Washers and dryers now have card readers (YAAAAAY). Mornings and early afternoon are good - have not had to wait on a washer each time I have come here. Some deets... 1. The card reader for large washer #15 NEVER works. As a matter of fact, for all of the card machines in this facility, I would load clothes in and check if the card reader works FIRST before putting detergent in the washer - there is a little bit of a grace period between paying and having to press start. No one is on site that I have seen so your detergent spent will be detergent lost if the machine doesn't work or you don't have coins. 2. Check the dryers. Sometimes there are error messages and the card readers can be finicky (pic incl.). Also... there is a new notice that is BARELY NOTICEABLE) now that says you need a minimum of $1 just to start the dryers... be warned. Pic also incl. 3. Every time I come here, dryer #28 is broken. It spins, but no heat comes out, and every time, I have to pay twice to dry the same load of laundry. Each time, I assume that it has been fixed because there is no sign indicating that the machine is broken, and, I've called on numerous occasions...but it's always broken. The only way to tell is by putting your money and laundry into the machine. It feels like they are stealing from me, and everyone else who has put money into machine #28. I certainly understand an occasional breakdown, but this seems willful at this point... read more

Use this laundromat at your Own risk. this laundromat is unattended and if you use the quarter machines and enter a $20 bill, it may give you only $15 in quarters and there's no one there to complain to except a phone number on the wall where a man answers the phone and he has very poor English, and he doesn't understand what you try and tell him. So that phone number is useless. Today I tried to use a credit card and even though I have two credit cards which are very up-to-date and usable the machines that I tried to use kept rejecting them. Today, a woman was in there 2using her credit cards and she discovered while she was there that her credit cards were charged $90 on one credit card for using a machine. I will never use another credit card at that laundromat ever again and I will bring quarters so that the machine at the laundromat will not cheat me out of money. I went to pick my clothes up at 8:45 & both doors were locked & no one in sight. I live right around the corner & had to go back home to get my phone to try and call the number listed, called multiple times & no answer. Went next door to see if the corner store owned the laundry matt as well & the guy working the counter said no. I told him what had happened & he told me the exact same thing happened to someone else last week. Don't post your hours til 9 if you're not willing to stay open til 9 for people to pick their clothes up. Complete bullshit. I have to work in the morning & the ferry leaves at 7am sharp. (When they open) But all my work clothes are stuck in the laundry Matt. Definitely will never be doing laundry here again, I'll be taking my laundry money elsewhere from now on. && just a heads up half their machines don't even work! read more

I was really hesitant to visit based on the reviews, but find it an extremely average laundromat. Nothing exceptional. There's different size washers based on your needs $3.50 small $4.50 average $7.00 large $9.00 huge For the front losing washers. Noticed notes saying 'out of order' on a couple but there was plenty of empty ones to choose from. When I went to switch my load to the dryer, the owner was there minding his business and cleaning. Dryers say $0.25 with no indication of time, so I asked. Swipe your card and press Start begins with 10 mins. Swipe again and press Start adds another 5 min. He also suggested I try to swipe my card first and see which dryers were working, since they don't all work. (Doesn't charge until you press start) Very unfortunate other had poor experiences but I'd be comfortable going back. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. There's a much better laundromat down near park street with more dryers. The dryers here cost $1.00 for ONLY 10 minutes and there's no other option. I watched people put a quarter or two and beat the machines because it wasn't giving them anything. I lost money on the machines because it wasn't reading my card and it kept resetting to $0 after I put in $1 then another $1. Lint trays are disgustingly full of lint. There's only 8 dryers here but maybe 25 washers. ONLY 2 large and 3 medium. All the carts here are rusty and broken. Place is disgusting. read more

Because YELP will not allow to give less than a star I'm forced to give them an undeserving one star! My rating is 1/4 star, and that maybe to much.... I have been using this laundromat for many years, mostly do to its proximity to my home, as I do not have a dryer. Up until now the cost has been reasonable and comparable to other laundromats in the area (5 minutes for $0.25). I went in today 04-05-2023, loaded the dryer dropped in a quarter and tried to start the machine, unfortunately the dryer did not start. As I was wondering if the dryer was broken, another customer told me the prices had gone up. She pointed out the hand written sign over the dryers. To even turn on the dryer now it requires $1 minimum for only 10 minutes! Additional quarters WILL NOT increase or extend the drying time! There was no notice posted when I was here last week to inform patrons of an up coming price increase! I realize that costs are going up, but this is outrageous, and is pure greed!!! I have seen more and more machines with out of service signs on them lately, and they seem to be out of service for longer periods of time... This is the only time I've been in here where there was only one other person. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAUNDROMAT TO ANYONE!!! They have lost my business for good! This is a basic laundromat. It has a variety of sizes of washers, up to the magnum 8 load equivalent. Most machines seemed to work properly. There is a credit card reader on most machines, so quarters aren't a show stopper. It's not cheap, but not over the top expensive either. If you need a laundry likely to have enough machines available, this fits the bill. read more

Parking lot adjacent ALL double and triple washers It would seem expensive unless you figure two or three loads together AND the front loaders save in the $$'s you would be adding and adding again to the dryers. Their triple loaders are plenty big enough for large articles... Like a boat cover for a 18' boat Interior is clean, couple of benches to sit and read, or whatever. Right on Lincoln... If you don't want to support a sexual harasser, or if you don't want to be sexually harassed, don't go here. This place was just your average not-that-great neighborhood laundromat until the owner (or at least the worker who's always there) waited until I was alone there at night and made many unwelcome sexual comments about my body, while standing between me and the door. It wasn't necessarily threatening (the dude is like 80, I could take him.) but I'm definitely not comfortable going back there or giving them my money and I'd recommend you skip it too. read more

This laundromat is run by the same people that run the laundromat at South Shore. Called the number on the wall three times (around 6:20 PM) before the phone was answered by a man that sounded annoyed that I was calling to report an issue. The quarter machine was out of quarters and I was calling to request someone come down from the other laundromat to fix it. The man didn't want to send someone until 9 PM. Called the number again at 7 PM and now there's no answer. The machine has yet to be fixed. Additionally, one of their washers (4) leaks really bad and leaves a huge puddle from the washer to the wall. Yelp has this business listed twice at different addresses on Lincoln. This is a copy of my review for it under the other listing posted on 2/19/2014. Tonight was the last night I will do laundry at this place. I've put up with the machines that steal my money, the empty change machine, the broken dirty equipment, the homeless dude living in back, but tonight I came back to get my laundry out of the dryers at 10 pm and the place was locked up. This is an hour before their posted closing time. I called the posted phone number and there was no answer. I should have thought more about the early cleanup crew that was going through before I left. They did not bother to tell me they would be closing early after they were done. I've been a regular customer here for several years because of the location and the fact that the dryers have a warm setting but it's not worth it anymore. Goodbye Lincoln Laundry, I hope you miss my money. I talked to another customer when I went back in the morning to get my laundry and he said closing early is not unusual. He's seen the guy lock up before 9pm when there was laundry still running in the dryers.
