I only had a couple of bites. That says quite a bit about how underwhelming the rest of the food felt. There was one positive comment from our table about the Kalua pork tacos, so I want to give those some credit, but I didn't personally try them. They were $18 for two tacos à la carte, which still struck me as a fairly steep price. After reading other diners' reviews, I noticed some similar reactions: people who enjoyed parts of the experience but felt the food was only okay, or that the prices added up quickly. Experiences clearly vary, and some customers really enjoy the food here, but the comments questioning the value made sense to me after our meal. I don't expect every restaurant to be inexpensive, and I'm happy to pay more when the quality and portions make it feel worthwhile. Here, too many items landed in the "fine, but nothing special" category while being priced high enough to create bigger expectations. Three stars feels fair because there were a few things to enjoy, but the food and overall value left me wanting more. At these prices, I'd need a more consistently satisfying meal to feel excited about coming back.

Sat at the bar and we were greeted immediately and provided water. After a quick glance at the menu, started off with cocktails. The Mai Tai want your classic Mai Tai, and the better said they were missing an ingredient, so he did a twist on the Mai Tai. It was ok, felt it was missing a needed flavor element though. The passion fruit mojito was pretty tasty though, definitely had that mojito taste with a little passion fruit pop. For food we started with two grilled oysters and the lobster and crab cake. The grilled oysters were delicious, but how do you go wrong with anple cheese and bread crumbs texture on an oyster? The lobster and crab cake was also great, plenty of crab and lobster meat within. Exactly what you would want in this dish. For entrees we went with the dry aged New York strip and, they had a special wagyu Burger with blue cheese and truffle. The strip was aged for 18-24 days, cooked perfectly and was so tender. Just a bite you want to enjoy each time. The burger was also delicious with the truffle mixed with the blue cheese and caramelized onions. You get a little of everything in each bite, just makes your mouth happy. Overall, nice steakhouse spot in Burbank that is well with the trip. That burger was phenomenal, as was the NY strip, and that lobster and crab cake along with the oysters, delicious. The Mai Tai could be improved but they did what they could with the ingredients on hand, so that's my fault for choosing something they didn't have everything for. Definitely a nice gem in Burbank so, if you're in the area, and are hungry, go stop by and enjoy what they have to offer in an upscale space.

I opted to have the fish and chips and my husband had the lunch special, one of the lunch specials offered. He had pork chops with the rosemary mashed potatoes, they were delicious. It was a good sized portion. All the food is there. We can't wait to go back! Looking forward to going back for lunch one of these days soon during the week they have different lunch special. Looking forward to seeing George and Fernando again! ;) Thank you guys for making it such a memorable and fun experience for my husband and myself. Carla & David

The servers brought out water dishes and treats on a silver tray for the dogs- true service! I missed happy hour, but tried a themed cocktail, the onion rings, and the truffle burger. It was all great! My friends and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and our server was great. It seemed like a lot of regulars were there, which helped contribute to the overall good vibes. Dog friendly- YES! We loved it!

That says a lot about the staff. Our server, she was a young lady, was on top of everything and really made our time here enjoyable. I came here for happy hour on a Tuesday was surprised to find out they do $2 tacos and $5 margaritas. Let me tell you, the tacos are delicious and the margaritas are STRONG. It's a hell of a good time. I really enjoyed the chicken taco and carne asada taco. The meats were juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered their nachos, chili cheese fries and bread pudding. The nachos were made perfectly with the chips being thin and crispy. They used a couple different cheeses and the jalapeños were a nice touch. Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Morrisons is definitely a fun place to be. Perfect to enjoy happy hour, catch the games on, and hang out friends. They have plenty of seating inside and outdoor with heat lamps. They are dog and kid friendly as well
