Parked in front since I was unaware of rear parking. Arrived and only 1 other person washing. Noticed I had to download an app (another one to add to the list) and it was a breeze. I did observed an attendant who was busy with the shop vac cleaning out the dryer vents as well as doing loads of laundry. The area is maintained cleaned and no machines out of order. I did run into an issue and approached the lady who I observed cleaning. Catherine when asked her name reset the dryer since it went crazy after trying to add more time. Update on more frequent use of wash & fold: they've lost 2 of my socks (1 individual sock from 2 separate pairs), and last time paired one of them with someone else's sock. I've also gotten a number of shirts back folded the wrong way (inside out, or with the sleeves folded inside the shirt), so I've had to re-fold. That has taken some of the value of the convenience of drop off and pickup for me and I'll be looking at other options in the area that are maybe more expensive but also more consistent in delivery. read more

The washer and dryer were working well, they went quickly, I liked that there was a discount for your first time. Sure it's more expensive than other places, but I feel like for the location, and the ability to go to any of the cute cafés nearby, as well as having them work consistently, and be clean? worth it. it was quiet when I came on a Tuesday afternoon, pretty peaceful, and I felt totally safe and comfortable. I also appreciate that this place has washing machine that can handle larger loads, so I was able to be more efficient with my laundry. August 7, 2023 11AM-3PM I stopped everything I was doing to write this review. First red flag was any time a Hispanic person came up to buy soap the man working today (8/7/2023) would give it to them for free but if another race came to buy they needed to pay. He did not do that when the owner came checking on the washers being fixed but started up again after the owner left. I waited by the front window to buy bags. I made eye contact with the man working but he continued his personal conversation with the 2 repair men. After 3 or 4 minutes and we locked eyes several times, I said "Can I get some help please" he asked me "what do you need" like I was interrupting his personal time. He walked over to the trash bags and started giving me old ones that were clearly used. I politely told him the bags he was giving me was out there by the woman at the washer close by. At that point she came over and grabbed her bags from him and he walked away with me standing there still. I walked over to him confused.....I asked him again if I could get some bags. At that point he gave me 4 bags for 4 dollars. He put the money in his pocket. After this he went back to his conversation laughing and giggling. The worker he was speaking too was walking out the building to the parking lot openly digging in his nose. I politely asked him if he was going to wash his hands. HE NEVER WASHED HIS HANDS. Every employee is super friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. They have a good turnaround time on their services and I appreciate that they give estimates that are reasonable; I've never had anything ready later than they promised, but often have had things ready early. Most importantly - our clothes are always super clean and nicely folded! I have sensitive skin and they use hypoallergenic detergent that gives me no problems. They have a fabric softener option that's very nice and smells great, and if you have a preference for how to wash things (cold water, tumble dry low, etc) you can have a note added to your account for future trips so you don't have to ask every time. read more

They don't have hot water but don't advertise it anywhere in the laundromat or on the machines, and refused to give a refund when all my stuff came out cold. The worker there told me they never have hot water because the hot water heater is broken and "everybody knows that." Refuse to do a refund or anything about it. Will never come back here again. The free wash offered for signing up with Dexter app is a total scam. I put in the promo code , it says $7.00 discount, pay now $1 then when I pressed pay now I was charged $10 on Apple Pay . The employee working there said there was nothing she could and that Dexter pay puts a $10 hold that should be removed in 5 business days. That was not posted anywhere and the Apple Pay shows the money was sent to Dexter pay so I'm out $10 for my "free wash". I would not recommend this spot . This review is about the noise from a monitor advertising the new water system they installed a few weeks ago. It has a continual advertisement blaring about it's features. Apparently, the owner is the only one with a volume control for this monitor. There are also 2 TV provided for entertainment, but with the added advertisement monitor, it's difficult to hear the TVs. This forced the rest of us to wash small loads in expensive overly large machines. Would have been cheaper for her to use the larger machines but instead she tells staff she'll call the police on me because I complained. There is free parking In The back and coin parking in the front. pretty clean. pricey. very pricey bring your own everything only thing they have for free is the little push carts for your clothes. "industrial machines" not equipped for really anything industrial size at all are 11$ a load and the smallest machine is 775 a load. but the dryer is only 25¢ every 4 minutes. but they have a pay by phone option if you download dexter pay which is pretty nice. works very well not buggy. does take an authorization charge for the dryer though of 10$. if you're looking for somewhere you can leave your clothes and walk away though I recommend this spot. very good area of berkley and not far from many businesses and places you can buy cheaper soap and stuff real close by. read more

Racist laundromat. Never go here if you have a small child in my case a newborn baby. A Spanish speaking customer was speaking in Spanish about me to the Spanish speaking employees. Newborn baby was falling asleep drinking a bottle and the Spanish speaking customer kept slamming dryer doors next to him startling him out of his sleep sticking his bottom lip out about to cry. I asked them to stop and they began to argue with me. The Spanish employee and customer kept speaking in Spanish about me staring at me the whole rest of the time I was there. I was impressed how clean the Laundry Room is and that their machines are sanitize after ever load. But I loved how they have an attendant on site who was busy cleaning and helping customers + they have a bathroom on site! I paid for their full service to have my clothes laundered and folded, when my dryer broke down. I had 3 garage bags filled with clothes and bath towels. They charged me about $44 (price included detergent), which was reasonable for me; since I had no time to do the laundry myself. I like how I was able to schedule a drop off appointment to bring my laundry in. They text me the very next day when my clothes were ready. I also like that they have a parking lot in the back, which was very helpful, since there was no street parking. The evening attendant was super friendly and helped me carry my bags of clothes to my car. I would definitely use their full service, should my dryer breakdown again. read more
