There's usually trashy TV on the flat screen (I've seen stuff from "Vegas' Most Sexiest Jobs" to the Kardasians [talk about TRA-SHY]). I haven't used the other services, but lots of folks seem to like to tan (no, really, people still do that--I was surprised, too!). I've always been happy with my pedicures and have had one manicure there. Last pedicure, I even got embellishments and a little blue sparkly. It was enough to make my day! There was a time there where I went to 7 different nail salons within a 4 mile radius of each other looking for the highest quality in nails, best service possible, and all for a reasonably inexpensive price. Needless to say only 3 made the cut. That was quite the expensive research project, and unfortunately had to go through a few bad Mani pedis before I found two that I will consistently patron. Angel's is one of them. Highly staffed, you'll seldom have to wait. That is critical! Great art skills as well as I like to get flower designs on my big toes for the warm weather. Current shows are usually playing on the tube too. Most of all, I appreciate that they have never accidentally burned my nail while filing it with the oh so scary hot electric buffer! Yikes! The water's too hot. The water's too cold. Ow dude, that's my skin not my nail. There are little gnats flying around here like the pedicure bowls are filled with rotting fruit...You just tried to kill a bug with your hand and then put your hand back on my foot. Disgusting. I should walk out right now... Oh wait, it's the end of the quarter and you send in a sub. She's more delicate and understands where the nail ends and my skin begins. She even compliments me on the bag I got in Chinatown...Things are looking up. Then we get to the massage. Anyone who knows how to give a massage knows you apply pressure to the muscle, not the bones. I try to tell her this and she says, "ok I be gentle. Don't want to make you cry." **blood starts to boil** I tell her I'm not going to cry, and then explain where the bone is and then where my muscle is...that she doesn't need to rub hard on my bones. Ugh. She asks if I've been here before and I tell her, "yes lots of times"...but I won't be coming back. In the end, at least my toes look cute...pedicures are supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. Really sad to write this post but I have to. The quality of my nails when I go here is always really bad. They don't make an effort to make sure the paint that hits the cuticle is straight and I can always see the double layers of paint. They always miss parts of nail too. I have gone here several times and each time I leave disappointed. I'm not the person that nitpicks everything but I don't see how they just ignore all the flaws that are obvious. They also totally messed up my eyebrows. I got a fill and she charged me for a nail trimming? Could be normal but I have never been charged for that. I would think it's part of the price of the fill. My sister treated me to a pedicure for Mother's Day and I chose the place based on location and Yelp reviews. Angel's did NOT disappoint. As soon as we walked in the door, we were warmly greeted and immediately chose our colors (which they had a wide variety, hot pink for her, blue for me) and sat down for pedicures. I was offered a towel to place over my knees since I had a dress on that day, and a female technician preformed my pedi, my sister's technician was male. Then then offered us something to drink. They gave us a list of their different pedi's and prices. We both decided on their signature pedicure for $30 which included an exfoliate, hot towels, and hot stone massage on legs & feet in addition to the routine spa pedicure. I have had many pedicures and never have I had a hot stone massage until Angels, it was great! The staff was friendly and conversed with my sister and I as well as the other customers while we were there, amazing customer service here. My sister and I both decided to get a flower design for an additional $5 and they turned out awesome, very detailed! Then when we paid, we each were given a stamp card. Your 10th mani or pedi free! Came here for a mani and pedi. They don't have a huge nail polish selection but they have plenty of SNS color options. The mani is totally worth it because they include a neck massage with a warm towel and it's a nice bonus. Prices are lower than most considering all that's included. So I'll start by saying I do not get anything fancy when I get my nails done. I do basic pedis fairly often, every once in a while I'll get a manicure, but never acrylic nails as I'm just too impatient and don't feel like sitting in a nail salon for hours every other week. To each their own - anyway, I went in on a random Thursday afternoon at like 2pm (so absolutely no one was in there) and asked for a basic manicure and pedicure. These gals delivered!! They do not have a huge selection of polish, so if you're picky, I'd advise to bring your own, but I got this done. Nearly fell asleep in the chair I was so relaxed! The following morning I went on vacation and spent the next 6 days on the beach and in the pool - my pedicure STILL looks great! Overall, great bang for my buck. I took the word of my fellow Yelpers and tried Angel's for a pedicure. My pedicure was A-OK- nothing overwhelmingly wonderful, but not the worst pedicure I've ever had. The salon definitely could have been cleaner and for that reason- I would never think about tanning there, but saw several people come in to tan during my pedicure. This place is so unsanitary. I visited Saturday for the first time and it's my own fault for not researching and being in a hurry. I feel like my feet came out looking worse than when they went in. They did not clean under the nails and had some inexperienced person working on me until a more experienced person could. I'm not one to make a seen and I although I was cringing the entire time I was there I stayed sadly. But let this be a warning to anyone who cares about not getting fungus or any other infection from this place. I feel like this place is for people who are ignorant to how a nail salon should be ran. I used to love this place. Close to home, friendly staff, good pricing. However, my recent visits have repelled me. The towels they use smell of mildew, the room where they complete waxing is so visibly filthy I won't lay down in the table any more. If those two things aren't good, makes me concerned for the rest of the care of the items in the shop. They give you a stamp card which earns you a free pedicure when completed. I don't understand this because they obviously don't like awarding them and are stingy with the stamps even after you have paid for the service. From my last visit, the shellac has already peeled from two if my nails and one had bubbles under the surface. I would find another place. read more

I did not realize that it is only good for 6 months and I'm a few months past that. I called to see if I could still come in and Lisa told me NO.
