They are so dependable and conscientious. I know that I can always count on them to tell me the truth and do the best job for me. Anna is amazing in taking care of so much and we miss her Dad who was the "Best!" read more

Have taken two vehicles to advanced and had a great experience each time. If it wasn't quiet right they made sure it was before I left. Anna and Mike were great as well as Lady the office dog. read more

If you need any work done on your car, use them! They provide quality work and a good price. Only place that I will take my car.

Avon is blessed by the team at Advance! Our family van had the alternator die on us on Highway 70. I called around to find out where to get towed and God parted the clouds when we called Advance - Anna and Stacey made the choice clear. We got towed to Advance and they were able to work us in same day! Patrick dove right in. While we waited, our kids got to enjoy hot chocolate, sit on a comfy couch, and watch a movie. Most car repair shops are sterile with hard backed chairs and the smell of oil on linoleum. Advance was the opposite. While the blizzard raged, it felt like a ski lodge moment (after what we'd been through) The entire time we felt taken care of and understood. They put in extra care to get us back on the road as quick as possible. We are back on the road, but wishing every car repair shop was like this! And kudos on the cute shop dog, clean bathroom, soda vending machine, and coffee. Clearly a family-friendly place. It'd be our shop if we lived in Avon. Thank you, Advance! read more

These guys are awesome! Don't talk down to you. Give a clear picture and fast. Quality work for reasonable prices with fast turnaround. Love this place read more

What went well??? In a word - EVERYTHING. From the moment I presented my very complex issue, Anna navigated the warranty issue that the neighboring Nissan dealer absolutely could not - she's brilliant!!! Not to be outdone, Howard then performed a flawless surgery. TYSM Adv. Auto Team. read more

I took my Nissan Rogue here to get some major tune ups I had been putting off. I felt the price was amazing and the customer service was great. They answered all my questions and didn't push any services on me. He gave me a list of recommend services and priced them all out for me. They were able to get my requests completed within an outstanding time frame. 10/10! read more

My driver window motor was going out. I got on the schedule within two days. Once I got here I was welcomed and they gladly called my warranty company to make sure everything was covered. I had to wait approximately two hours but it didn't feel like too long as they kept coming and updating me on what they were seeing. I got my window motor fixed and was out by noon after setting an appointment at 10am. Great customer service I've experienced with my car in a long time. read more

Honest mechanics and reasonable pricing. Hard to find honest mechanics these days. Highly recommend.

Advance Automotive is hands down the best shop to work with. From the front desk to the shop, everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable.

I first Howard, the owner, when he was managing the Meineke Auto Care Center on west Washington Street. It was a great place when he managed it, but went to heck after he left. Happily he now owns and manages Advance Automotive right here in Avon, and provides excellent auto repair services at very competitive prices. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Nicest people you will ever meet, friendly. Lady at the desk very knowledgeable. Fast service at very good price. Love them

I have read all past reviews and in my thoughts who ever said that they weren't a great shop are absolutely wrong I have been going to them for over 12 to 13 years for all my car and truck service. I can't express enough gratitude on how they have always taken of my vehicles, they have always been honest and fair in prices. This is a family owned business and they treat you like family. Howard, Paula, Anna, Chris, Justin and Vic are very professional I couldn't ask for a better place to take my vehicle. The entire group mean so much to me and my wife, all I can say is Thank you and Lydia and I wish you the best and keep up the great work your doing. Again this is a great Auto Center in Avon Indiana, they were even great when they were on High School Road off US 40. Gerrit F Luider read more

I was very impressed with Advance Auto and Tire today. The staff was helpful and friendly. Broken serpentine belt and an alternator that was seized up could have left me stranded, but the guys at Advance Auto got me right in, and had me on the road in no time. Highly recommended. read more

My Jeep Cherokee died multiple times on me. I only had the car for a year and had to take it to the dealership five times. They kept giving me the runaround. I finally took it to Advance Automotive. They figured out that the dealership put a faulty battery in my truck. The truck has been running smoothly ever since. Not only did they take the time to troubleshoot the issue, but the staff is a friendly group. They are welcoming and have excellent customer service. I would highly recommend their service. read more

I'm not sure how I feel about them after my last visit. I am dropping a star. I received a quote of $500 to have my front brakes serviced. A local tire shop in Brownsburg quoted $280 for the same service. That is a very, very large difference. They did price match for me, and they did quality work. I am updating my review so that others are aware that they may want to shop around on brake work before accepting their quote. read more

Went to get my catalytic converters changed. Was offered two prices. 2300, and 1900. Waited 2, going on 3 weeks for the parts. Was told that the parts were ordered from ebay and that the supplier did not know where the part was at. Went to get my truck to take somewhere else and Anna had the nastiest attitude. Told me thats why they don't try to do nice things for people because it always backfires and that I should have paid the 2300.00 price because I would have had my truck same day. She is super rude disrespectful and imo racist because she talked down to me as if I was broke. not to mention she ignored my calls a couple of days out of the week when I called to check on the part. I know this because I called from a different phone and she picked up right away..... Howard from what I know is a great guy but his business is being ruined by Anna... Went to Auto Lab and they had my truck ready in 4 hours. read more

Amazing customer service, great price! To say I've had experiences with other automotive places in the past who left a bad taste in my mouth, is an understatement! (Just read my previous reviews...) Anna was great and service was super quick! If you're looking for a trustworthy and friendly spot to get your car worked on, I'd definitely check out Advance Automotive! read more

They did unauthorized work on my daughter's car. Was only willing to use a $50 coupon (which is available to anyone) for refund or to put old part back on. Why would we trust them to do that? Shouldn't have to pay for unauthorized work ($300-350) done to car. read more

I took my car, that no one else would work on, in here. They knocked out everything that needed fixed in a very timely fashion and even saved me $800 by not doing unnecessary repairs that I thought needed to be done. They've earned a customer for life, especially since I have six cars!!! read more

A quick update on Advance Automotive, I took it back in to them because I was having issues getting my car started. I waited around for an entire day on Thursday for them to get to my car and was told that they wouldn't be able to get to it 'til Friday. They took a look at it on Fri. morning and said the problem was an electrical one with the aftermarket remote start and they said that they didn't work on those and referred me to a different shop. No charge for the diagnostic which I am thankful to Sean for but instead of the referral I was given I went to Extreme Auto Sales & Service instead which I am quite thankful for. read more

Very excellent service. Howard the owner is fabulous. And so is his daughter who runs the front desk. Very professional, friendly, fast, and affordable. It's refreshing to find local independent auto repair service you can trust. read more

Once again, Advanced Auto has came through. I had a busy day planned and went out to my car to start it. It would start for about a second and then turn its self off. Sean and Anna both told me it would probably be ok from the "phone diagonisis" I got the vehicle to them and they had it back to me in no time. Turns out it was just the battery in the key that prevented it to recognize it and it was an anti theft issue. They saved the day and didn't even charge me. They know I'm not going anywhere. Its good to see a place that doesn't take advantage of you. Thanks again!! read more

I get my oil changed here regularly. They are kind and courteous. The waiting area is clean and comfortable.

I love this place. I come here any time I need any sort of work done to my car. I've needed my wrecked Toyota realigned, and they went above and beyond my expectations. Plus the people who work here are super welcoming. I highly recommend! read more

This place is the most honest and fair auto repair company.. They genuinely care about there customers and will do what it takes to fix your vehicle. Very friendly and honest people who work there. Easy to get an appointment and they are very knowledgeable on car repairs. They take the time to explain things to you as well as show you issues or causes of the repair. read more

settled on a repair cost and they called back and said they found a part that was broke but they'd replace it at cost and no labor. it was a non-moving part. so who broke it, then? an old school shop would've taken responsibility for it. it could have been brazed back as good as new for a few pennies, but they bought a new one and charged me for it. read more

Very disappointed. I spent $1,500 for a repair there. One week later it broke, but their warranty "only covered the parts", so I had to pay another $640 to fix their mistake again. Once they got you over the barrel, you have to pay. Beware! read more
