In January 2017 I began my quest for a newer lightly used Subaru Outback and had came across several dealerships that quoted prices and later added all kinds of additional fees. In addition many of these companies use aggressive sales tactics that were almost criminal in some cases. On Feb 24 2017 after several hours online searching for the car i needed that met all my financial needs, i found a 2014 Subaru Outback with 20K at Andy Mohr Ford, however it was at 9pm on a Friday and due to my busy schedule I only would be able to buy it and pick it up the following day. I called the name on the ad (Erick Bradford) and he actually answered the phone and worked with me on his off-time after hours. He was able to get me the best deal within 500 miles and provided me an out-the-door price after a couple minutes of negotiation. (Something very few other dealers were willing to do) Skeptical due to my past experiences, i went to the dealer the next day and Erick had the car ready to go for me when i arrived. The Outback was clean, had plenty of fuel, and i didn't have to wait but five minutes despite me being 30 minutes late. After the vehicle checked out i went to the finance office. I was still skeptical because usually this is where crooked dealerships pull the bait and switch and either try to up the price or add additional fees. This was not the case. The finance guy had my paperwork done within 20 minutes and offered me other finance options but after i told him i had financing he did not push the issue any further. He was extremely professional and got me out the door as quick as possible. All the other staff were also very polite and gave an impression from the moment i walked in that their business was professional and customer friendly. I will definitely be returning and also recommending them to all my friends. Horrible!!I am only giving them 5 stars because the salesman and finance guy that helped me were amazing. Now with that said I had to trade my 2014 Fusion in because it was stopping on me and Ford could not figure out what was wrong with it after me bringing it in 3 times. The 2nd time I took it in they CLAIMED it was the fuel pump and sensor. So they "fixed it", we paid and took the car home. Later that night my car died on me again and this time it was worst than ever. They have yet to give me my money back for a service that did not fix my car. Prior to this they told me I needed a lower control arm but they could not fix it until July 13th, a whole month after I brought my car in. Then they had the nerve to tell me that it was ok for me to drive my 1yr old twins around in a car that was cutting off at the drop of a dime and that had a damaged control arm. WHAT!!! I had to beg them to put me in a rental after having my car all week for the 2nd time. They paid for two days out of about 9 day I was out of a car then put me in a filthy loaner. Talk about poor costumer service. That's when I said you can have this car back. Its not even 3 years old and shouldn't be having any problems. I will never go back to Andy Mohr Ford in Plainfield. The service department is terrible and to be honest they made me feel like I was the problem, like it was my fault these "highly qualified and trained" mechanics misdiagnosed my car and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They are a JOKE!!! And we have made a call to the corporate office about my refund. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. read more

This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Andy Mohr Ford and I cant say enough good things about them. Our sales person was Josh and I feel he went above and beyond to make our deal. He went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable with our purchase. From making sure we bought what we were looking for to the financing to delivering the vehicle to us on the following Monday at our home an hour away. When he delivered it he made sure I understood the blue tooth and all the other controls on our car. I would definitely recommend Andy Mohr and Josh. The only negative was the internet sales lady. When she contacted me she led me to believe she would be our sales person. When we got there we were sent down to the used car lot and she came out. Kind of scary looking and then told us she would assign us a sales person. While I loved that I could search the internet for what I wanted I wasnt happy with the way she handled things. I was led to believe only she could give me the internet pricing. Which I found out was not the case. I bought a 2023 Ford F450 with a 6.7L the high-pressure fuel pump went out. This pump is in the engine under the air intake. With out this fuel pump the fuel cannot be injected into the cylinders at a high enough pressure. The service manager informed me that Ford will not cover this part under the warranty because there may have been water in the fuel. Funny thing is that Ford put a fuel water separator in the fuel line to remove any water from getting to the engine. Another funny fact is that Ford knows that water is common especially in diesel. Ford has known about this issue for years and has failed to fix this issue putting this 10,000.00 dollar cost back on us the customer when it is their design that is bad and their fault that this German made part is still being used in their vehicles. Now I'm stuck with a huge paper weight that is costing me 1100.00 a month in loan payment and 2000.00 a month in insurance payment's and 300.00 a month in trailer payments all not getting paid, because Ford refuses to take responsibility and fix this issue. read more

Just made an appointment with Andy Mohr Ford Service Dept. last Wednesday for last Friday 11/11/16. Took it in they didn't get my car done Friday so they called me and told me it would be finished saturday morning which was fine. Called mid day Saturday and still wasn't completed and they asked me to make an appointment to finish the work. I stated I had an appointment that I made Wednesday. So I had to take somewhere else to get the work done. Not a big deal but not good service. This is the second time this has happened. June 2016 dropped Fusion off was leaving out of the country for a week. Gave the Service Writer my list of items that needed completed and that I would be out of the country and to go ahead with everything on the list. Came back 10 days later they hadn't even brought the car in to start the work and didn't have any record my car was even there. I called the Service Manager Dan Wood and left him a voicemail to explain my issue with his service center and never got a response back from him. read more

I will never take my car here to be serviced again. Took it in on Wednesday was told they found the problem and it would be done on Friday. Not the case was told that what they thought was the problem wasn't. Was told they had to order a different part and it would be done on Monday. No wasn't that either. Told them we were going out of town on Wednesday and needed our car or some car. Pretty much didnt care wasn't their problem. Car was finally done Friday went to pick it up and bill was higher that what we were told. Then they told us how they did us a favor by not charging us a restocking fee for the parts THEY ordered that were not what was needed to fix the car. (Guess if you need to make money just order alot of unneeded parts and charge customer to restock them.)they also told us how they saved us money by not charging us all the hours their tech spent fixing what wasn't the problem. Got home and had a problem and was told manager was with a customer and would call back. Still waiting. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Ford. I brought my car in on Tuesday, 7/9/24, at 7:30 AM, expecting prompt attention and a quick turnaround. The following day, I authorized a battery change, assuming it would be a straightforward fix. However, what followed was a series of frustrating delays and poor communication. Despite my repeated calls every other day, I was consistently informed that they were waiting for a part from Michigan. The excuse was always the same: "no tracking number," so there was no way to estimate when the part would arrive. The lack of transparency and accountability was beyond frustrating. The overall service has been subpar, with wildly inaccurate timeframes and a complete lack of proactive updates. I expected far better from a reputable dealership. This experience has been a nightmare, and I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for better service and communication. 7/27, finally have my car back! read more

Just bought a car from Andy Mohr Ford. This was the easiest process from start to finish. My salesman David C. was honest with me about the car I originally wanted but the heat would t work. Then he showed me a car that was comparable to the the initial car. But then I found the perfect car for me there and he did everything in his power to get me in it and the car payment I wanted. Since I couldn't get there till after work the whole test drive and filling out the financing was completed after close. Since it was so late the banks were all closed. Asked me to come back the next day and finish it all up. When Badu texted me the next day not only was he able to shave off a year of my financing, get a lower interest rate and he also got me gap insurance and a 2 year 24,000 warranty for just 20 more a month. I will tell anyone to go there from now on. This place rocks. Aww read more

5 Stars I live in the Outer Banks, NC where the temperatures rarely fall into the 30s let alone into the freezing zone. We drove to Plainfield on Feb 10th to visit with family. Very large snow and ice storm occurred while enroute which froze the windshield wash fluid solid. I was unable to fix the problem so took my F-150 to the Andy Mohr Ford business in Plainfield. They quickly removed the frozen fluid, replaced it with zero temp rated fluid and then pumped the tires to the required level. I tried to pay for the outstanding (and quick) service but was told "our compliments". The service advisor was Daniel Kellie who was friendly, efficient, polite and treated us if we were long term customers. My service rep was Rusty Garreitson. We could not have asked for a nicer, more professional and knowledgeable rep. I took my truck in because it had a squeal when you really gassed it. Within two hours Rusty and the mechanic involved, name unknown, had found what was wrong. Parts were needed and within two days Rusty called for the truck. A really nice car was provided for us. It took three days for the repairs to be made because the parts came in minus the proper bolts. Rusty would not authorize using any bolt. He made sure that they used the ones that were supposed to be in the parts package. I bought this truck from Andy Mohr and they stood behind their guarantee 100%. I am an Andy Mohr customer for life. Utmost quality and integrity. I came into the dealership as a first time care buyer. I could genuinely not ask for better service. Everyone between the sales team, insurance rep, financing department was extremely helpful and upbeat. They were not pushy, in the least, and explained every part of the process along the way. As a young woman, with very little car knowledge I did not feel like I was taken advantage of and that I actually walked away with not only a fair deal but a great one. Not to mention they did everything in a very timely manner. I pray that all my future car buying experiences will be on par with this one. We purchased a used vehicle. Andy Mohr Ford did not fix anything we were told they would fix for us at purchase. If you don't get it in writing they will claim it was an As-Is deal and not their problem, I didn't buy a warranty. The BBB wouldn't even help us out. The salesman was all in, telling us they would get a tire pressure sensor and the air conditioning fixed for us, when we were purchasing the vehicle. They didn't fix either and claim the vehicle was sold As-Is. Beware of what you think you are purchasing from them. If it isn't in writing they will not honor it.... read more

Andy Mohr does a great job in all aspects of their business, however I can not say the same thing about Ford Motor Company. There extended warranty sucks! When you maintain your car as Ford recommends and they don't cover issues such as restricted heater core, I have a real problem with that. I have been in this industry for over 50 years and have seen a lot of weird things happen. Without removing the core and flushing it how can you say it was not a problem with the heater core. It didn't take long for them to replace the tires (for free) and my car was returned looking better than when I brought it in (also no charge for me). I bought my Mustang a month or so ago, and had to bring it in for a window switch that wasn't working. The work was done just as the representatives told me it would be, and the wait wasn't long. I have bought a car at Bill Estes Ford in Brownsburg and they never treated me as good as Andy Mohr does.
