I personally love the Sunrise Matcha with their Breakfast burrito!! Service is quick and everyone has been very friendly. They also have wine offerings and a food menu so it's my go-to for Brunch. Their food is always delicious and fast. They have a very spacious interior. Lots of different seatings for groups or single seats at the bar.

Hmm, going over the other one star reviews, I can notice a common theme…read more Really weird experience here. First it's 7:30pm, planned on ordering a matcha and the person at the register informed me that there was "No coffee or tea after 4pm" so I choose to order a non alcoholic beverage and maybe something to eat and cashier or owner, whoever this person was tells me if I plan to work because it becomes a "laptop free zone" after 4pm. Odd behavior to tell someone what they can and can't do at an establishment considering it's called a coffee AND wine bar. Maybe this is something to advertise on your yelp and website but a "laptop free zone" after 4pm is pretty ridiculous for potential customers who were just looking to eat and work. I almost feel like he just told me that because I was going to order a salad and a non alcoholic beverage and wasn't planning on ordering much. As the other 1 star reviews mention "pretentious behavior" so it's either the cashier or whoever it was is being pretentious as others mentioned or RACIST... Kinda odd to dictate what I do on my own accord while I'm a patron at your establishment. If I ordered food and a drink but chose to open my laptop, are you going to ask me to leave? Doesn't really seem customer centric. Considering that I've worked on my laptop at dine-in restaurants, it's pretty odd behavior to display. Also, considering that this is not a club, and there's no live music, and there were only 3 people sitting in there, I think I would have been fine to sit there quietly in a corner with my laptop. 1 star for the experience and weird behavior. Like I said it's either pretentiousness or racism but weird behavior nonetheless.

But anyways our server was very kind and friendly making the dining experience even better. I ordered the gourmet skillet which has eggs, spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, and tomatoes. It's topped with cheddar cheese, and has guacamole. This has all my favorite veggies so I was very attracted to tis dish and it did not disappoint. I really liked the guacamole as well! I added the hashbrown for only $1.99 and the portion is HUGE! It's so worth it and I'm glad I ordered it because it was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy! They had options for the bread and I got sourdough, there was jam on the table so it was a very filling meal. I paid around $20 for this food and to be honest, I could've shared this with someone and it would have been more than enough already so they do not skimp on portions which I appreciate. They also have a couple outdoor seatings facing the park, a lot of indoor seating as well as a bar section, they have desserts (the cakes looked really good) too which I would've got it but I was very full but for sure next time. Anyways I really enjoyed the food and service, will be back again.

I finally made it to Jug Band Coffee & Tea after having their breakfast burrito recommended to me…read moremonths ago, and baby, I should NOT have waited this long. I ordered the breakfast burrito completely vegan with JUST Egg and vegan protein, and the flavor combination was incredible. It was loaded, filling, and one of those burritos where every ingredient actually works together. They also hooked me up with a bagel with vegan garlic pepper chive cream cheese, a coconut muffin, and a seasonal pumpkin spice matcha. That bagel disappeared QUICKLY. The coconut muffin surprised me too because I usually don't love coconut texture, but this was delicious. I love discovering spots that aren't exclusively vegan but genuinely give vegan customers plenty to enjoy. Great food, welcoming people, and another reason Long Beach continues to impress me with its vegan breakfast options. I'll definitely be back!

The coffee shop has a home-y vibe to it, the food is delicious, and the coffee is great. I come for their specialty drinks, in which they change every couple of months dependent on the season. Current favorite right now is their horchata coffee drink. We come here for their breakfast food as well, their bagels are made in house and are delicious! Definitely recommend stopping by here just for their food! It's street parking here and parking can be tricky on the weekends. It's a dog-friendly coffee shop, very nice workers, and people play live music here sometimes. Love the atmosphere here and definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Coffee: 6/10 Service: 5/10…read moreAmbiance: 7/10 I am not as impressed by this place as I anticipated. It has a super cute exterior and interior with a very cutesy honeycomb-inspired design. Whenever places are well designed, I assume that they'll also invest in having good customer service and good product offerings. I fear case that is not the case here. I got their Vietnamese iced coffee, and it was OK. The 16 oz cup was 95% ice. But would really ticked me off is the poor service I received despite being the only customer present. One girl acknowledged my existence but then promptly went to the back to kiki with a coworker. I had to yell out for someone to come help me find a menu item that wasn't on their digital menu and it really felt like I was bothering them. I really hate feeling like a nuisance when I'm spending my hard-earned money in a place. Not a good first impression. And this is probably a little petty, but I also had to go outside and open up the umbrellas to the outside patio because that hadn't even been done. My first impression here is that the coffee is okay. The food hopefully is better but the girls who work here need better training because I did not feel welcomed or valued.
