Finally got to try this laundromat it has its pros and cons…read more (Customer Service) = horrible! the lady made me feel uncomfortable, when I was loading up washers and going back to my car to get soap I caught her looking in the washing machine at my clothes ( while the door was still open ) I even asked her what is she doing she looked at me like ( oopps just got caught and walked off fast ) #weird The biggest washing machine costed $7.00 ( and the inside of it smelled like mold ) the machine was very very old which I found pretty odd as they have new washing machines in different sizes so I don't know why they didn't upgrade everything. The next size down was $6.50 it was a newer machine.. So washing was on the cheaper side. The older machine definitely doesn't wash good. The dryers is what they get you on. I had one on the hot setting and it didn't get hot. 1 quarter get you three minutes 2 quarters gets you 5 min ( makes no sense it should be 6 min ) normally I would only spend $1.50 max drying but here I had to spend around $3.00 I hope this place fixes things because it's real convenient as I live nearby

As soon as I got there, an employee walked up to me and told me to move my car from the front of the building and park in the back despite the fact that the front is public property and completely legal to park on. He gave me directions to the back, then proceeded to say I was "wasted," even though I was completely sober and could clearly smell alcohol on his breath. After putting my clothes in the washer, I went back to my car and then walked inside again, assuming there was a vending machine to buy something to drink. Instead, the same employee loudly said "Excuse me!" as if I was deaf, followed by "Hello, what are you doing?" I calmly told him I was trying to get something to drink. He responded by saying, "That's not a vending machine. You can get water from the sink," which was already unprofessional. Then he actually grabbed my arm, pushed me to the side, and said, "I just mopped." This was completely disrespectful, invasive, and unacceptable. No customer should ever be touched or spoken to this way. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe. I do NOT recommend coming to this place.

At the latter, there is no minimum. You can walk in with a single shirt. If you shop around in Alameda, you can get it down to $2. The help here is not the friendliest. Bringing them clothing seems to be a bother. Also, they do not offer 24 hour service on some days. I believe they have pickups to their central wholesale cleaning service two days per week. So if you time it right, you could get your clothes back in a day, but most often that will not occur. Parking is tough! Its on a busy retail street with meters.

The card reader for large washer #15 NEVER works. As a matter of fact, for all of the card machines in this facility, I would load clothes in and check if the card reader works FIRST before putting detergent in the washer - there is a little bit of a grace period between paying and having to press start. No one is on site that I have seen so your detergent spent will be detergent lost if the machine doesn't work or you don't have coins. 2. Check the dryers. Sometimes there are error messages and the card readers can be finicky (pic incl.). Also... there is a new notice that is BARELY NOTICEABLE) now that says you need a minimum of $1 just to start the dryers... be warned. Pic also incl. 3. There is a market next door to the laundromat so if you want snacks or something it's nearby.
