The owner answered all our questions and made customizations based on my daughter's likings. Goes a long way for me. Ambiance was so chill and relaxing. Seating was cute and personal. Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

I had that "Jersey Meat" (Taylor ham or pork roll, whatever you call it) egg and cheese but I'm happy I listened to the owner here and also got the Chopped Cheese. This breakfast sandwich was stellar but the Chopped Cheese was very possibly the best one I've ever had. The Jersey meat had a hard sear to it, which I love. Plenty of meat, cheese, and eggs on a fresh hard (Kaiser) roll. I got it with just pepper. Jersey meat is salty enough on its own and I typically don't rock ketchup with eggs. This would have been awesome with a splash of hot sauce though. Great sandwich. The chopped cheese was the hero here though. This was on a fresh jersey long roll and the seasoning in the meat was fantastic. Best seasoned ground beef I've probably ever had for a chopped cheese. Plenty of cheese, the roll, and the toppings were all very complimentary. The sauce is great on this as well. I got that extra drizzle overtop and I'm pumped I did. I had a side of it as well and trust me, I used it. Do not pass on this sandwich if you come here. The owner here is awesome, the food is great, plenty of parking on the streets around the business in a residential area, and the price is right. Salt Pepper Ketchup - Didn't Suck!

I didn't get a chance to eat as we were just out to catch up. The Bar tenders were cool and did a great job. The venue is beautiful and had a nice aesthetic. I'll go back soon to try the food. Until then if you're looking for a cool spot with some food and music entertainment on a weekend night, you should definitely check this place out. Have a good one! - Ray

They maintain the charm and character of traditional pubs with rustic wooden tables, a friendly bar, and a warm welcome. Located on busy Maple Avenue in Fair Lawn, my partner, our friends, and I decided on the Craftsman for dinner as a repeat performance for some of us. We easily made a reservation via Resy for a party of six. The entrance has an incredible historical truck parked regally out front, decorated in its autumn festivity for a photo op. The staff at the host station greeted us upon our arrival. Since all parties needed to be present, we had a small wait before getting a table by the window inside the enclosed garden room called the parlor. The overall interior evokes a rustic and industrial vibe that was fantastic, vibrant, welcoming, and enjoyable. The main floor also had "a relaxed sports bar feel" with many televisions, while a more intimate setting awaits on the other side. Their diverse menu consists of contemporary American cuisine from classic comfort foods to seasonal specialties crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As a starter, we decided on the Bavarian Soft Pretzel, Asian Glazed Calamari, and Crab Cake. Our main meal consisted of Beef Short Ribs, Lobster Risotto, Shirt Steak, and Pumpkin Mascapone Ravioli. Some of us saved room and got Cookie Skillet and Ice Cream À La Carte. Every bite was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and prepared to perfection. It was a tad pricey, but honestly for the portion size, it was well worth it. Our server was J(esus). He was attentive, friendly, upbeat, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. We had a fantastic time!

We sat down and the lovely owner brought over some savory popcorn. It was so good, she had to replenish our bowl. I asked her what seasoning was on it and she was happy to answer.. no gatekeeping here. I ordered the veggie bowl which was very delicious and my friend ordered the salad with chicken. She kept saying how the chicken tasted so good. As we were leaving we got to chat with the owner for a bit and she was saying they've been there for 12 years but recently with the influx of new restaurants it's been hard to keep the seats filled. She does have her regulars and strived to tell us that everythign is fresh, never frozen. I would highly recommend this place.

The original sever mixed up our order, ordered the wrong things and never even bothered to apologize for all the errors. She even blamed someone else for one of the errors. I enjoyed the crab cakes benner, but the turkish platter was mid. Unfortunately the food was not good enough to overcome the terrible service. I do not recommend this place.
