Never been here and my wife and I were in the area and I heard good things about it so we tried it out. Was not disappointed at all! We both ordered sundaes and for $6, these things were huge! I'm a pig so I finished mine with no problem but my wife could get through about half of hers. Loaded with whipped cream and sauce and served with pure joy and deliciousness! We got there about 8:40 and they close at 9 but it was busy and more people were coming in. Service was quick and I felt bad as it looks like they were trying to clean up, but the staff was friendly. I love JoJo's the service is always friendly and they have a wide variety of ice cream treats from cones & sundaes to parfaits & nachos. More recently they have also been bringing in flavors from other vendors such as Ashby's. They are also open year round for when you need your ice cream fix in the middle of winter! The only warning I have is if they are really busy and you park on the right side of the building, you might get blocked in by the drive thru line. read more

Never knew this was an additional icecream location in Lockport. After finshing , the quickest ive ever bought running sneakers @ Shoe Depot...the sun, and finally break in weather, made me crave a milkshake. Instead of going to Lakeeffect or Tasty Treat...i choose here. Even though, this family owned ice cream shop has been open since 2017, in a former KFC , the service even though 2 people working, kept the flow of orders going smoothly. Reasonable prices that include tax, punch card, and very unique menu of perrys icecream....I ordered a lavender dream large milkshake$6.00...the flavor was unique, suddle with a touch of vanilla, blackberry and semi lavender. Home is near Milkersport but this place is worth the big circle we make. Always had friendly service, OPEN YEAR ROUND and their "late hours" hit the spot after a night of sweating playing volleyball. Cookie Monster sundae, custard, and smoothies are a big hit in our family. Plus they have a punch card system and so cutely decorated for every season. read more

Went here after dinner across the street from Danny Sheehans, what a nice treat! We got their custard cones - super smooth, creamy perfection. The hubby got a large, and holy moly it was hugeeee. Def not recommended for one person after a big dinner - but also you do you. We went in for dine in, service was quick and we noticed they had a constant line for drive thru which they also got through pretty quickly. read more

The two most noteworthy things about JoJo's in my opinion is that they are open year round and all the different Parfaits they make. The young kids working there do a good job. Also nice is that they have a drive-thru. No need to wait for spring/summer weather to go get ice cream :) read more

I went through the drive through line understanding there were both customers inside and in the drive through line. As I got to the window I asked for a few minutes a woman (short blonde) told me nope sorry they can't do that the line is backed up (THERE WAS ONE CAR BEHIND ME AND I WAS ALREADY IN LINE FOR 15 MINUTES). Suggestion, if you're not going to allow your paying customers to look at the menu (which is not online) add one that is detailed to where there's always a traffic jam. I did not appreciate her response nor her tone and i'm disappointed that my once favorite ice cream place has now become an avoidable business. read more

JoJo's is a blessing! I love the fact that they have a drive thru to help satisfy the need for some delicious soft serve. From a twist in a dish with rainbow sprinkles to a Carmel pretzel crunch sundae, they have everything. In the summer they are always busy, and the staff is always super friendly, and serve a great dish of ice cream. Don't forget about the ice cream sandwiches that are made at the shop, and are fantastic! If you want a great deal, get the Ice Cream Nachos. Think a large sundae, with whipped cream, nuts, a cherry and a delicious topping. For example, vanilla ice cream, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that have been crushed, whipped cream, a cherry, and waffle cone pieces. Make sure you have an appetite, and you get all of this for $5. While randomly driving around on the 4th of July we stumbled across JoJo's Ice Cream in Lockport (I know, a place dominated by Lake Effect Ice Cream). The place itself is pretty plane inside not really providing much decoration or colour. The menu has all the basics from sundaes, milkshakes, cones, and flurry type ice cream infused with candy. The ice cream they use (like a lot of places in the area) is Perry's. I ended up getting a swirl flurry with cookie dough chunks mixed into it. I was pretty satisfied with what I got even struggled to finish (I definitely should of gotten a small instead of a large). I never have much to say in regards to places like this, but overall, this is a small ice cream shop that gives you some decent variety at some decent prices. Would I ever pick this place over Lake Effect down the street? Absolutely not. But if you are looking to try something a little different then give this place a go! read more

Visited JoJo's last night. I ordered a make your own parfait. Hard vanilla, chocolate sauce, spanish nuts, no whip. They were out of Spanish nuts so I said peanuts ok. Filled with whip when they handed it to me. Told the girl no whip, she made it again. We leave, take a bite and it's custard. Go back and the girl says we are out of hard vanilla. So you don't tell the customer? You just make it how you see fit? I told her I wanted my money back. No apology just rude. Where is the customer service? This has happened three times this summer. JoJo's is awesome and it's because of more than their ice cream. First they decided to open in an old KFC location so they are reusing a building instead of creating something new which I think is environmentally friendly and also gives new life and love to an otherwise vacant building. The location has been key during the pandemic as they kept the drive thru window. The line has wrapped around the restaurant and down the street a lot, offering quick and friendly service while keeping the public safe. They also contribute to community functions and I appreciate their efforts in being a part of the city, not just a business trying to make money. Now to the ice cream: they make their own ice cream sandwiches with lots of flavors and toppings to choose from as well as creative "parfaits" made with custard and other sweet ingredients like cereal, cupcakes, candies, and brownies. They sell Perry's hard ice cream and have lots of flavors to choose from. Love 'em! read more

I just want to start off with this was our favorite place to take our grand children. everything was always great. Till last Thursday night. We showed up around 10 to 9. before they closed. We waited in line with 3 cars in front of us for over 20 minutes to place our order. The 3 cars in front would be served. When we got to the window the girl at the window clapped her hands and said she couldn't serve us. then told us it was company policy. I asked what do you mean this is company policy? I also asked why wouldn't someone come out to tell us so we didn't sit and wait for 20 minutes. She then repeated to tell me a few more times it was company policy. I understand that these people would like to go home. but they had us wait in line to serve all 3 cars in front of us then tell us no. I would be more understanding if i got there after close and if there were cars behind us. we were the lat car. 4 soft serve ice creams. I would have gone inside but the door was already locked. knowing that we were near closing time we went to the drive thru. The clapping of the hands is a pure sign of disrespect.then not serve us after serving the 3 in front. Yeah a over 20 minute wait for 3 cars. I don't know what was ordered but 20 minute wait. Cute little scoop shop in the city. While the selection may not be artisan flavors, there is a wide variety to choose from, all the favorite Perry's to be had. What I will not fail to mention is the homemade waffle cone! Quite delicious as a side even, and now featuring a Chocolate waffle cone!
