I'm an Interior Designer and I love going to Marble Unlimited. Karina is always such a pleasure to work with. Her knowledge of marble/stone is amazing and she has a very good eye. She always follows up with quotes (and even pictures of the slabs) so I don't forget and is always smiling and a pleasure to work with. The selection of slabs are large and the people who work there are fantastic. Karina knows I need a fair price for my clients, so she does her best to give the best price possible.

Welcome to the brave world of adulting, which takes a person like me, new to renovations, to the heart of industrial Van Nuys to Marble Unlimited. Adventuring into the world of materials in search for countertop materials, I came to Marble Unlimited at the behest of my contractor. He loves Marble Unlimited because they price fairly. Neighboring a scrap yard lives three separate warehouses featuring many different types of materials: granite, quartzite, marble, onyx, etc. Google maps deposited me at a random building. Inside were little red signs requiring one to visit the office prior to looking at slabs. Where is the office, I wondered, wandering about aimlessly before fixating on gorgeous slabs of material. What kind? I had no idea. I did preliminary research on the Marble Unlimited website as to the materials, but what you find online is only a small taste of what they have. I would say the website does not even come close to the real thing. Wow. I found a worker who kindly showed me where the office was. After being juggled back and forth between employees, I finally met the very friendly, knowledgeable and professional Jimena. She is absolutely 5 stars! Excellent service. She gave me a twenty minute tour of the warehouses and kindly educated me on pros/cons with regards to materials. For example, I had selected an onyx slab for a kitchen counter. This is not an ideal material for a kitchen. While gorgeous, it can get scratched especially in a kitchen. Note to self. I selected two counters, one quartzite for the kitchen and one onyx for the bathroom. I love the selection of materials. I, to know surprise of my own, like "alternative" styles in stark contrast with the popular white marble of this era. Go figure. The best news? They have materials that could appeal to all tastes. One of the show areas is where sale slabs live. Hurray! Appealing to different budgets is important especially in this industry. Jimena also dispensed valuable insight: when selecting a stone, you have to get a feel for it in person. You will feel it when it's the right one for you. I couldn't agree more. Great advice! Four stars because I feel the site could benefit from investing in signage so customers aren't getting lost amidst showrooms. When you work one-on-one with a sales team member, it seems you have their undivided attention- which doesn't bode well for the random lost customer, such as myself. There are bathrooms too, in case you wondered.

Yowza! Lookin' for some marble, granite, stone, onyx??? Look no further, this is the place. If you live in West LA like I do, this place is waaaaaaay outta my hood, waaaaaay out in the valley, I felt like a few more blocks and I'd be in the mountains! But on Keswick there are tons of marble places, and Marble Unlimited is the best. They have a HUUUGE inside warehouse filled with full-sized slabs of marble and other types of rocks/stones/minerals. Then they have a HUUUGE outside yard with more. Then they have a medium sized inside room on the other side of the outside yard. Wow. Walked the entire inventory. Just love looking at marble. It's like a collection of God's artwork, some of the stuff is from deep inside the earth. The patterns are amazing, and it's all organic, natural stuff!! There was one huge piece of beautiful onyx, really a treasure, but Juan told me that it was too delicate to be used in a bathroom. I love what I picked, and the price was 1/3 the price of what I found at Mission Tile West in So. Pasadena. This place is wholesale to the trade only, so you have to be working with a designer. The only bummer is I got a ticket for not wearing my seatbelt properly (was under my arm) on Van Nuys Blvd. If you go here, drive really carefully, because there were cops everywhere. But I'm glad I went, and I love my marble.

This store is overpriced. You can find much cheaper at Floor and Decor by good $1-2 per sqft.

With some help from my fellow Yelpers, we discovered this unicorn of a quartz supplier by chance and we are so happy with the result. Our kitchen remodel measured out a very large island since we wanted to maximize the surface and go as big as we can. Turns out there aren't a lot of stores that have these oversized slabs available and if they do, their selection is not extensive. Yelp helped us find Verona and it was exactly the kind of discovery we needed since we were frustrated we couldn't find the quartz we wanted in a jumbo size. Wasn't sure if they were open to the public but we went in and looked around and met Arthur. He's mentioned in some other Yelp reviews and it's true: he offers excellent service, he's honest and takes his time with you to help you in your decision. Strolling through the large variety slabs, Arthur educates you on some differences between other surfaces he also has for sale. We finally found the one slab we have been looking for: Calacatta Bellezza Gold. Beautiful, no too loud, but hints of the gray and gold veins we want. Price was excellent. But first, we had to come back three more times to make sure it's what we want. Yeah we are that indecisive but each time Arthur was there to greet us and walk us through the warehouse again and again. Our contractor told us picking up the slab was really easy and they even looked at what pieces are available so they can get what they think has the best pattern. The installed countertop was installed today and it looks great. We are so happy with the results. It took six guys to carry it into the house and place it on the cabinets. It was an event in of itself but so glad it went smoothly and it really starts with Verona and especially Arthur. Please make this your last place to visit for quartz countertops. This operation is top notch and I can't recommend this place enough. Well deserved five stars for Arthur and Verona.

I went to pick up metals from the 'Artisan's Corner,' where various types of remnants, including aluminum and steel, were mixed together under a single sign priced at $0.61 per pound. I took a pile of remnants to the register, and she tried to charge me $2.49 a pound. When I showed her the pricing area, she claimed the sign was only for steel , even though the sign only said 'Artisan's Corner' and didn't specify a metal type. When I pointed out that everything was mixed together, she told me it was my problem and rudely snapped at me to go to a different cashier. While I was patiently waiting for another employee, she actually ran to the back to warn him, saying, 'Watch out for this guy; he's trying to get everything for $0.61.' She treated me like a shoplifter rather than a paying customer. Thankfully, the second cashier saw the issue, fixed the pricing, and explained the situation. He gave me a fair deal and explained that other customers often mix the piles together, even though the only other signs were for stainless steel ($1.94), lead, and brass--nothing specifically for the aluminum in that pile. I tried to speak with the manager, Joe, who was present during my conversation with the second cashier. He seemed completely indifferent to my complaint and was clearly just trying to protect Martha. As a retail store owner myself, I know how pricing works: if you make a mistake on a sign, you honor it. Posting a general price sign without specifying materials is essentially a 'bait and switch' tactic. Our company spends a lot of money with Industrial Metal Supply, but we will be taking our business elsewhere. We work hard for our money and refuse to be treated like criminals for simply asking for the advertised price."
