My boyfriend was visiting, so I planned to have lunch together with my sister at Angkor Wok. Neither of them had been to this restaurant before. Plus, this is only the second time my boyfriend ate Cambodian food outside of my house. We ordered the Angkor Chicken Wings, House Special Fried Rice (with chicken, shrimp, and eggs), the Fried Whole Fish (served with tamarind sauce, Kos Kong sauce; a ginger sauce with salted soy bean sauce), and the Angkor Wok Hot Pot (combination of meats and vegetables soup served with their house special sauce) to share between the three of us. Our server gave us a heads up that the Fried Whole Fish would take the longest to make, which was good to know! I really enjoyed the Angkor Chicken Wings and House Special Fried Rice. The wings were HOT and so juicy! The Angkor Wok Hot Pot was a bit underwhelming, but it was still good. I don't think I would order this specific hot pot next time.

Food was tasty everything came out fresh and hot. We got the popcorn chicken, beef skewers, and wide beef noodles. Decor is so nostalgic of your classic Asian Setup with the vibrant fake flowers and karaoke playing on the tv, I love it! Friendly staff and great service. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area!

Wanted to try this place because I havent had cambodian food much at all before and so much of what they have here is new to me. We picked kinda randomly off the menu but everything was great!

It was great to see so many tables filled this time around--Angkor Wok truly deserves all the praise for bringing Cambodian cuisine to the Seattle area! This was my third visit, and as always, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the food did not disappoint. If you haven't been yet, don't wait--this place is a must-try. And be sure to mention SeattleFoodieAdventure on IG for a discount on your bill!

As a Cambodian American, this is as good as you can get in Seattle for affordable authentic Khmer food. The nom ba chok is my favorite. It could use more prahok but I understand it's mild down for the American pallet. The staff is sweet and attentive. Price is reasonable. Decor is cute, fun and gives off a tropical, fun vibe. Location is great, however the street parking can be a downside. The bathrooms are clean.

Absolutely loved the vibe here--bright, vibrant, and full of tropical charm. From the lush floral walls to the scenic mural, the space makes you feel like you're on vacation before your food even hits the table. We ordered several dishes, and everything came out quickly and piping hot. Highlights for me were: Egg Noodles with Beef - This was the showstopper! Perfectly cooked wide rice noodles with tender beef, crisp veggies, and a slight char from the wok. So flavorful and comforting. Popcorn Chicken - Crispy, seasoned well, and topped with fresh herbs. A great starter or snackable plate. Egg Rolls - Golden and crunchy with a solid dipping sauce. Bonus: the lettuce wrap touch is always appreciated. Steak Salad - Packed with flavor and definitely has a kick! If you like spice, this one's for you. Service was warm and welcoming. Even though they were out of a few things we originally wanted and we didn't get a water refill, the staff was friendly and attentive with our orders overall. Would absolutely come back--especially for those noodles. Solid spot for a cozy lunch or casual dinner with friends!

Quiet when we went for Friday dinner but central to U District. The salad was so fresh and tangy, so many herbs, just how I enjoy southeast asian food. But the hot pot was lighter on flavor than expected and I wish there was more produce put into it. Beware that the large rice is nearly a whole pot of rice. My friend and I got it to share and barely made a dent.

Pretty good spot. Nice and spacious! When I came in on a Sunday afternoon, a lot of the items like the beef skewers were out so I tried the phnom penh noodle soup and the papaya salad. My favorite of the two food items has got to be the papaya salad. The soup was good though too. I definitely want to come back to try other dishes.

Luckily we stopped here for some delicious food today. Chicken is moist and flavorful. There is spacious seating and the owner is one of the nicest people. You can just tell from his demeanor he cares about his craft and his clientele.

Yum!! Came upon this place when looking for a quick bite before a movie. Had the Cha Mi Suor and it was delicious! Couldn't stop eating it, even though I was quickly stuffed. The mushrooms had so much umami flavor. There are a lot of great looking dishes on the menu, and I hope to try more in the future. Note, they served beer & wine, but wine was crazy expensive. $15/glass for low quality brands. We stuck with beer for $5.

It was such a cute spot and the owner was very sweet! Everything came out in a timely manner, and it was all so flavorful. We ordered four items total, left full but not heavy. I could understand how parking can be an issue, but we went in the middle of the day on Wednesday. Definitely not busy then! My only gripe is that they didn't check in on us as often as I'd like, especially when we were out of water. Regardless, I'd go back! They have a vast menu, so I would love to try more of what they have.

I found this place through a popular local foodie influencer and while I usually and cautious about influencer recommended places, I am so glad I tried this place. The food is so delicious and portions huge- such a good value! I love how spacious the place is. Service was awesome and friendly. I hope the influencer plug brings more business because this is a local gem that is truly underrated! I especially loved the beef luc lac and dry noodles. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

This restaurant is fire! The food is amazing and the service is fast and friendly. There aren't many Khmer restaurants around and I happen to come across this restaurant by accident. I've been here Twice now and will continue to come back. They have many great comfort dishes. I highly recommend the stuff chicken wings and the beef with prohok dip. So good!

That excitement is exactly what brought us back a second time, and we even took plov and samsa to go for our road trip to Yellowstone. That says everything about how much we loved the food. The plov was outstanding -- perfectly seasoned, rich, and made with obvious care. Samsa came out golden and flaky, just right. Boso lagman was a dry-fried noodle dish with bold, satisfying flavor -- though more meat would make it perfect. Manty was solid comfort food, simple and honest. And the shurpa -- that soup was something else entirely. Deep, warming, and soulful, every spoonful felt like it was made with love. Food? Honestly, ten out of ten. No question. Service is where things fell short. The soup arrived last instead of first -- the team knew the order was wrong, yet refused to cancel it. The very next day they admitted it should have come first. Here is what made it worse: you tip in advance before even tasting anything. You pay that tip in good faith, trusting the experience will match. When it doesn't -- when mistakes happen and nobody takes responsibility -- that advance tip feels like a betrayal. You paid for something you never fully received. You have something truly special here. Honor it by listening to your customers.

We went for the beef tartare, Chinese scallion pancake, smoked tofu, kimchi trio, spicy rice cake, Chinese broccoli, "that" short rib steak, Kalbi burger, and the kombu cured mackerel. Everything was #brokedamout. The standouts to me were the scallion pancake, short rib, Kalbi burger and mackerel. Parking is available on the street and in private lots. Entree was nettle crusted halibut snd it was perfectly cooked. Again, the sauce was so addictive I could've licked the plate. Dessert was a Darjeeling panna cotta that was dairy free - so good! I ordered the catfish claypot, which came highly recommended, and it truly delivered. The flavor was rich, savory, and comforting with a beautiful presentation. My one note: order a small side of jasmine rice. The dish does not come with it, and while the claypot stands strong on its own, the sauce deserves something to soak it up. You will want every last bite. The location is charming, tucked into a quaint neighborhood across from a cozy coffee shop and bookstore. The restaurant itself is spacious with a well stocked bar. One side feels ideal for families and larger groups, while the other side leans more date night or casual drinks. It strikes a nice balance. Pricing runs on the higher side, especially since entrees do not include rice or sides and portions are not particularly large. It is something to keep in mind when ordering. Service was decent and attentive, though I would have appreciated stronger menu knowledge. Simple questions like whether a dish is gluten free or whether it includes rice or vegetables should be easy to answer. A bit more confidence and familiarity would elevate the experience. I also would have appreciated seeing Vietnamese representation at the front of house, given the cuisine. Would I return? Yes. The food is good and the space is inviting. The sausage and sauce were really flavorful, but the veggies didn't really pair well with it. The menu also says you get a choice of rice and sauce, but the server never asked what we wanted. The atmosphere is very quaint and intimate. The people dining next to me leaned over when they saw my food and asked what I got, and that felt very natural (I'm sure it doesn't happen all the time, but it was nice). The service was good. They are kind and welcoming and helpful. Now for the food... first night, my friends and I got the spicy pork bulgogi and (not pictured) the regular bulgogi as an entree, as well as the jeon sampler as an appetizer (which came with a fish and kimchi, as well as a scallion pancake like dish. It was VERY good. I am not super familiar with korean food other than kbbq, so I have nothing to compare it to. However, it was excellent. I loved the spicy pork (it will be my go to). The rice, salad, and miso soup were excellent with it as well. Afterward, I felt satisfied but not absolutely stuffed. Night 2, my friend and I got the Japchae with chicken, the pork mandoo, and I got the salt & pepper pork belly. The pork mandoo was really good, one of the better pan fried dumplings I've ever had. I'm a pork belly fiend, and it was good, I enjoyed it, but the spicy pork was much better. I saw other people get the kimchi fried rice and that looked amazing, as well as the bibimbap in the stone (or clay? i can't remember) pot. I'll definitely be back to try those. With both appetizers, I wish there was a little more, but they're starters, they aren't supposed to be huge, so I was ok with it. Overall, it's on the edge of madison park proper, what's not to like about the location? The food is great, the service is great, the atmosphere is very nice. Highly recommend.
