Angel Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

Wow. This place is wonderful. My friend gave me a coupon and even though I have been going to a different place for years, I decided to try it. I was serviced immediately and they gave me an amazing massage with my mani and pedi. I got the shellac nail polish, which they did a really great job at. They were very nice and the place was extremely clean. Everything was so organized. I will definitely be coming back! read more

i went to get my eyebrows done and i'm very happy with what i received. the wait time was about 5min. not bad at all. their eyebrow waxing is great! 10/10 read more

I've come here about 5 times in last 6 months and I have no intention of going anywhere else! The ambiance is not great, but the pricing and the quality of their work far outweighs the unpleasant pink color on the walls. $30 gets you a spa pedicure with a sugar scrub and hot stone massage . An extra $5 gets you a paraffin wax treatment. Every time I am impressed with the amount of time they spend massaging your feet and legs and how much attention they spend getting your feet nice and smooth. They go well beyond what most places do, and after one pedicure you will be disappointed if you go anywhere else. My ones suggestion is to bring your own polish. They don't have a large selection of regular polishes, and what they do have seems pretty old. read more

I went to Angel's when my friend recommended it. The service was friendly, and the pedicurist took her time to do a high-quality spa pedicure. The price was standard for a spa pedicure. I will be going back. read more

This was my first time at Angel's. I recently moved to the area and I needed my brows waxed. I'm always cautious about new places, I like my brows sculpted but full and I'm very picky. The esthetician at Angel's did a very good job, right away she noted that I just needed a clean-up but that my shape was fine. (I'm always relieved when the lady with the hot wax agrees with me.) She was meticulous and and used scissors and tweezers as well as the wax. I'm very happy with my brows and I went ahead and got my upper lip done too. I love a place that I can walk-in without planning ahead. I was attended to immediately and the staff was polite and professional. The salon was clean and the prices were very reasonable, ($8 for a brow,$5 for a lip, $45-$55 for a Brazilian). I haven't gotten a Brazilian here, but I'm considering it (I prefer sugaring, but Angel's doesn't offer sugaring). You can't beat a reasonably priced, well executed brow job. read more

TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have a gift certificate that I've been saving for a special occasion. I did not realize that it is only good for 6 months and I'm a few months past that. I called to see if I could still come in and Lisa told me NO. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me Tom is the manager and won't be in until the following day. I called back 10 minutes later and Tom was there and he said they will not honor it because I let it expire. Yes, I am at fault for letting it expire but honestly had no idea it expired so soon. They could have honored it but refused and pointed out my fault for letting 6 months pass and hung up on me. read more

Serina, Kim, and Nana are the best! They're also magicians: They make my feet look like they belong to a human being instead of an untamed beast. I used to be leery of pedicures--thought they were unmanly--but the folks here make me feel at home. I'm hooked! read more

Lisa is amazing, all the services they offer are top notch, they do anything they can to keep you comfortable, I just can't say enough good things about this place. I adore them! The whole staff are lovely! I've had pretty much everything done that they offer and like tonight I found out they did lash extensions? GORGEOUS and a small fraction of the prices that the lash bars around here charge (granted it's wisps being applied rather than lash for lash, but they look fuller anyway, WIN), plus it takes like 10-20 minutes! I had the works done there tonight and just had to write a review. It's seriously my favorite salon. Friendly, clean, abundant services, unbeatable prices. They deserve all the business in this area, because they are awesome. read more

I've been coming here since I was little and I've never left disappointed!! I've tried almost everything here they've had to offer from facials and eyelashes to waxes and mani/pedi's. The owners and workers are very respectful and treat everyone here nicely. Very clean and professional plus FREE Drinks and Wifi!!!! Can't beat it. I'm so sad I moved out of town for college but I make sure every time I come back home to visit I stop here! Best nail shop in South Austin and the prices are very reasonable!!! Love this place! read more

Angel Nails - Shellac by Lisa!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

Lisa, is the best! I don't even live close to this area anymore but I'm willing to make the trip. She's the fastest and the best at doing my nails! Thanks Lisa! read more

I moved away from South Austin to downtown and will still drive south to this salon. Lisa is my favorite! The salon does great nail designs, waxing, and eyelash extentions, and the pedicure with milk & honey is to die for. I've had a facial once and it was definetly comparable to a facial I've received at a resort. The facility is clean, and I've never had any infection/fungus issues. Try them out, they will remember your name after you visit once! Don't forget your rewards card, you will earn a free pedicure after you reach 10 pedicures :) read more

Not a fancy place, but a great experience. I wanted a particular manicure design and brought a picture with me. I ended up getting a shellac manicure, and when the gentleman doing my nails realized that he couldn't adequately replicate what I wanted with polish alone, he brought out nail glitter and hand-glittered each nail. It lasted perfectly for weeks. I recently went back in to have it removed, and it took 10 minutes max and left my nails in great condition. read more

Well first and foremost I have been doing my nails for many years. I have been to Salons all over Austin. But Lisa and her team know what they are doing. I recommend her business to everyone. They aim to please. You just need to ask. Granted at times the language barrier is not all that well understood, but they will do what they can to accommodate and understand what your needs are. They are very friendly. There work is professional and if you do not like it they will fix it. You just need to ask. read more

I tried, Ladies, to like this spot. They had 3 major strikes. First this place is BORING with beyond horrible elevator music. Second, the painted flowers on my loverly toes looked like a 3rd grader's unsuccessful art work. Finally, I was gifted with...The Nail Nazi! And boy howdy, watch the smack on the toes/feet if you're not 110% on the ball...such as a relaxed state might induce. Sooo, yeah...no. Not here. Ever again. read more

One of the best pedicures I've had in a long time, hands down. I typically go to shops closer to Southpark Meadows or Congress on my way home from work, but decided to try this shop on my way to HEB. I walked in and there was only one other person. Sometimes this can be a bad thing, but I proceeded to pick out my color and take a seat. The fact that there was no wait and Taylor (I think that's what she said her name was...I didn't want to keep asking her to repeat herself) took her time (I was in for over an hour) made me feel valued as a customer. My normal places herd you in and out in under 45 minutes, so I appreciated the change in pace. I'll definitely continue to return as a customer and will see how they do with my nails. read more

Pretty bad. SNS manicure and within a week, there were cracks/splits in in the covering of four nails on right hand an in two nails on left.

So happy I found Angel's! Super friendly welcome, great, simple salon with great customer service and The Best Foot/Leg massage Ever! I got a mani/pedi and the ladies really took care of me. I highly recommend them. They also have a buy 9 and get your 10th mani/pedi free. I will be back! read more

My mom and I have been going to Angel's since they opened a few years ago and we both could not be happier with their services. Lisa and her team are the nicest, sweetest nail technicians in town and they go over and above to make you feel comfortable. I have never gotten less than a stellar pedicure there. My mother is disabled and in a wheelchair and Angel's has been so accommodating to her disability. If I could give Angel's six stars, I would! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could! Today I went in around 6:30 pm looking to get a full set with gel. There wasn't many people in the salon but all the techs were working with someone. So I picked a color and waited till someone was available. I sat down in the chair and the woman doing my nails was clearly not in a good mood. She kept aggressively grabbing my hands and anytime I told her the electric filing tool was too hot she would ignore my statement and continue, clearly not interested. So she proceeds to put the fake tip on each nail and when I asked to go shorter she said I would just have to wait till she filed them. Once she filed them, they were noticeably uneven but the most obvious were my ring fingers. Before she began adding color I asked her to fix the one nail and that's when she became completely rude and unprofessional. She bent my ring finger back, hurting my hand and told me it was just my eyes and that she didn't understand why I couldn't see it correctly. I was so upset at that point I told her to take everything off and that I did not want my nails to be done. After getting them taken off I walked straight out of the salon. Biggest regret was not getting this woman's name. Please take your business elsewhere! Worst experience I've ever had. read more

I love this place. I have been many many times and have never had a bad experience. My nails and toes are always done well and to my satisfaction. Everyone is always nice and friendly. The prices are great and they give the BEST manicures ever! read more

I'm new to the area and have been here 3 times. The price is right and the service has been great. I was lucky to get the mail worker for my pedicure. Best leg massages and does NOT rush! He's the reason I went back. The lady who did my gel nails this past time was great and even gave me a neck, shoulder massage for no extra charge. As I strolled out I told them they are the best and thought I had to post something. I was disappointed to read some of the reviews below. I had nothing but perfect service. read more

I have come here for a while now. It is now time for me to stop going and write this review. I want to start out by warning everyone about the eyelash extensions. They are basically falsies that they super glue onto your eye. I got some, having no idea about real eyelash extensions when I showered the glue they used would run into my eyes. Their eyelash extensions are dangerous, so regardless if you like the work they do on nails, please stay away from the eyelash extensions for health reasons. Ok, with that out of the way, I have been here for many types of services. Regular mani/pedi, shellac, a full set. I have had lots of services. Every time the job is not done very well, and I always wonder if they do a shotty job on purpose, so I am forced to come back. I should have stopped going a while ago, but this is the reason I kept going ( don't judge me), they use to put hot towels on your next and give you a neck massage while you soak your nails. Yep, that is what kept me going back. Well, they don't do that anymore, so the only reason I kept going back is gone. Shellac comes off in a day, Three nails off my set fell off in a week. It's just bad. With so many good places located so close, it doesn't make sense to go there. Once again I will just say, even if your experiences have been different than mine and you enjoy the nail service there, please don't get the lash extensions read more

I'm a 58 year old man who has never had a manicure. I have to go to a conference this week and will be pointing and calling attention to small items. My wife said it would help if my fingers looked nicer... fingernail ridges buffed cuticles trimmed, etc. There was no one in the place when I walked in except for a young lady behind the desk at the front reading a magazine. I explained what I needed and she said, "Those are your regular nails and there's nothing we can do for you". I walked out embarassed and will never try to get help again... certainly not from that place. I was clean and dressed nicely and my hands and nails were not dirty. My wife says that maybe some young people don't like touching old-man hands with hairy knuckles. Where are people like me supposed to go for help? read more

Pedicure was decent. Nothing special. It was a slow Tuesday, they could have put more effort Never, ever get your eyebrows done here. Did a TERRiBLE job. Normally they do alright to were I can tweeze the few they always forget at home. but this new girl just destroyed my hard work at growing them and shaping them. She literally gave 2 different eyebrows and made them very skinny at that. You can tell she was very inexperienced and did not know how to work with the wax. If I need a polish change and I'm desperate I'll go here again. read more

I am so grateful for Lisa since she painted me the most beautiful pumpkin nails for Thanksgiving!! She's so kind and the service in the nail shop is so nice. I love how the pedicure messages are so relaxing especially with the milk and hot rocks. Can't wait to come back for Christmas to get new nail designs!! read more

This place sucks... I went there to get stiletto nails.. And older lady started them and I didn't like the way they looked at all. So someone else called herself fixing them and they came out even worst! I paid $28 for nails that look like a 2 year old painted them!! I had to give them a star to post this but no fuckin stars from me.. I'm so upset right now read more

Angel Nails - $28 for this and then she wouldn't even fix them!! Never going back there - Nail Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

First let me start by telling you they do not i repeat DO NOT SANITIZE THE TOOLS, the tech slid the tools out the blue pack as if they were (a square on the pack changes colors when used properly) the tape was still on the pack. They re-use the blue packs and toe separators!!! Worst experience at nail salon ever!!! Went in for gel nails and the tech insisted on powder after i had already said NO! Anyways, after dipping my nails THREE times they were way too thick and he planned to leave it as is, but i asked if he was going to thin them out. So he did, but he ended up going too deep with the machine on two nails, which made them lighter than the rest. I saw it and so did he, but acted as though he did not (typical). instead of removing the messed up nails he, proceeded to pack on more product all the while speaking to his co-works in a different language, making me feel like he was talking bad about me, they would even walk up to the table look at my nails and talk to each other. He finally gave up and switched with a different lady who did the same thing, but seemed more frustrated and started cutting my cuticles with the nail grinder. When she place the clear coat, i showed her both hands and her response was, it only looks a little different (uuuggghhh) I told her im not paying for my nails to look a little different, she then yelled "YOUR ARE PAYING!" i then said "i didn't mean i wasn't going to pay, but that im not paying for a crappy job", she clearly did not understand. I was so ready to go, but then she graves my hand roughly and goes at my nails with the nail grinder. I said why would you do that, im trying to leave, she said because i was being difficult. So after another 1hr40 minutes i end up walking out and paying for my right side nails to look way too thick. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! read more

Wow, I had a ho hum experience....I was in and out of there with a gel manicure in less than 30 minutes.......nothing special, absolutely no personality at all.....will never return. Very disappointed. read more

I don't know how I feel about this place ... I hate to leave this review because the woman were VERY nice and inviting but my service felt rushed... I got the sns nails because I'm a hairstylist and my hands are constantly in water and sns last the longest... sns tends to be thick but mine came out super thick... they look pretty but if you really analyze them they are messy. To be honest even if this set lasts me a good two weeks I won't be back.... I can already tell these are going to grow out crazy looking.... I can't speak for any of the other services they offer as far pedis and waxing but I won't be back to find out either. read more

This is the only nail salon I trust! I've been coming here a couple years and Lisa always does an amazing job on my nails and eyebrows. The rest of the staff is great too. The pedicures are a dream and very fairly priced. I highly recommend adding the paraffin wax for $5. My feet stay smooth and soft for days! This salon is one of the only ones in this area that stays open all the way until 8. I've even come in at 7:30 before and they still took care of me even though it went way past closing time. They are never rushed and always professional. They have a great selection of polishes and one of the biggest selections of shellac I've seen. It's sometimes hard for me to choose from all the colors lol! On top of everything else, they do kids pedicures for $15 which comes with a cute little design or rhinestones. They always treat my daughter with care and that just makes the experience so much better. I love Angel's and don't plan on switching salons ever! :) read more

There is NOT tanning available here! I travelled across the city after reading reviews for nothing. Please, change your name/advertisements!

I have been a costumer of Angels Nails for five years. I've tried a variety of places in the area. I have never been disappointed at Angels, and have grown close to the staff! They always make me feel welcome and comfortable. Not to mention I always have awesome nails for such a reasonable price! Did I say that they always offer me wine!! Red, white or just a water. Such a great establishment run by sweet people. It's not like every other place, where it's someone new every month. That speaks volumes for me! read more

Clean, well priced, great customer service and best neck massages! My "go to " place when I'm not booking at a high end salon.

I have never had a worse experience in a nail salon. Techs are completely inconsiderate of your time! Didn't even offer a beverage while we waited for 20 min UNTIL I was already having to leave and on my way out! My friend and i came in and asked how long the wait was-no reply. Sat for a quick 5 min, was seated in a chair for a pedi quickly but only to wait for 20 min until someone was able to sit and get started. I told her that at this point all i could have is a polish change since my husband was with our baby and i had to be home in the next 20 min. She quickly changed my polish and sent me to sit under the lamp. This is when she decides to ask my friend who had the time to stay if she wanted a glass of water, soda, or wine. Seriously? We waited forever only to be asked now? I'm a stay at home mom and never get to have my nails done. This was a COMPLETE waste of my time and they have no customer service. I only stayed that long since i rarely see my friend. Bottom line-don't waste your time. Wasn't the cleanest place either. read more
