Stay Away!! I'm a builder, and purchased over $14k in slab and tile. I went to Ann Sacks warehouse, picked out my slabs, nice marble, clean edges, minimal imperfections. Ann sacks emailed me back a pic of the slab to purchase same condition. Signed the contract and paid. Sent my driver to pick up 3 slabs, as directed, and they gave him a 3 majorly cracked, broken uneven edges, damaged. Same day tried to exchange for slabs matching quality of those shown in pics and seen in person. They refused. Said once it loaded it's yours. I had a driver pick up what I thought were the slabs we agreed upon. After hours and hours of pleading, day after day of waiting for responses, dropping in and talking to Joe, the manager, non replies from their corporate customer service, nothing we can do's from Joshua the sales associate. It's an absolute nightmare. It's our policy they said. It's it also their policy to bait and switch? They hid the damaged slabs behind two good slabs, and didn't put bundle numbers on the good slabs so consumer would think the bundle is good. Then they gave me damaged slabs saying it's the same bundle, and anyone that knows slabs will tell you there isn't that much variation in quality in one bundle. All The slabs they gave me were damaged. See first pic the slab they emailed me picture I was buying. Second picture is what my driver got day of. Last pic is how they mislead consumers at the warehouse the nicer slabs with no stock numbers were placed on the sticker numbers that were damaged. But obviously not the same bundle. Misleading, and horrible customer service, no accountability, no resolution. Stuck me with $6k worth of unusable slab. Was supposed to be my centerpiece kitchen island. Out of time money and massive stress. read more

I am on my third replacement of marble because they keep shipping me damaged marble tiles. Slabs are also an issue with poor quality at a high end price. You are not able to select your slabs which are 3'x6' and therefore you get what you get and they are stain, broken, and pitted. Out of 10 slabs 7 were damaged which they call part of the natural stone process and will not replace. Buyer be awarded! read more

Beware they only have a 30 day return policy....kind of ridiculous. We ordered a house of tile- early to avoid delaying our remodel. As you can imagine the 3 bathrooms were not completed in 30 days...... And they won't take the tile back as promised. Looking at my purchase confirmation I don't see anything about a 30 day return policy. Really frustrating. We paid a hefty premium to work with them based on our designer saying we wouldn't have these types of problems. read more

We are doing a large remodel, but due to the appalling lack of courtesy among their staff, I'm taking my tile and stone business elsewhere. Attitude matters and this shop got a 0 out of 10. The worst experience ever. I am a repeat designer/trade client and purchased material for my personal home project. I approved the material via range photos prior to ordering and was promised the material was Italian marble all from the same lot. The material comes in and all paperwork matches up on the material boxes, after installation the material is not even close to what I was sold. I paid a premium for this material and even worse labels and stickers with Chinese writing on the back of a few pieces of tile. Definitely not Italian marble and looks like the lots came from two separate places, half from Italy and half from China. Ann Sacks is offering zero support and offered to resale me more material for $10,000 at a "discounted rate" for the material I should have received from the beginning. We purchased almost $10,000 of glass tile. After approximately three months we discovered tracks had formed on the walls of the brand new shower. When we contacted the company, they did everything possible to dodge any sort of responsibility. They came up with a very obscure installation instruction that they said was not followed which appears to have nothing to do with the cracks. They would not even come out and look at the problem and try to help us. So much for good customer service. I would be more likely to shop almost anywhere for this type of building material. Customer service in my opinion is not there and they do not stand behind their product. read more

The service is fantastic and they treat you very well. I splurged on the concrete tile from Morocco. BEWARE! We followed all the instructions and they came out looking filthy. You can't use colored grout or it will discolor and bleed into the tile. I flip houses and now I'm stressed bc I can't have my bathrooms looking so dirty. I am now forced to utilize a professional service recommended by Ann Sacks to grind down all 3 of my bathroom floors and reseal them. They were saying that you should use them to seal the tile with specialized sealer before laying them and then after again. This is a lot of extra work expense and stress. I'll be using other kinds of tiles from now on. read more

WOW. STUNNING LEVEL OF DISMISSAL AND INDIFFERENCE. I JUST GOT A NASTY EMAIL FROM A SALES REP AT ANN SACKS WEST HOLLYWOOD. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT, DON'T ASK HARD QUESTIONS. PREPARE TO BE DISMISSED. We have used Ann Sacks for 3 major projects starting way back in 2003. Each time we have been treated with the utmost respect, patience and personalized service. We have a fourth major project and our go to sales person no longer works there (we miss you Shauna). When I stopped in recently, I was reassigned to a new sales person. They have no record of my past orders, which shouldn't matter - but let's be honest it does. It matters because tile selection is a time suck and if the sales folk spend the time to help, they should know the person is serious. In my case, 3 prior orders tells them I'm serious. The West Hollywood location is brand new and even more gorgeous that the prior location. The new Ann Sacks is definitely not the old Ann Sacks - and not in a good way. The new rep seemed put out with every question. He spent a fair amount of time in our initial visit, but follow up questions were met with a stunning level of dismissal and indifference. Responses by email were fairly prompt, but had a subtext of condescension. After hitting a snag in sizing availability, I decided to call to troubleshoot solutions. On our last Ann Sacks project, the rep used computer program to design a custom matrix for us. I thought perhaps that same program could be used to design something to solve the sizing issue. The rep said NO. We don't do that. I asked what sizing he could recommend to work the design. No dice. Couldn't be bothered. Frustrated and stunned, I said ok thank you and ended the call...left to figure it out on my own. He had the nerve to email me back telling ME I was rude and he was trying to help. HA! If that's the "Help" the New Ann Sacks provides I'll pass. read more

Ann Sacks has the most beautiful tile and stone you can imagine--and no service whatsoever. I've been there twice and each time have had to fight for help. On my most recent visit, I stood around in a mostly empty showroom as two saleswomen walked by repeatedly. No one asked if I needed anything, so I finally said--to one who had plopped down at her desk, "Is there some way I could get some help?" She claimed she thought I had been helped already--ostensibly by an invisible salesperson, since there was no one else around. I left with a price list and sample, and despite the crappy service am still considering ordering my bathroom stone there--which shows you how good it is. If Yelp allowed bifurcated grades, Ann Sacks would get 5 stars for merchandise and 0 for service, but as it is I've generously awarded the place 4 stars. read more

We bought all of our bathroom tiles from Ann sacks. Spent over thousands of dollars. The house is brand new, we moved in a couple of weeks ago. ALL THE WHITE TILES HAVE TURNED BROWN AND YELLOW!!!!! One of the slabs we bought for the shower has cracked in half. It's only been 1 month!!!! This is ridiculous! So upset, can't believe this. read more

Despite some of the nice items in the store, the customer service is truly horrible. Went in here on a Monday afternoon, walked around for 15 minutes without a single person greeting me or offering me any help. (All this during a non-busy time.) When I approached a sales person to ask about the dimensions of a particular sink I was interested in, he seemed disinclined to help. After halfheartedly motioning to someone on his sales team (who also seemed unwilling to help) he began to engage in a work related conversation with one of his colleagues -- right in front of me. After one more attempt to get him to help me, I politely gave up and said that I would come back some other time. Needless to say, I will not be coming back - but will be gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

Ann Sacks has been a life saver for me and my picky nature. While doing my penthouse remodeling, I had visited several stores in hopes of finding the right porcelain tile for my new home but was unable to find anything that was suitable. Upon visiting the Ann Sacks showroom I was greeted by Tracy Caris who is a sweetheart and David Leonti and I was blown away by their selection of tiles and customer service. Tracy and David have both gone above and beyond to make sure I had the right tiles for my place ordered on time and delivered without a glitch. I could not be happier with my tiles and I am both pleased and impressed with the kind folks at Ann Sacks Beverly Hills showroom. I will definitely be returning to Ann Sacks for any upcoming projects. read more

They are the worst company to deal with. Very unprofessional and very rude. Misinformed me that a tile is available when it had been discontinued for a year and a half. I had to go with a different tile (not my preferred color) which they had told me is in stock, then I find out they had misinformed me again and there was a 3 month wait on it. I went with a non preferred shape and color because of unavailability and ultimately didn't like the color or the shape and returned the tile and they cheated me on the return amount as well. Even after charging me full shipping fees back and forth and charging 25% restocking fee, they still cheated me on the negligible remaining refund amount and Did not refund the full amount. Shame on them. Stay away. The store manager was helpful and professional but corporate is crooked and rude. read more

I visited Ann Sacks and I was pleasantly surprised to see the unique options they had to offer. The sales staff were extremely friendly and eager to learn about the project I am working. After telling them my needs, I was offered several wonderful suggestions and ideas about my space. I went here specifically for the assistance I needed in planning my project since I was not working with a designer. I knew I would be spending a ton of money for this service. What I got was an enormous clusterfudge of wrong misinformation and erroneous orders that set my project back two weeks and cost me thousands of dollars. My representative was obviously completely unqualified to do her job and I was the one who suffered the consequences. This was, simply, the worst experience I've ever had at a retail store. I have gotten better service and more expertise at Home Depot and Loews, where I ought to have gone. I spent $15,000 worth of bath fixtures and have gotten the expertise of a CVS worker in return. I will never cease my condemning this store as long as I have thumbs and a smart phone. read more

After a disappointing visit to Emser Tile in West Hollywood, I was so relieved and delighted to get help and much good info from "Brittany" at Ann Sacks. I was a bit concerned that this store would be "high end" and possibly a bit "snooty" as my former experience -- however -- I got instant and great help and advice from Brittany. I was also "blown away" by the incredible and extraordinary choices available at this lovely store. Thankful, a great experience esp. after a bad one. Unlike visit to other store I mentioned (ugh), I was given lots of info plus a sample with all the info printed on the back. Even if it is more expensive -- which I'm not sure it is or isn't (my contractor will decide) -- I'm more than willing to order from this store and am sorry I didn't use them when I tiled my new bathroom -- the choices -- WHEW! sensational........!! read more

There was no service at this store. They advertise their store hours on the internet as including Saturdays. The telephone message when you call to double check states that they are open Saturdays. Today after an hours drive in traffic, having cajoled my husband into spending some of his precious time off looking at tile we arrived at .m., and the store was closed. There were several other sets of customers waiting. We browsed the neighborhood until eleven - NOTHING and NOBODY! Obviously businesses are free to set their hours of operation, but to mislead and misinform potential customers causing huge inconvenience - my kitchen remodel will not include any products from Ann Sacks!! read more

Came in instructed by my architect, so I could get familiar with diff tiles. First Lady that spoke to me (unfortunately don't have her name), was super rude and kept on asking me to call my architect, so I could speak to the person that my architect speaks to, but All I wanted was a tour of the store to get an idea of materials, how difficult is that - 10 mins?. On top it, she super was challenging (clueless why). I give it two star for poor customer service. I would give it one, but Thank goodness for Sara Wick, who took over and showed me around. Yes, they have a beautiful selection of very expensive tile, but buyer beware. I bought many thousands of dollars worth of a clear glass tile from them with no mention made that there may be any issue with it's installation in a shower. I was clear that that was my intention. After my contractor installed it and I began using it, staining began to appear on the wall behind it. A call to them was met by a "we have never heard of this happening", it's an "installation problem". A quick Google search revealed that it is a very common problem that many others using similar tile have had. Long story short, after months of back and forth and a prevailing opinion from multiple installers -from Ann Sacks own recommended installers list- and other experts that the problem was essentially inherent to the nature of the tile rather than something not done correctly in the installation, Ann Sacks still held firm with their illogical insistence that it was an "installation problem". Unfortunately, The best they would offer was to sell me more of the same tile at their cost. After much angst over it, I decided to just take that offer. It had been too stressful for too long. I wanted it over and resolved. And they had me somewhat convinced that they could help me find someone to reinstall it so that I didn't have the problem again. Of their whole list of installers, I found only one who was confident he could install it and solve the problem. This installer, believe it or not, had the same problem with the same tile in his own shower! He seemed to be eager to figure out how to solve it. Once the tile arrived, however, he stopped being so eager. I tried to schedule him for almost a year and was put off and put off until he finally admitted he really didn't want to do the job. I contacted Ann Sacks for help finding someone else. Surely, since they claimed I was the only customer they had ever had complaint about this tile, they could help me find an installer who would be confident in installing it. But this time, do you know what their response was? The corporate policy had changed and they no longer recommend installers. Too much liability. Unbelievable. So now I have a giant pile of expensive tile boxes in my garage that I thought I bought from a reputable company who would stand by it, but they are washing their hands of it and me. So, yes, they have a lovely selection of high end tile, but don't expect their relationship with you to last beyond the signing of your credit card statement. read more

I cannot emphasize enough how great Shauna SInay is. She has been a lifesaver to me and I only wish I had her from the start of my project. She has a great eye, imagination and is creative as they come with design. She even creates awesome visual effects so you can envision that design! And do not be afraid of the $$$. She is incredible to work with and will help you end up w/ a plan to fit your budget, using Ann Sacks tile!! She is the best I have come across for my tile needs - and as I said, my only regret is that I didn't find her in the very beginning of my project :(. My tile torture would have been reduced significantly!! I will absolutely without a doubt use her for any future tiling needs (or design advice for that matter!). read more
