Once the mechanics arrived and opened the doors, they quickly evaluated my wife's car. The tension in the situation was relieved when the concern was identified and its severity reduced. We cleared the EVAP system error code, and my wife continued her journey home. There were some complications with administering compensation for the services, but we worked them out.

I then called the following day and was promised to have a diagnosis the day after. After not receiving a call on the second day promised, and the tenth day in total, I went to retrieve the Jeep. When they brought it out, the drivers side floorboard was full of water and it was apparent the window had been left down on the rainy evening prior.
