my regular laundromat. parking is probably your biggest issue here, but there's few dedicated spots in the lot with plenty on the street. kind of the smaller size but has everything you need. machines take cards which is a plus for us no cash people. $8.25 for the large washers and $0.25 for 6 minutes on the dryers. owner is super sweet and will even help out with loads if you have things to do. read more

My go-to laundry mat! The washers & dryers clean my clothing very well. The laundry mat is well maintained and cleaned. They offer machines that dispense soap/dryer sheets and change, the washers/dryers also accept card. We were short 25€ and the owner offered to cover it, then also paid for our second washing machine. Very friendly and kind owner. The washers / dryers are all very well maintained! I prefer coming here over using the washers at my own apartments due to cleanliness. They are stealing!! The big washers are listed for $6.25 a wash and the smaller ones $3.75. They have been charging peoples cards for $6.50 for the big washer and $3.90 for the small. Not charging the listed price is absolutely unacceptable and illegal. read more

I've never enjoyed doing laundry more than the hour I spent in rapt convo with Joanne who is one of those all 2rare front line managers these days who legit loves her customers, respects everyone yet is firm about respecting property and boundaries. Her machines r in tip top working order, the floors constantly swept clean, adorable homey decorations abound, as do festive ceiling lights. On occasion, such as Lunar New Year's she host an in-house celebration giving back 2her adored community Joanne grew up in this neighborhood, is proudly raising her children here, and is 4all intents and purposes the perfect community ambassador! 4all of those of u who (have every reason) consider doing laundry a slog of a chore, Foothill Washouse/ Joanne may very well change your mind! Free drying for 3 weeks?! First 3 weeks of 2021 have free drying to celebrate the grand opening. New, top of the line machines, ranging from 2-8 loads per wash at ~$3-7 depending on machine size. Machines take credit, debit and coin and there are change machines. There are vending machines if you need detergent or snacks (separate machines of course). Large steel folding tables with stools if you need to sit. Benches along the walls while you wait. Free wifi at 40mbps download speed. There was a tv on the wall playing the news, so if that's not your thing, bring headphones. I used a 6-load machine and the wash time was 24 min. For drying, the prices weren't available yet. The drying time was 16 min. I did not use any of the alteration services so I cannot comment on it, but the woman at the counter was very friendly! read more

I happen to give you guys a try and as soon as I entered I realized this wash house is clean and well presented! I met Joanne the second time I came here to wash because woodys was busy again and because of her I fully transitioned over and stopped going to woodys! Review for Joanne: Her excellent customer service and friendliness stole me away from a laundromat I had been going to for years! I am so happy I gave this laundromat a chance! You have a foothill laundromat customer for life as long as Joanne is there! You can honestly tell she loves her job and takes care of the store so well! She already knows my name and she engages with all the customers that walk through the doors. Makes me feel like home! And our conversations make me not dread washing and folding! I would normally clean clothes at the laundrymat provided by my apartment building. However, overtime, I have come to enjoy coming to this laundromat. The very kind and helpful woman working here makes what is typically a sterile experience feel like a home! Very clean and decorated with care. To save time and money I normally use the large machines. Admittedly they are not cheap but, in my estimation, there is something to giving clothes the room they need to get cleaned. This morning I stopped by the local cafe for brunch while waiting. Overall, it's refreshing to find local small business owners that take a conscious pride in their business and they, especially under all the pressures they are under these days, will always have my support! read more

This place is great. It is not fancy (or even all that clean sometimes), but who cares? It is cheaper than a lot of other places and very convenient for people who live in the surrounding area. The back machines are standard top-loaders and cost $1.50... I can't believe some people pay something like $5 to wash a load at a place b/c it has a cafe and/or WiFi! I actually don't think this place has much seating at all, but I'm okay hopping on top of the folding counters and reading a book. The hours are great... But don't come after 7 or 7:30 b/c the guy often likes to close early, and I've showed up after 7 and b/c no one was doing their laundry he closed for the night. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. EXTREMELY rude. Go to Woody's a couple blocks away. Better machines, nice helpful staff, and way cleaner than this place. A friend of mine (who is in a wheelchair) and I decided to do laundry here. It's not very handicapped accessible (which I think is against the law now!) the owner made rude comments about my wheelchair bound friend after we struggled to get him into the building. The owner then would only let us get quarters for the exact amount of money it would take to do our laundry there. Despite the fact that the posted hours specify 7:30am to 9:30pm (last wash @ 8:15pm), I started a wash at 7:30pm, moved it to the dryer at 8:00pm, and found the place dark and shuttered upon my return at 8:34pm, 2 minutes after my dryer cycle was scheduled to end. Oh well, guess I've got nothing better to do than be late for work the next morning. To top things off the place is an absolute pigsty and the owner is completely passive aggressive. This place has probably been around for quite a while... and it shows. There are signs dated almost a decade ago that state, "Sorry for the inconvenience" but they had to raise their prices due to increased utility costs. The outside of the machines look like they haven't been cleaned in the same amount of time. However, there is a level of charm about the place that makes it all okay: classic arcade games, vending machines, plenty of seating, and a very friendly man (presumably the owner) who's always there. While you wait for your laundry, you can pop over to the Rockin' Crawfish for a beer or some fish and chips. Prices seem about standard: $2 for an 18 lb. washer, 25¢ for every 8 minutes in the dryer. read more
