Great lady great BUISNESS great people

I went to Andersons recently and I must say this experience fulfilled me more then I thought it could or even would. There was this charming Caucasian man o couldn't catch his name but he was a great handsome young male. He talked to me about the bills and what ice cream to order and I gave him life advice and talked about my life in Amherst in the 90's. I wish I could have caught his name. He was so damn cool. He told me about this BS rule that he couldn't wear his hat backwards and we talked about how this place probably has some fishy owners. I ended up getting a special rare roast beef sandwich and a huge ice cream sundae all for myself and he told me if I ever needed him I knew where to find him. This place is so forking cool and I will be be back for the above bar beef and the gotta have it ice cream.

Always good food, not to mention the ice cream I had the veggie wrap which was generous with veggies and avocado. Very good. Hubby got his regular- Carls choice roast beef and curly fries. I love that this is a Buffalo family owned business and a Buffalo tradition

Teeter totter ... in the Northeast United States we tend to say that instead of seesaw but both mean the same. There are ups and downs with a balancing point in the middle. And, your positioning depends on all sides, which brings me to Anderson's on Main Street and perhaps my reflection on all of the Anderson's chain. First, an immediate loss of a star because ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE wore a mask tonight. Clearly management does not care about the health of their customers nor their employees during these days of COVID 19 (I lost a friend who worked front end at a restaurant and wore a mask but breathed in the coronavirus from someone.). I thanked the young man for caring about my health and his fellow employees health. So, right there you had the ups of one young man's caring heart and awareness of science versus the downs of every other employee's disregard for all. I will admit that I am not a fan of Anderson's Beef on Weck but that is personal and most of my friends love their beef on weck. So that's an up but the prices have escalated to the extreme bringing the Anderson's meal experience perhaps to that balancing point of good food in contrast with high prices. The ultimate food product that Anderson's is known for is the ice cream. And, yes the ice cream is good! The sundaes delicious. And, the price still reasonable! So it's all on the upswing! When you are in Buffalo someone eventually will say 'let's go to Anderson's!' Just be sure to wear your mask and not be shocked by some of the prices and definitely get some ice cream!

Nom okay? Just NOM NOM lol. I love Anderson's. The BEST custard ever. Is the customer service great ? It's okay. Is the roast beef overpriced yet delicious? Yup. Will I be back? Of course :)

I've been to Anderson's before and have returned! Very good and a great stop after visiting the mall

We had a peanut butter passion sundae and it was pretty good. I would say nothing too special, but glad we got it! The presentation was great and the amount of ice cream was delightful, but the flavors and creaminess weren't quite what we were expecting.

Plenty of parking for pick uo

Being such a beautiful day we decided to go get an ice cream. My favorite type of ice cream is frozen custard so off to Andersons we went. As usual we stared at the menu for a few minutes but no idea why. I pretty much always get the same thing, either a plain chocolate or a twist soft serve cone. Today I went with the chocolate. My husband got the daily special which I think was called jamoca (coffee flavored). Neither of us are much into toppings which actually I think allows us a better chance to enjoy the taste of the ice cream. Kinda like with drinking coffee black to get the full flavor. The chocolate was very creamy and tasted great. My husband said the jamoca was a little weak in coffee flavor. Split vote. Looks like they added more seating outside with several picnic tables nicely spread out. There was someone walking around cleaning each table as people left. The inside and order counters seemed to be maintaining good social distancing. Guess we'll have to come back again to see how they handle a big crowd. Maybe next time I'll stray from my normal order and try their beef on weck! 2021-38

Sadly disappointed at the customer service. I contacted the store for delivery specifics and I submitted an order online on the afternoon,12/16/25. I was informed by the (young sounding, likely high school age) employee that the orders usually ship 1-3 business days (according to the website US priority mail) but with the holiday may be up to 5 business days.....ok that will still work. I received an email shortly after I ordered online that the order was accepted and being processed. Card was charged on 12/17/25. Order was to have the items during the Christmas holiday. 12/27/25 No order arrived. I sent an email to address listed on website, inquiring about my order. STRIKE 1 12/30/25- NO response from mgt. STRIKE 2 12/30/25 called the store requesting to speak with a manager, request refused. Employee instructed me to send email to the address listed. I stated that had already had been done, had not received a reply, and requested again to speak with a manager, Denied. Employee stated and attempted to check store data base regarding order. Was told that they didn't have the access level to check deeper, Thus the reason to speak with a manager... No information, tracking regarding my order was accessed STRIKE 3 Was told it would be looked into and I would be notified via phone. I understand holiday is busy mail season, US Priority states 1-3 business days, 9 Business days later, no order arrived. Poor service and no confidence in any further order deliveries, based on my experience.

Think I found that one shady spot to enjoy some really great strawberry ice cream. Noted the place was clean - absent the usual ice cream mess on tables and pavement. I signed up for the rewards program, sampled the graham central station, and ordered the turtle sundae! First things first: excellent customer service! That always stands out to me, as I feel it is really lacking at a lot of places. Thank you to the gentleman that took my order! Next up, they have a rewards program! Signing up gave me $3 off my order. You earn 1 point per dollar and get $5 off per 50 points. There are many picnic tables to sit at but it is order at the window only so no where to sit inside FYI. The graham central station sample I tried was delicious. I tried it to possibly replace the vanilla icecream with in my sundae but felt it packed enough flavor, that I didn't need to have it with a sundae with all the toppings (better on its own). The turtle sundae was absolutely rich and decadent and everything I wanted. Even the cherry on top was more rich and plump than the average maraschino cherry. It was extremely filling and took me an entire hour to finish .. still had fudge in the cup when I tapped out. The vanilla was so so creamy and delicious! Now THIS is real ice cream! As far as prices go, I find them pretty on point and to be expected in this area. Competitors are charging about the same and the quality is way better here. I don't mind paying for premium anyway and being absolutely satisfied. Quality always wins for me. I'm not the biggest ice cream fanatic, but this is definitely the place I'm going to go when I have a craving from now on. Sorry for the lack of picture - received an unexpected phone call right as my order came out.

The service was quick and our waitress was nice, but the food was not great. We ordered the strawberry crepe, local eggs breakfast special, and the seafood crepe. The local egg breakfast was good and basic so it's hard to mess that up, but the crepes were not good, especially the seafood, but the side salad that came with it was delicious. I don't plan on coming back here and wouldn't recommend it to friends/family.
